Criminals committing online theft. I had never heard of or used this website and noticed a transaction for $59.99 AUD. When I reported this to my bank, Wise, they told me it was legitimate as I had previously had the same amount debited, which I had missed two months prior. Before this, I had 3 transactions, all $1, cancelled a few days before the first transaction. My card details must have been lifted from another website but literally no idea where or how. After saying I would go to the police, I received a full refund for both payments but will still be reporting this.

Entered a competition and was redirected too this bullshit scam site they took a $6.00 payment for subscription I contacted my bank and they blocked payments just need too wait for new card and I’m from Australia

I have been scammed too. I was trying to use payparking. They took 1pound initally, now iv had 2 lots of 39.99 come out of my account..
Will get intouch with my bank and see what happens..

I am not able to get a hold of any support for money that was charged to my credit card. I never authorized this. It's a scam as far as I'm concerned. Very angry.

Was billed for something I didn’t receive

Like a lot of people here my wife when to pay for parking and ended up being scammed by Bebooks.space when trying to obtain parking ticket. Had a £1 transaction in her Lloyds account. Contacted bank.

So far i have found Bebooks.space bechef.club and gamesbox.pro all run by Digotech Ltd 54 Nicholls Field, Harlow, Essex CM18 6DZ, UK
Companies House show Digotech Limited director as Chloe Emma Holland at the same address.

Be careful when paying for parking!!

Tried downloading a BOOK for class and somehow got redirected and scammed by this app. Thankfully my bank saw it immediately and flagged it as fraud.

How come that i am not concern with you but you try each week to take 59.99. I dont have nothing with you. Stop trying to get the famous 59.99 and 4.00 i'll make a complaint if you don t stop trying getting forced money ??

I would give zero if possible. As with the others, I was entering the Greatest Hits Radio competition and the pop up came up. I have a pending £1 and £39.99 payment. I have sent an email to request a refund and cancelled the subscription, but have to wait for the payment to clear before I can ask the bank to recover the money. It's a blatant fraud.

This has happened to me also. Purchased a printer and it came with a QR code to set the printer up. I have clicked something in the process and they have taken £1.00 out of my account and now a further £39.99. Have contacted bank and they are looking into it. Feel sick to my stomach.

Same as everyone else thought I was authorising payment to greatest hits radio for a competition and thought I was authorising their payment, then they took 39.99 out of my account, I am scam aware, so it can happen to anyone

I have never used or done anything on game box and I've a 40 odd pound transaction pending, how do I get my money back when it clears????

They must be making millions I have no idea how they got my CC details but they start with £1 then £39.99 every month..Never knew anything about this until my CC company called me to check if it was myself making these payments.

You've deducted money from my account n before the months trial is over. This is dishonest

Scam and who ever runs this has taken 39.99 from my account without my permission so it's theft

Yes, this is a scam and yes, they got me too, but they only got a $1.99, I’ll get that back. They tried getting the 39.99 But I beat him to the punch. If you haven’t heard of Revolt cards, check them out. This is not an ad for them. I personally use them and they have three different types of cards virtual use once and a regular card the virtual cards or any of the cards for that matter when you get A charge that you do not recognize, you can freeze your card, not accept any more charges from that company, or dispute the charge. When you do not accept any more charges from that company, it doesn’t matter which card you’re using they don’t have any more information, anyway they’re still trying to get money from me. Let’s see if we can’t put them under.

No stars actually. Evil scammers. By the time you realise you have been scammed, they have already taken six months worth of monthly payments (£240) via direct debit, which they have set up by taking £1 first from you in some way. It’s not at all obvious how it happens.
Once you realise, and you stop the card, then it seems they can still continue to take it because the new card details are uploaded to the direct debit. I have made a claim to Nationwide, and I am waiting to hear

On the 6th May 2024 I visited Warwick University Campus and parked in Car Park No: 6. I scanned the QR parking code as directed by the signs in the car park and attempted to pay the parking fee. During this process my Credit card failed to make the payment and was frozen so that I was unable to use it again. I therefore attempted to make the payment using my Bank Debit card and as far as I was aware I made the payment.
On returning home I checked my bank Debit Card account and discovered that a payment of £1.00 had been taken by a company called gamebox.pro. I checked this company online and discovered that they are a scam company that seems to have found a way of intercepting QR codes and stealing money from unsuspecting people trying to make legitimate use of QR codes.
I called my bank and they informed me that gamebox.pro attempted to take a further £39.99 from my account, but this was stopped by the bank. My Debit card has now been cancelled by the bank and I am waiting for a replacement card.

Been reading all the below and can only say that I have fallen for the same scam. I bought an outside camera and had to scan a QR code to download the app and install onto my phone. I had no idea that I had been taken straight to the Gamesbox site. When I was asked for the bank details, I assumed it was to save recordings on the cloud....bank are now dealing with the issue and I will be getting my money back. Just really annoying 😒
