Sofa with Modular pieces
Bought a Modular sofa that I could not sort out online.
Don Johnson at the Plymouth branch sorted it out in a matter of minutes with the right pieces right colour and the correct firmness. Excellent service at this branch I would deal with them again.

Good customer service
Went to look at mattresses at Plymouth Furniture world and was greeted politely by a salesman called George we explained what we were looking for and he went through the range with us. He left us alone to discuss between my wife and i but was helpful when we needed to ask some questions to help decide what we needed. He explained the delivery time and we bought a mattress. Thankyou George for all your help. Bought furniture from here before xmas and was given good service then as well.

had never heard of this company so I took a chance I did have a query when ordering and the phone was picked up straight away and my query answered
I ordered on the Wednesday and two days later it arrived extremely well packed
and I could track its route for delivery so conclusion I have no issues with company and I can recommend them

I was served by Richard Glosby from the Truro branch. He was very patient and helpful. He explained in detail and unfolded the bed settee for me to see.
He concentrated on my needs and I had his full attention.
The bed settee was ready for delivery earlier than I expected. There was a delay with my carpet fitter but when he had a cancellation and carpet was laid earlier than expected there was no problem my delivery date was brought forward with no problem.
The 2 guys that delivered it were very friendly and helpful and explained again how it worked.
Overall a perfect smooth experience.
I would definitely recommend Furniture World to my friends.

I dont reccomend, such unprofessional service. They never delivered, when i get in touch with their shop, the Laura could not help, she did not even know the driver's name, the manager was rude. Never going back to them.

Outstanding delivery drivers
I would like to say a big thankyou to the two young delivery drivers who delivered my 3 piece suite today, unfortunately I didn't get their names. Their professional skills and customer service was outstanding ensuring everything arrived in pristine condition. They were very respectful of my property even removing their shoes as I had newly fitted carpet and taking extra care of woodwork and walls. This wasn't the easiest of entrances especially carrying heavy furniture up steps and the horrendous weather conditions which added to this. A few days before two different delivery guys removed my old furniture with care and again brilliant service.
My whole customer experience of Furniture World from purchasing with Don at the Plymouth branch to delivery has been excellent. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you 😊

delivery driver wasn't a great ambassador for your company
You should make your drivers aware that they represent your company while out driving your company vans. Today after one of your vans left the distribution centre in Redruth, rather than stop behind parked car on his side of the road and letting me carry on, on my side of the road, he decided he was more important than me and forced me to stop abruptly and force his his way through while giving me hand gestures as I shrugged my shoulders at him. Guess who won't ever buy anything from furniture world? All because of the conduct of your delivery driver, such a great advertisement for you company.

I can only apologise that the driver of our vehicle was so discourteous to you – we certainly don’t advocate that type of behaviour and basic rules of the road suggest he should have given way to the you as oncoming traffic. I will raise this with the warehouse but apologise again for his behaviour. Definitely unnecessary.

I bought 2 items of furniture from the shop as I don't order expensive things online. Once the furniture was here, it didn't look right. I phoned and asked for a refund (in their adverts it states free deliveries and refunds). The horrid man I spoke to said I can't have a refund as I purchased the furniture in the shop. At no time was I told that I would not be allowed a refund. I'm 69 and live on my own. I could however chose something else instead less 20% of what I'd spent. There is nothing else I like or need. I just wanted my money back. It's a con.

I’m sorry that you have left us a 1 star review. You will no doubt be aware that the terms and conditions you have quoted are for items purchased online – the distance selling rules are different than those when you buy from a store. If there was no fault with the goods that were delivered to your home then we cannot just take them back. Our terms and conditions clearly state that we charge up to 20% as a restocking fee and in this instance you had changed your mind about what you wanted. If you had found something else in store to re-select to, it is likely the restocking fee would have been waived. This is not a con, the details were clearly stated on the terms and conditions of your order.

The gentlemen who brought my mattress were very respectful, carried it upstairs and removed the packaging for me. They disposed of the packaging also. Very cheerful and friendly duo.

We purchased a bed 18/12/24 and initially was being dealt with by George who was a new employee.
We then had Ben join us to support his colleague.
I happy to say what a really enjoyable experience we had during this sale both guys where great and Bens knowledge of the product was second to none..

Outstanding service by this company, particularly a chap called Jonathon. We have moved from Cornwall to Hampshire just before Xmas, so thought delivery would be an issue and we’d have Xmas Dinner on trays sat on camping chairs…….
The Items we ordered, suite, dining table and six chairs were with us in our new Hampshire home within six days of purchase and before the 23rd Dec as promised!! Absolutely amazing, cannot fault this company and thoroughly recommend them to anyone shopping there. Great range of goods and first class service. Many thanks 👍👍

great sofa bed from you guys…
I bought a great sofa bed from you guys but was disappointed with the delivery.
They didn't unwrap the sofa and take away the packaging plus fitting the arms onto the unit was very difficult, the sliding brackets were out of alignment which made it very awkward.
This would be impossible for elderly customers to achieve so to improve your service please take this on board.

We’re sorry you were disappointed with the delivery service offered. We provide two levels of delivery – standard delivery (which you chose) or premium delivery. Standard delivery does not include unwrapping or assembly. You would have been given the option to upgrade to premium delivery which would have provided the service you were looking for. We often go above and beyond with our service especially if we find we are dealing with maybe an elderly, vulnerable customer who might struggle to assemble their furniture.
