Misrepresentation;and disappointing customer service
An order was placed on Thursday with an additional cost of $10 for next day delivery since the product was needed urgently.
On the next day, I was contacted by the courier telling me the order will be delivered next Monday.
Disappointed by the normal delivery time, I contacted the live chat customer support. She told me :
(i) there is a cut-off time for placing an order to be dispatched the same day which is 1pm.
I have checked on the website that there is no such information. It just mentions “it’s best to place an order before 1pm”. If it is such an important information which will render wasting customer money on choosing an expedited shipping, they should put the information next to the options at check out. Or alternatively, the option can be made unavailable to customers once the stipulated cut-off time has passed.
(ii) there was nothing she had done in respect of my
case.
The fact that the customer support had misrepresented customer information which can’t be found on the website is a serious enough matter.
As I have mentioned to the customer support that it was not about the amount of money being wasted, it’s about managing customer service expectation and reliability.
Sorry about the long winded description but I do think my experience towards the company matters.
And because of this incident, I will not purchase anything from this company again, and I strongly recommend others to do the same as well.
Great service and selection

They are they only stockists of some of my favourite US brands.
Clueless
Been a customer for five years, although they don’t seem to know this. Placed my order on 24 May, expecting dispatch the next day, should have my order by the weekend. On the 27 May, I revisit their website only to find my order is still being “processed”, they have had three days to pick and dispatch my order, so what happening. There seems to be a problem with one of the items I’ve ordered, they have no idea if it’s in stock or not. No one thinks to contact the customers that have ordered this item, they instead wait for the customer to contact them, very proactive. After a few email exchanges with customer services, they ask if they can send out the reminder of my order, and offer me a 10% discount on my next order, if I open an account. I’ve been a customer for five years, and customer services don’t appear to know this.
So they don’t know what’s in stock, they wait for customers to contact them and they don’t actually know who their customers are (ones that have accounts).
