Very Nice veg good quality good delivery time however because of expenses for £10 I can go to Aldi’s and get more veg for a 10

This was my first experience of using Fruutbox and my 3rd of using a veg box Company. We ordered the unusual vegetables box to experience something new and it was a very positive experience. The delivery guy was friendly. The no plastic packaging appreciated. The box contained a Romanescu cauliflower, Jerusalem artichokes, golden beetroot, celeriac, kohlrabi, kalettes and piccolo parsnips. 4 of these I’d never tried before and it was great fun deciding how to cook them.
The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was the confusing/lack of delivery/tracking information. I think an idea of being given a morning or afternoon slot is a reasonable expectation. I may have misread the website at the time but I would prefer an option to click or collect that knocked a pound or two off the price.
But back to the positives. It’s the only time I’ve used a veg box service that I thought I would use again. The idea of an unusual vegetables box is a brilliant one. The vegetables were extremely fresh. I also noticed that on other boxes with fixed “menus” there is the option to swap out a couple of items. This is a brilliant option for people like me who don’t eat many potatoes. Thoroughly recommend.
