I would not recommend rentals through Frosts St Albans. Issues took time to sort during the rental but the worst was getting our deposit returned. They were fully on the landlords side, permitting charges being applied for ‘remedial works’ (a screw to hold wobbly furniture to the wall) outside of the check out report with quotes from a company that weren’t even registered on companies house and just typed up on word. We also caught them providing inaccurate information to the landlord which we called them out on and we had to go via the deposit dispute procedure which found partly in our favour. They only care about keeping the landlord happy, not being fair to tenants. Avoid.
Stuart McMillan has been an absolute star in helping to transfer property rental agreements away from a company whose new policies are not beneficial to landlords.
Poor service as a buyer through this agency. NEVER AGAIN.
Sales progressor was aggressive and bullish and frustrated the process THROUGHOUT greatly. Not a nice company to deal with
Apart from a lady called Nikki who was always professional and helpful. SellIng Agent was absent and never called or made any effort to support purchase , clearly money orientated , not customer focused. Sales progession team horrid and cutthroat stalling matters . Such a poor experience would absolutely NOT Recommend. Lots of Sales calls from insurance and grossly overpaid for identification checks which you have to pay through them passing details on. Whole thing ws a rip off. Will not do business with this agency ever again. Makes perfect sense that their rating is so low on TP.
Six months and still waiting to receive my deposit back. Absolutely disgraceful. nice staff at branch level but terrible at Head office level for financial matters.
Absolutely horrific letting agents. In renting with frosts (unfortunately) for 2 years, they made everything as difficult and disorganised as possible. They are organising some kind of scam with the company they use for checkout inventories Butterworth Estates- they will find any way imaginable to make deductions from your deposit and bend deposit rules to suit them. The staff seem to have a few brain cells between them and the only one with a bit of sense is Emily. Wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

I was assisted by Sameera, who helped me with everything and always supported me in finding the right house for me and my family.

When you are woking two jobs and paying a lot of your wages for such a small rental you dont expect to have to deal with a,
Broken freezer,broken oven door ,mould all over ceiling in bathroom . All concealed when viewing the property .they then have the cheek to say they are keeping your deposit .what a joke .
So the facts:
* inconsistent advice about price
* very poor brochure. Pictures missing, and those published sellers photographs when they had been explicitly asked not to do this
* inaccurate floor plan, a whole room was missed off the plan!
* no feedback on enquiries, visits or their marketing strategy or activities.
Extremely poor professional conduct.

Frosts managed 10 properties for our company. We have now removed them as our Agent. We are making a FORMAL COMPLAINT through their complaints procedure, The Ombudsmen and taking legal action for A VERY POOR SERVICE & Liable. We hold an EXCELLENT TRUSTPILOT RATING Frosts have 33% ONE STAR. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Frosts Purley were on time and on the ball for all the communications and had a real personal touch in the process, thanks for making a challenging time so much easier , well done !

Our special thanks to Sheena who assisted us yesterday to find particular plants we were looking for and then going the extra mile to help us right through to checkout.
This company is absolutely annoying. The landlords have already asked for the highest possible price, and this company listed the property at that price, letting it go to the highest bidder, thereby undermining the market for their own benefit. The way they make money for their family is absolutely disgusting.
For instance the landlords ask £1500 per month for 1Bedroom flat and these guys push the viewer to go for offer even more than £1700 Per month
Frosts are very good for property rental - utterly useless on the sales side.
Frosts agents st albans handled the letting of our property for several years but failed to let us know when the tenant was leaving therefore leaving us with a shortfall of six weeks - very unprofessional - and then told us that the price was too high and it was all our fast even though they set the rent in the market ..then backtracked and even passed us on to another office in marshalswycke .. very unprofessional & very cutthroat do not trust this people cost us nearly £1000 .
