I’ve had a few things from freshly fermented. The products are great and the customer service can’t be faulted.

I was given a Jun Tea scoby for Christmas - my daughter has the most wonderfully thoughtful boyfriend! - investigated further & bought myself a Langfil yogurt starter to try. It arrived promptly, I followed the simple instructions on the website & it's great; although they recommend it as a drinking yogurt, strained, it makes a lovely Labneh-type cream cheese, without the need to use any energy or fiddle about with temperatures. I've used the whey to make spelt/buckwheat pancakes, which went down very well - all eaten on the first pass! Currently on my 4th batch & it just seems to get better, the only problem has been our cats trying to steal it!
Not quite sure whether I like Jun Tea; currently experimenting with tastes on the secondary ferment, but it certainly "works" & is a lot nicer than some of the regular kombucha scobies I've tried lately, which all produced an unpleasantly tart brew. Great to see a UK company offering many different ferment starters, good service & plenty of relevant information too. Will be trying others as soon as time, space & available equipment allow.

I purchased the A-fil starter culture, which makes the Swedish soured milk/yogurt product, Filmjölk (with the added probiotic (Lactobacillus acidophilus) and I love it! Easy to follow online instructions and I have made it a couple of times now, and it’s setting well (thick). I now have my own homemade Filmjölk for breakfast and yogurt recipes everyday.

Arrived in time, instructions online were clear and honest. Took me 2 48hr goes with 250mls fresh milk each time, then the next one was good to consume. Not super tangy so have been able to drink it/use it with my linseed and fruit for breakfast since! Great!

The kefir grains arrived in really good time.
I actually didn't get round to using them for several weeks so was really happy when I found out they are working beautifully.
I'm using raw milk and have done a few really small batches to liven them up and they are now making the most gorgeous fizzy and sour kefir.
I'd love to try the sour cream starter to ❤️

Best price for the product and even managed to deliver despite my putting the wrong post code. Only reason not five stars is because it arrived way after christmas (literally last week in fact) which according to your notification was likely to have been a logistical (rather than post code related) error.

I purchased water kefir grains from Freshly Fermented. They arrived 3 days later in a hermetic sachet. I started to make water and fruit kefir using them. It took 2 weeks to get a reasonable taste as the grains recovered and the recipe was adjusted. The grains have been growing. I am quite happy with the purchase.
