Unfair Policy and Poor Customer Service

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Freddy UK. I returned an item that I originally paid £64.26 for, but instead of a proper refund, I was only offered £57.26 in store credit due to a discount policy. However, I never even received that store credit.
On top of that, Klarna later charged me £71.40, which is more than I originally paid. This means I’ve lost money and received nothing in return.
This whole process feels unfair and very poorly handled. Customer service has not been helpful in resolving the issue, and I’ve been left without a refund or store credit.
I would not recommend buying from Freddy UK, especially if you might need to return an item.

So I love Freddy Jeans and I have…

So I love Freddy Jeans and I have purchased around 20 pairs but if I’m honest I don’t like Freddy Store T&Cs . Free shipping over £130, that’s not too bad as most products are way over that anyway. My orders have always arrived in a few days so I can’t fault that. You offer Free returns.. only it’s not really as you charge a £7 handling fee even if you exchange! Then if you do want a refund it seems to get put on a gift card. Another annoying factor is you don’t provide a QR code so you have to print your own returns label! Summary.. If the return/refund process was simple and ‘really’ free like many retailers, especially given the cost of your products you would most definitely be 5*

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. I made a return and it was returned to a giftcard instead of my original form of payment. Will have to initiate a claim with my bank. Do not shop here. The pants are cheap looking and not flattering. They will not respond to your emails or customer service chats.

Cancelled order ignored, refund withheld!

Ordered two items (Order #28807) and paid via PayPal. After a long delay, the company confirmed the order was unfulfilled and had not shipped. I requested a full cancellation and refund the same day.

Despite acknowledging my cancellation, they later claimed one item was out of stock and tried to push store credit or substitutions. I clearly refused and asked for a refund.

The next day, they shipped one item anyway, after the cancellation request. I kept that item to avoid further hassle, but requested a refund for the second item that was never shipped.

Weeks later, no refund, no confirmation, and they stopped responding entirely. I had to escalate the issue via PayPal.

Poor fulfilment, poor communication, and refunds only seem to happen when forced. Shop elsewhere unless you enjoy chasing your own money. Also overpriced for what it is! NEVER AGAIN!

I have two pairs of Freddy jeans which I got in the sale and were still v expensive. They didn’t fit well on my legs and were too baggy, I asked to send them back and was told that I could only get a credit note (their jeans don’t suit me so a credit note is useless)
Not happy with the fit of the trousers and not happy with this company. I would not recommend

Our return policy, including sale and final sale conditions, is clearly outlined on our website prior to purchase so customers can make an informed decision. We also want to share that when an item is eligible for a credit note rather than a refund, it usually means the product was purchased at a heavily discounted price, in your case, the order was placed at 50% off. Many brands do not accept returns at all on deep sale items, however we do our best to offer some flexibility where possible.

We completely understand that fit is very personal and can vary depending on body proportions and individual preferences. We respect your opinion and we’re truly sorry that these particular pairs didn’t suit you.

Terrible quality worse customer service

I have bought 4 pairs of jeans off Freddy’s.
They are extremely expensive and for that kind of money you would expect quality.
The first pair I got, soon had a hole in the jeans. As I did not follow the washing instructions on this one I blamed myself and bought another 3 pairs.
I washed these inside out (rarely washed them or wore them) in cold water with hand wash powder, and dried them hanging up. Even still 1 pair got a hole in the jeans.
What’s worse is I complained to the company who have blatantly ignored me despite following up multiple times.
For the price and the hassle of the care, don’t buy these jeans!
Also it wouldn’t kill someone to reply to your complaint message or messages.

The transaction was completed with a different Freddy retailer in Europe. Freddy operates through multiple authorised distributors, and unfortunately this particular order did not originate from our store.

While we’re unable to access or manage orders placed with other Freddy retailers, we do take feedback like yours seriously. We’ve shared this internally with our management team so the relevant distributor can be made aware.

Very poor service on returned goods

Ordered some pants just before Christmas, they were too big so I returned them on 12/12/25. Still no refund on the 5th January. I have raised a query and the response is you asked for a credit note which was sent to your email. I asked for a full refund, well I say full I remember quite a bit was taken for the return. I should have received £107 back from £119 paid. As it stands I have no pants, no credit note in my email and no refund. Do not shop at this company, they will take your money and you will have nothing to show for it. I would give 0 stars but that is not an option. To the Freddy Team do better with your customers, your products are not cheap and it seems like you are being underhand and are not up front on any way.

I have lost faith in this company after many years of supporting/purchasing from them. Delivery was not within the time frame I paid for and impossible to receive a refund for a returned product.

My partner ordered me £319 worth of…

My partner ordered me £319 worth of jeans, he ordered on 21/11/2025 & gave to me on 13/12/2025, unfortunately the jeans were too big & I contacted ‘Freddy’ to be told about the 14 day window & that they can’t be exchanged! So I’m now stuck with 3 pairs of jeans that don’t fit me & looking at the other reviews on here, I think they should shut up shop as they treat their customers like ‘shit!’

Does not comply with statutory rights for refunds!

The Freddy jeans shorts are not according to their size chart on the website, they are extremely small and very bad quality for that price. I usually buy a small in the long Freddy jeans and a large in the shorts didn’t fit. I measured the shorts according the size chart which proved sizing was way off. I have been back and forth for weeks with their customer service trying to get a refund for these shorts which is according to my statutory rights in this circumstance. Freddy jeans UK have not taken any accountability and have made this process extremely frustrating and difficult. Still no resolution and sitting with pants I cannot exchange! Very disappointing for the price you pay!

I must have about 30 pairs of Freddie’s…

I must have about 30 pairs of Freddie’s jeans & all the other paraphernalia they sell.
Barely ever returned anything.
So when I got a faulty pair what a hullabaloo they caused me jumping through hoops to get an exchange.
Finally after making everything as difficult as possible I get the ok.
But a store credit !!!!!
Then I order some tops lying in my basket & I didn’t realise one was a medium. I wanted large.
I emailed immediately then a further few times but they still sent the mistaken order.
No point trying to return as they want £7 to restock.
I’ve lost faith with Freddy’s
I also read you can switch your points into one account I asked to do that
Daisy who reply first & always understands what your trying to do.
Then you get Desiree who is the epitome of how not to be if you work in customer services.
Your messages are not understood at all & it seems like she’s just interested in getting your back up & ignoring all UK selling regulations on many counts.

Update Everything with Freddy’s is all good again,all well & sorted issues.

Online photos deceiving and poor service

Not only were the trousers cut absolutely nothing like the photos - super super baggy round the legs - I have also been waiting over 3 weeks for acknowledgement of the return and a refund. Awful product for the money, and awful service

Beware!!

Beware! I ordered two pairs in the sale which was still a significant amount of money. Neither pair fitted so went to return to discover that store credit was the only option. I don’t want another pair that doesn’t fit I want my money back. Consumer rights state that a full refund must be given even if it’s in the sale if it doesn’t fit. What Freddy are doing is illegal and I’ll be taking it further.

honestly the leather leggings are like no other.

The product is like no other leather leggings out there, they are a thick material very very well made, as soon as you take them out of the bag you will realise why they cost more than others! amazing product!

I have just bought 5 pairs from Freddy Store.co.uk rather than Freddy Clothing.co.uk and I must say I am well impressed... used to be a big H&C fan as they have really good equestrian trousers... but these amazind jeans, from leather, denim and sports have them all and love them.

SCAM COMPANY PLEASE READ REFUND POLICY BEFORE PURCHASE

I bought a pair of faux leather trousers. When received they did not look the same colour as on the website and the fit was not right. When I started the refund, the website said I was not entitled to it. Having read the refund policy there are various levels of refunds and exchanges you are entitled depending on how much the clothes are discounted. I do not see how you can refuse to refund, exchange or even provide a store credit note on items you are selling online. The fit is not always guaranteed and in this instance the product looked different. I have emailed the company with no response. They scam people in this way.
