Sold tickets fine
Sold tickets fine. Getting paid? Still waiting 45 days later.
AVOID if you're planning to actually withdraw your money. Our first event sold tickets, the platform worked fine for that part. The moment we tried to withdraw the funds, everything changed.
Timeline of what actually happened:
- 25 July: Event held, withdrawal requested the same night (21:47)
- ~29 July: Told the account was under "verification," 48–72 hours estimated
- 30 July: Told instead it was now a "finance and legal review," no timeframe given
- 31 July: Wrote on the live chat, no response for days.
- 3 August: Sent a formal written complaint after repeated silence, 9 days overdue by this point
- 5 August: Finally got a reply — now told it's a "Risk and Fraud" investigation, still no date
- 5 August (again): Asked directly for a concrete date; still not provided
Continue to contact them several times every week and they always reply the same, "Our internal team is reviewing the case, we will contact you..." never contacted or updated.
*Opened a case on OCU 2 weeks ago, and they didn't reply yet..
That's at least 20 separate follow-ups across email and live chat, several of which went completely unanswered for multiple days at a time, just to get vague, shifting explanations with no real information.
This is not a minor inconvenience. This is real revenue we need to pay suppliers and staff, held already for 45+ days with no explanation, no accountability, and no timeline, despite constant follow-up on our end. If you're a new organizer considering this platform for a real event with real money on the line, know that your payout can be frozen indefinitely with shifting justifications, and getting any answer at all requires relentless pressure.
