I received a damaged item and contacted the company on 19/12. On the 21st, a new order was created. On the 22nd, I was told they were out of stock and new stock was due mid-January (although this seemed vague). I checked the website and it said mid-February. There was nothing else I wanted so asked for a refund and returns label on 23/12. Communication seemed reasonably fast at first but my last text was ignored until the 29th (despite it being marked as ‘read’). I just wanted a returns label. It would have taken moments to make me feel valued as a customer. After the festive season (on the 29th), I was told that the refund would be made once the return was ‘live’. I sent it back the very next day (expecting this would trigger it as ‘live’) and waited for the refund…and waited and waited. Eventually, I received an email on 5/1 saying they had got the item back and to expect a refund within 14 days. I dutifully checked my bank balance, daily, waiting for the money so I could purchase the same item elsewhere…and I carried on waiting. On the 9/1, I got another email saying that the money had been refunded…and to expect it within 10 days. And, yes, this does total 14 days but it felt unduly prolonged. I received it on 12/1…a mere 3 days later. I appreciate that they were probably very busy, due to Christmas, but I really feel this could have been handled better.

Brilliant service. Ordered some maleig mice for my daughter and made a mistake when ordering. I emailed and it was all rectified quickly and shipped same day and beautifully wrapped saving me a job 😂 Amazing service!
I have had a disappointing experience with the company. I wouldn't recommend.
I ordered some ceramic cups which say they are microwave save, dishwasher safe but if you have any sort of warm drink in there (e.g. coffee/tea) they are too hot to hold, which makes them almost unusable as ceramic mugs go.
I contacted the team about this and 7 days later I have had zero response.

I had a very disappointing experience with Folk Interiors. After placing an order and paying in full (including a $68 shipping fee) they attempted to charge me additional $24 of shipping costs days later.
This request came days after the purchase was confirmed, which is highly unprofessional.
I refused the added charge and had to send multiple emails over more than a week just to receive a refund and a clear answer on the status of my order.
Their communication was slow and evasive, and the entire situation felt disorganized and dismissive.
Being a small business should never be an excuse for poor service. I won’t be ordering from them again, and I would strongly caution others to think twice before doing so.

The "Made in our UK studio" Nordic Sand Olive Bowl came with a "Made in China" stamp. If I wanted to support Chinese manufacturing, I’d just order from AliExpress! I’m glad I didn’t buy more plates from there.
The Oak Leaf Napkin Rings weren’t as bright as they appeared on the website, but overall they matched the photos.
One out of the four 70s Ceramics Spoons was ugly shaped and painted—it clearly didn’t go through any quality check! Don’t buy
Folk Interiors stock a gorgeous range of homeware, but I likely wouldn’t shop with them again due to having to pay for a return on unused items.
The bowls I bought were sent back in the exact same condition, and given that most companies offer free returns, I’d be more inclined to shop elsewhere in future.
Placed an order on the 28th of December and when I hadn’t received any updates by the 5th of January, I emailed them. Three days later and still without any contact from them, I called the online customer service line during working hours. No response again so I left a message with all my details. Still no answer. Today, on the 10th of January they sent me a half-apologetic email saying that my item is out of stock. Avoid!
First time ordering through this company - very smooth experience. Website easy to navigate and place my order. Delivery was prompt and item was carefully packaged. Will order from them again.
I purchased a lovely-looking and unusual butter dish from this company just last month. Initially I loved the item, and gave it a fabulous review - after being sent a number of persistent emails by the company to rate this item. Unfortunately, one month on, I am really disappointed with the product. It is not durable enough for daily use, and very easily scraped. The paintwork is coming off. I will not purchase anything again from this company on that basis and would not recommend them.
Submitted an order on a Friday night and realised I'd chosen the wrong item, emailed 3 times and also left a voicemail. Thankfully I wasn't blocked for spamming and my order was updated and dispatched quickly. Have since made two more orders and both arrived promptly.
Made an order with arrive very fast. It was so beautifully wrapped! I didn’t want to open it. Arrived in perfect condition and the home made touches and notes made it a very special order. I will definitely be buying again from this website purely from the thought and effort that goes into their packages. Great website with lots of gorgeous items, especially wooden toys.

There were some issues with my order. They were due to a third party delivery company, and completely outside the control of Folk Interiors.
It’s a fact of life that sometimes things won’t always go smoothly, but the way Folk Interiors responded when they did not, means I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
Katy was gracious, proactive, engaged (and perhaps most reassuringly, responsive throughout) in resolving these issues satisfactorily.
The furniture we ordered was beautiful and well priced.
My goods came within days of ordering and arrived in perfect condition. Will not hesitate to use them again :)
I ordered some Liewood items for my son which when they arrived, looked incredibly different from those on the website. I returned my order in late November and am still waiting for a response from their customer service about when I can expect a refund. All of my emails have so far gone unanswered.
Purchased the Victorian Dollshouse by Plantoys for my daughters Christmas present and it arrived with a crack down the roof. This 'luxury' dolls house retailing for £300 could not be further from a luxury product. Apart from the damaged roof, the overall quality of the product is atrocious. The screws and allen key wore down immediately, and it was simply impossible to construct. Does Folk Interiors not quality control their products? My daughter now won't receive the beautiful dolls house we wanted her to have for Christmas. I'm incredibly disappointed, and shocked at the poor quality of this expensive item.
I recently ordered several items as a gift. Despite spending quite a lot of money, I was then charged additionally for 'express' postage. A week later my order still hadn't been dispatched, until I contacted them & was told it would be sent out next day and arrive in 24 hours. It arrived 6 days later and too late to be gifted, so just decided to keep for myself. Then noticed some damage to one of the item's... Have sent several messages over a week long period requesting a replacement, all have gone unanswered. Yes it's a busy time of year for all retailers, but I don't accept that as an excuse for poor service and ignoring customers emails. Very disappointing experience and won't shop here again.
