Cute but very expensive on the long run
I got this carboniser because the aesthetics fit the kitchen and the design is super cute. You get what you paid for, don't expect a super fancy machine. The red color is super bold, and I really love how it looks. That being said, we're very disappointed with the amount of carbonated water you can get. They say you can get up to 75 liter of sparkling water (yes I know, never trust marketing claims), but this is absolutely not the case. We followed the instructions booklet and the info provided to us by email, but we barely get 40 liters out of one canister. They keep responding with the "it's up to" comment but that it's absolutely not the case. We only press once, it's not leaking and we didn't change anything in the settings. You can't insert the Sodastream canisters or any other brand in the machine so you have to keep buying the canisters from them.
Long story short: it's very expensive to keep buying the canisters, the initial pay is way lower than for a Sodastream/Aarke/Smeg but you will end up paying a lot more in canisters.

The advertised yield of up to 75 litres is based on a lighter level of carbonation. The actual number of litres produced can vary depending on the carbonation level, as stronger carbonation requires more CO2 and therefore reduces the total yield from each cylinder.
From your description, it sounds like you have been using the machine carefully. However, CO2 consumption also depends on how long the carbonation button is pressed. Even with only one press, a slightly longer press can release more CO2, resulting in stronger carbonation but fewer litres overall.
As a general reference, mild carbonation typically requires approximately 3–7 grams of CO2 per litre, with around 6 grams per litre as an average. With a 450 g CO2 cylinder, this corresponds to approximately 75 litres of lightly carbonated water.
The yield you experienced of approximately 40–45 litres can therefore be consistent with a stronger level of carbonation.
To get closer to the maximum possible yield, we recommend trying a shorter press of the carbonation button and gradually adjusting it until you reach your preferred level of fizz. This can help you find the right balance between carbonation strength and cylinder usage.
