Fix Auto UK - Fix Auto Derby Omdömen 80

Poor company. Poor communication. Avoid like the plague! If admiral recommends this company REFUSE! Shame I can't post the supposed repairs! I'm no mechanic so god knows what's going on underneath but looking at the quality of the panel work and all the scratches misalignment of panels etc I feel unsafe using my vehicle.

Where do I start.
Fix Auto Derby's work, communication and Aftercare is absolutely shocking use at your own PERIL!!!!
They had 2 attempts to fix my Ford Puma. (Only a few Months old at the time)
Now after finally going through the official ombudsman the work has now been rectified PROPERLY!!! (At main dealer)
Fix Auto Derby, broke everything that I took off the vehicle and didn't even seem interested or bothered.
The Manager didn't reply to any of my emails or calls, I even want In person, to be told he was off sick.
The first time I took the car back because to work was done to a very poor standard.
Paint wasn't the right colour after painting, gaps in the panels were all over the place and the plastic trim's were broken,stretched and chipped.
Also it looked like when they tried to take the trim pieces on and off the vehicle, it was done with a screwdriver.
There was Over spray all over the car and wheels.
The workshop manager went through the issues with me
and said take your time because we don't want to do the work again.
The guy was cocky and arrogant and definitely shouldn't be a manger.
I even sucked his teeth at me
I AM VERY SORRY...to inconvenience you, but if you did the job right in the first place there would of been no need to bring the car back.
Try being a little more helpful and respectful and maybe apologise for substandard work.
The car was virtually brand new, I could of cried, to the state they left my new car in.
The workshop manager seemed to think it was okay for the car to be given back to me like that.
So after the second attempt,
Which was worse than the Frist attempt.
After 2 vehicle appraisals done at home and getting the official ombudsman involved.
The work has been done to a very high standard.
Also i was awarded compensation for all the missing about and poor service.
Before they say it wasn't them it was most certainly
FIX AUTO DERBY.
Or that I signed off the work. If you think that it's a good way to run your business and treat people in that manner,
Sorry that's Absolutely Shocking!!!!
The time scale accident happened September 2022 and finally got back finished
July 2023.

Even, Still after all the stress and hassle caused and completely bodging my car, Not Once but twice.
I Can't believe you have the audacity to say you don't agree with all points raised.
If the work was done correctly, why would it need to be redone and not just that it had to be taken somewhere different to the main dealer,
to rectify all your poor workmanship.
I Think you should at least offer an apology.
Once again another fine example of how not to run a business.

I reported a road Collison accident with Admiral my insurance company on 16.3.23. Auto Fix were the chosen firm to help with his repair or not, so far, it’s taken 8 days for them to look at pictures to decide whether its repairable or not. ABSOLTELY shocking, my car is not road worthy I have no means of getting to work which they are aware of, apparently management have the pictures and are deciding if it’s a write off or not. I have to call up every time I email them to ensure they get them and action things.

My insurance company will not provide a courtesy car until they get the decision from Auto Fix!
I shall be writing similar comments for admiral too, they are happy to accept your monthly insurance premiums but waiting over a week for a decision due to two companies that clearly cannot work efficiently together is not acceptable and I've lost complete faith.

Good communication. Car picked up at time arranged. Text messages throughout with estimated date repair would be finished. Car finished a week earlier than expected and delivered back to me clean inside and out. Brilliant job. Thank you FIx Auto Derby

After having a nightmare with my own insurance company (no third party to claim off ) I was told that Fix auto would be carrying out the repairs to my Audi A6. They were in touch pretty much straight away and I dropped the car off and they provided me with a courtesy car . They had the car for almost a month which was acceptable as this was over the Christmas and New year period . Ongoing communication was good and texts were sent with Estimated completion dates. The manager of the body shop (Asian lad with a beard) was absolutely brilliant throughout and I can’t thank him enough for the work he did for me . Would highly recommend

The car was returned to me fully repaired and clean inside and out. It was delivered by a driver who was courteous, polite and friendly. The driver had contacted me to advise the expected arrival time.
The car had been at the repair centre for four weeks but apart from the initial confirmation of the car being received for repair, there was no more communication until I was advised the work was complete. Updates by text would have been appreciated in the intervening weeks.

Initially I was told the work would take 2-3 days so I said I could manage without a car for those days. I rang after three days to be told that the work hadn't even started! I then said that I would therefore need a courtesy car ony to be told that none were available. I had been without a car for 11 days when a courtesy car was eventually delivered. My car wasn't returned for 3 weeks. I was not updated during this time. When ringing the phone was often unanswered and the email address provided was invalid. A thoroughly stressful experience.

Fix-auto Derby have had the car for 2 months - had numerous text messages to say repair on track for 30/9/22. Spent all day trying to get hold of them to be told at 3pm not started repair yet and will be next week.
Took them 2 weeks to pick the car up in the first instance. Have no faith in this company now.
Will be taking my car to another garage to get the repair checked. grrrrrrr
Heavy damage - the accident was doing less than 10 miles / hr. Accident was 4 Aug - and they picked it up 18 Aug. 4 text messages to say still on track for 30 Sept when they hadn’t even started the car - my app tells me when the car is opened and I can see where it is. It was only moved into their garage from road side parking 4 Oct. This is also the first time I have heard that there was an issue getting parts. The reply from the garage is just excuses for a shoddy service and very poor communication. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Kept me informed throughout. The receptionist is absolutely lovely! Work completed looked great

Fix Auto got in touch quickly after being assigned the repair job by the insurer and gave me a date for the repair straight away. Very friendly door to door service and kept me in the loop throughout.

Customer service was helpful and pleasant. I was kept up to date on the progress of my vehicle.

Excellent customer service, finished the work a lot earlier than original completion date! I was very pleased! I would definitely use again! Merry Christmas!
