I purchased a Perlino Reformer from FitBoutique on 10 May and contacted the company on 23 May after unpacking the reformer and finding that the upholstery colour was significantly warmer and more beige than the light ivory/cream appearance presented in several of the website images that influenced my purchase.

I raised the issue immediately and provided comparison photos. Initially, I was told the colour was correct and that a return would not be accepted. During the process, I was also advised that I had dismantled the reformer, despite the fact that I had only unpacked the components as they arrived in the crate and had not unscrewed or disassembled anything.

FitBoutique later acknowledged that flash and lighting used during the photoshoot made the leather appear lighter and advised they would review the imagery to better represent the true colour moving forward. Since then, I have noticed that some of the lighter images appear to have been replaced or supplemented with darker images that more closely resemble the product I received, and a disclaimer regarding edited imagery and lighting has been added to the product page.

After several weeks of correspondence, a return was eventually offered. However, I was advised that I would need to pay $395 in return freight costs plus a 10% processing fee of $374.90, resulting in total deductions of $769.90 from my refund.

While the reformer itself appears to be well made, I have been disappointed with how this matter has been handled. My concern has never been the quality of the reformer itself, but rather the difference between the product appearance represented online and what was received, together with the lengthy and difficult process required to reach a proposed resolution.

I believe prospective customers should carefully review all product photos and videos and seek clarification regarding colour if this is an important factor in their purchasing decision.

This is my second Fitboutique reformer. I couldn't be happier. I bought the Onyx foldable and its such a smooth ride. Easy to set up too. Great communication and smooth delivery.

Before ordering the White Edition Reformer I contacted the company with a couple of questions.
A guy named Aj responded to me by email and answered my email very promptly and efficiently. He answered all my questions and his responses helped me make a decision on the one I wanted. I am very happy with the service I have received and would rate it 10/10.
I have only just ordered, so will give another review once I have received my reformer and tried it out. But I am sure it will be just what I want.

Couldn't have asked for a more seamless experience when purchasing my reformer. I needed a foldable reformer, but one that wasn't difficult to fold. What I received was perfect. Sturdy and smooth! The item arrived very quickly from interstate and being able to take advantage of the free shipping and was a huge bonus. Would absolutely recommend FitBoutique to anyone that wants a reformer for their home.

This reformer is amazing! It was delivered within 48 hours in a heavy duty box! I was worried about assembling it, but I only needed to install the leg straps. I’ve been doing reformer for the last five years and this one is even better quality. It is quite chunky when folded but that doesn’t bother me because the quality is amazing. I’ve managed to perfect closing it- I stand in the middle of the well and lift the metal bar up which allows the wheels and back half to roll smoothly. I was also worried about how it would glide over the middle fold, but it is smooth.

Service was excellent. Quick responses and very helpful fielding all my questions.

I recently purchased a reformer from FitBoutique and initially thought there was a small issue with it, so I reached out to their team. They responded very quickly and were extremely helpful and professional in trying to assist.
It actually turned out the mark I was concerned about could simply be cleaned off and wasn’t a fault at all, but I was very impressed with how promptly and seriously they handled my query. Great customer service and reassuring support throughout the process.

Extremely efficient. I received my order 2 days after I ordered. So punctual, gave me constant updates about delivery that were reliable. The delivery people were so friendly, patient and understanding. They ensured that it was kept in a safe place and without causing any inconvenience to us. In the current times, I was hesitant buying through a company with no PayPal option, after much research on the company, set up, ABN, reviews and the product I decided on the FitBoutique Ivory Reformer….I could not be happier.
The team at FitBoutique are fantastic, delivery was prompt (rural Qld), customer service is excellent, quick and friendly response’s to any enquires, and the bonus 2 months free access to classes and site is great.

The updates on the arrival time were great. Ayrah was fantastic helping me decide which reformer to choose to meet my needs. Ayrah was also fabulous post delivery, answering some questions about my reformer.

Very poor experience. Reformer dropped on driveway (inside crate, left out in the rain) with no warning and while we were home, with no attempt to bring it inside the house. Fitboutique blamed this on the delivery contractor (their contractor, not ours) and refused to return to fix the problem, just washed their hands of it unless we agreed to pay them extra.

Delivery experience was quick and seamless. The quality of my reformer is excellent, started using it right away, just like using an in-studio reformer.

Good quality reformer, but important to set expectations:

Delivery took ~2 months and required follow-up. There was no clear delivery notice or day-of notification.

The reformer arrives in a wooden crate and requires full self-unboxing using tools (e.g. screwdriver/hammer). This uses commercial-style crate pins (more typical for freight), so it’s not straightforward — you’ll need to be quite handy or have access to someone who is, plus at least 2 people to lift it out. No installation or placement service is included.

I only received unboxing instructions (e.g. removing crate pins) after reaching out to them directly, so this isn’t provided upfront.

Worth knowing in advance so you can plan accordingly.

Communication was great, delivery was quick, product is first class.

I replied to a task & was assigned that task on Airtasker by "Fit Boutique" in St Kilda, Victoria.

I was in contact with the same person and not a team of people
The task from "Fit Boutique* was to go out to Wembley, Perth in WA were they shipped a reformer & the customer was having issue or issues with it.
The customer plus myself could feel it was NOT smooth and we both could feel bumps when using the reformer.
After I spending about an hour trying to fix this issue with the reformer it was total clear it couldn't be fix,the customer showed me the passed 4 months emails and messages they had been sending " Fit Boutique" trying to get something sort out with them with no luck.

After I attended this task from Airtasker & over the next 18 days required the payment for this task to be released 3 times from "Fit Boutique"
It was never released (the payment was $100)

8 months later from when I attended this task for "Fit Boutique" I posted a review on here.

15mins after posting the above review Fit Boutique texted my phone 3 times plus called my phone 5 times all with in 30mims after this post when up.
