Really great service, put my mind at ease straight away

I’ve never used FirstVet before (thankfully!) but after my puppy swallowing a foreign object I unfortunately had to utilise it tonight. I get unlimited free consultations with my pet insurance which is amazing. I went into the app which was so easy to set up, requested a video call and got a slot within 30 minutes! A lovely vet (Dr Jeanne Visser) called me exactly on the allocated time. The call quality was great. She discussed the situation with me, asked to see my pet and gave me advice on moving forwards. She was so polite and reassuring (not always easy so late at night!). I had clinical notes sent to me via email within 30 minutes of the call. A text reminder the call was about to start. Just overall the service was AMAZING! So reassuring to have such a responsive service at your fingertips! Thankyou thankyou thankyou!

As a first time pet owner, I can't be more grateful for this service. Having the opportunity to book a vet appointment within half an hour to put a worried mind at rest without the hassle of taking my kitten to the vet is just excellent. Both vets I've spoken to were lovely, easy to chat to & extremely knowledgeable. Couldn't recommend enough!

I received an appointment within half an hour of contacting FirstVet for my poorly cat, the vet was very patient, understanding and reassuring. Taking time to listen and explain the possible issues and what the course of action was. Will definitely use their services again - absolutely excellent!

My dog Taylor was poorly and stressed. I booked a consultation with FirstVet UK. It was so helpful to get quick, expert advice in the comfort of my own home, without having to take Taylor to an emergency vet. I felt supported and re-assured and was able to wait to see Taylor's usual vet in the morning. I was told what to watch out for, in case I had to take her to be seem before morning.

I highly recommend this service very convenient and the staff are always so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable I love this service I made my call from work, so handy to have this facility.

Louise from first vet was brilliant! I’ve used first vet twice now and both times have had excellent vets and advice. Extremely reassuring, thorough and excellent communication on both occasions. Fantastic service, would recommend without hesitation.

So happy with the vet really put my mind to rest with the advice given to us.

We got an appointment at short notice when we thought our puppy had swallowed chewing gum and might get xylitol poisoning. The vert was very calm and explained the symptoms which would show if he had swallowed it. The 15 minute consultation was more than enough time to talk everything through and the vet seemed very knowledgeable. We're very grateful for this service as a first port of call when we needed to speak to a qualified very quickly, outside of our vet practice's hours.

First time use of this service and it was simple efficient and very easy to book an appointment. The consultation was professional and reassuring and would not hesitate to use in the future.

Extremely helpful and definitely put our minds at rest with having a new puppy. The online video call element is great as it’s part of our insurance and saves you have to go to the vets if you don’t have to, no wasted travelling or payments. Thank you for the advice on our puppy.
