Extremely disappointing customer service and lack of attention to detail
I am beyond disappointed with the experience I had during my recent order with Fine Awards. As an Executive Assistant who manages high-stakes projects, I chose to return to this company specifically because we were pleased with the quality of a previous award, despite that initial order having its own minor issues. I went into this process as a loyal customer looking to build a relationship, but I have never seen a company actively run the opposite direction from someone trying to give them repeat business.
After I requested a slight wording change following the first proof, the entire project entered a tailspin where each subsequent version was worse than the last. Over the course of five or six rounds of proofs, basic elements like logos suddenly disappeared and dates were repeatedly placed on the wrong lines, despite my explicit instructions and multiple attempts to be open and collaborative. I reached out to several different people on the team to get the project back on track, but my efforts were met with total indifference.
The lack of basic communication was the most jarring part of the experience. I requested a shipping address change multiple times through various channels, and not once was the request acknowledged or updated in their system. At no point did anyone on the staff apologize for the repeated oversights or the significant amount of extra work they created for me. It felt as though they were doing the bare minimum just to get the award out the door with no regard for the client’s experience or the accuracy of the final product. I will certainly be looking for a new vendor for our future recognition needs.

Overall
Overall, the experience was professional and resulted in high quality results. But even though the Awards where high quality, and the boxes were adequate for presentation. The knifes (awards) were thrown into the boxes caused a couple of hours of work for me to organize them in a was presentable. Also, several of the boxes were damaged requiring me to hold them back as extras.
Plaque
Received the wrong plaque, was for another person at another company. After no response by email, I left a review and got an immediate response. They did make and ship the correct plaque, it was just not in time for the celebration. Mistakes happen, so I appreciate that they made it right.

Everything went smoothly
Everything went smoothly, even the authorization of the work. The only comment was an error on my part. I didn't look at the size of the finished product on the website and thought this plaque would be 8-1/2 x 11 but it is 5 x 6. Looks nice though, thanks.
