Lien on our house for a loan paid off 7 years ago!
We had a FinanceIt loan in 2016 for furnace/air/water heater. We paid it off 2019 and I have the email from FinanceIt to prove it. Fast forward to 2026 and we sold our house. Our lawyers checked for liens and there's one on our house from FinanceIt. Our lawyer and I have been going in circles for two weeks with customer service email and phone line. We can't get anywhere because our email addresses changed in the last 7 years, imagine that, on an account that's paid off! There are no other ways to get through and they ignored the letter of authorization that I wrote for our lawyer that FinanceIt asked for!!! Pulling out my hair!
MY TAKE ON FINANCEIT'S REPLY: I was only able to resolve this issue because I lucked out and got a message thru to a random person at FinanceIt who took pity on me when I pleaded with him not to refer me again to your so-called customer service (shout out to Ethan). Your comment about the change in our contact information is a strawman; we had no reason to update you on our details when the loan was closed. Who would do that? The crux of it is, you have a deeply flawed "help" system that relies on a single piece of information, the email address, in order for customer to access assistance. I definitely got the feeling that your company actually works hard to ensure that customers CAN'T reach you . The main, and still unaddressed issue, is that there was still a lien on our house 8 years after a loan closed. Anyone considering a loan with FinanceIt should beware. No wonder the Better Business Bureau gives you one star.

Waste of time. Do not recommend.
Waste of time.. Do not qualify if you want to borrow a low amount or have a low credit score. Interest rate is well over 19%. I do not recommend. Recommended by my Electrical service provider Kraun who clearly does not understand how this finance company works. The Kraun customer should have the opportunity to asked questions first before applying. This was not the case in my situation. . They have been advised to have the company directly deal with customer before applying for credit. I strongly believe that only 3 out of 10 applicants qualify for loan. Today, I have paid KRAUN Electric CASH FOR MY BILL... I own nothing.... And now my credit score is affected by unethical business standards by this company that is not a well known financial services company.

Scam Artists
I am writing this on behalf of my elderly mother. She was scammed by a GTA heating and cooling company that uses FinanceIt. The original contract came in at $28K for heating cooling and tankless water heater. We then attempted to cancel the contract, and they came back to us with $12k if we paid cash. The finance documents are incomplete. It showed really great interest for the first 2 years, but once you sign it, they then show the interest for the remaining contract, in this case, would have been $16k. Now, FinanceIt is trying to take payments. The company advised us that they cancelled the agreement with FinanceIt, but they still keep trying to collect the monthly payment. They're trying to say that she owes 1 payment to cancel the contract, and they're threatening to report this to the credit bureaus. Please stay far away from FinanceIt.

Liars..
Liars... I went through a broker that hooked me up through this company when i was looking to buy a sailboat. My max budget was 500$ per mth for a loan. The broker came back and said 100k loan at 506$ per mth. So i found a boat for 67k+ the remainder of the 100k for repairs. The sales agreement i signed says 506$ per mth x 240 mth. The financial company has monthly 506$ paid bi week which is my budget. However they are taking 506$ biweekly even though i marked mthly and stated the 1st of ever mth. They are trying to stick to 1012.25$ a mth knowing full well my max budget was 500$ mthly. They have now admitted after the fact that my budget was 50k not 100k. Its just a scam to suck people into owing them money.
