The ease of converting files quickly and without a secondary source to rely on.

My daughter sends me pictures of my granddaughter in hevc and I couldn't open them. Now I can. I have only used it once so far. I will resubmit when I have used Filestar more.

Using Filestar for a while now but, unfortunately it doesn't convert my SVG of PNG files to PES anymore.

Sent them a mail but, until now, no response

They answered my mail and solved the problem! Very nice!

This company has delivered a product that makes it Super Simple to convert a Microsoft Project to a Primavera Project with literally with a drag-n-drop & 3 Clicks & done! It is truly amazing how user friendly they have made it.

Seamless, flowless from PDF to JPEG file format.

The pricing page is, at best, misleading. There are three plans, one free. The free plan includes 10 free conversions/month, both paid plans include unlimited conversions. So, when Filestar offers extra 'Consumption Credits' for $15 for 100 one is led to believe it's purchasing conversions for the free account beyond the 10/month. Unfortunately, such Credits pay for AI transactions which are transactions available ONLY to customers on PAID plans. AI transactions are nowhere to be seen in the plans' description and are defined only in a sub-page.
CONFUSED?
That's exactly how Filestar wants you to feel, while cashing-in on your confusion. It took me two USELESS $15 purchases to figure out the above, and I am a developer, professionally detail-oriented, sad trick to extract money from users, pity, because the product itself is good!

It's a Great App, helped me when i needed it the most.

Filestar proved to be a simple, no-hassle way to convert old format files from the past (initially .123 and .WK4). This is an intermittent activity so their approach was great; no nagging to buy, no complicated 'sign-up' (aka data harvesting), it just got on with it. Yes, there are some limitations, but it is free.
TBH if I needed to do any significant conversions of older formats then their licence model seems fair and good value.
And of course, what everyone wants to know, their conversions for me were excellent and accurate.

Try "Convert png to cube"...
It does nothing! Cube is 3D LUT and it contains a table.
This useless program just converts a png to some other graphic format (jpeg I suppose by the size) and RENAMES the extension to ".cube". Awesome! :))
Of course it doesn't work!

I am a newbie at machine embroidery and digitization. I really got frustrated working with the various embroidery files until I found Filestar. It does the conversions quicklu and easily and they work perfectly on my machine. This programme has opened a whole new world of embroidery possibilities to me. Thank you.

I like FileStar because as a retired, low activity computer user I can have it available at no cost for the few times when I end up in a hole needing to change the format of a file. I can see that for a business it would be an ideal 'paid for' companion.

What do I use it for? I have just printed out a transaction report from GNU Cash which sadly comes out as HTML. To analyse it I need it as a spreadsheet and Filestar can do that giving a nice clean file ready for use. It is also good for changing PDFs of CAD drawings back into CAD, provided the sender has not locked down the PDF file.

Incredibly intuitive. I needed to convert files from one type to another (JPG to PES) and the process was easy and fast. I will definitely recommend this to everyone.

Un super outil que j'utilise tous les jours. Je l 'utilise essentiellement pour convertir des fichiers mais il offre énormément de possibilités que je n'ai pas encore explorées.

It's Interface and Vast amount of options as a designer I need to convert a lot of stuff such as vectors, pdfs images, etc. In my own experience, It`s super easy to convert files in one click.
