Borsa animali free ma..100% vitello
Mi è stata regalata una borsa di questo Brand dal mio compagno
Io non vesto con capi in pelle per questioni etiche e mia personale sensibilità verso il mondo animale. Va da se che la borsa ordinata fosse in eco pelle.
Qualità a parte, che non voglio commentare ma parliamo di un brand che si vuole posizionare nella fascia media (quindi dovrebbe curare di più le proposte ecologiche), il cartellino attaccato alla borsa recita "100% pelle di vitello" causando molto imbarazzo sia lAto mio, sia per la persona che mi ha omaggiato la borsa.
Questo dimostra solo che a questo brand non frega assolutamente nulla, fuorché seguire (male) dei trend di mercato. Se volete aggredire il target animal free.....beh dovete farlo decisamente meglio. Oppure toglietelo del tutto che è meglio.

L’informazione riportata sul cartellino a cui fa riferimento è frutto di un refuso: si tratta di una label descrittiva generale del brand che, in questo caso, non è stata aggiornata correttamente sul singolo prodotto.
Ci teniamo però a chiarire un punto fondamentale: le borse in pelle riportano sempre all’interno l’etichetta obbligatoria “vera pelle”, cucita e ben visibile. L’assenza di tale etichetta è il primo e più chiaro elemento per identificare un prodotto realizzato con materiali animal free.
Desideriamo inoltre precisare che l’utilizzo di materiali animal free non è per noi un trend recente, né un’operazione di facciata. Da sempre realizziamo artigianalmente borse anche con materiali alternativi alla pelle nel nostro laboratorio di Corso Garibaldi a Milano e, negli ultimi anni, abbiamo ulteriormente ampliato la ricerca introducendo materiali bio-based e riciclati, come quelli derivati dalla buccia di mela. È una scelta coerente con la nostra storia e con il nostro modo di intendere l’artigianato.
Ci scusiamo nuovamente per l’errore nel testo del cartellino, che non rispecchia in alcun modo la reale composizione del prodotto ricevuto.
Se lo desidera, la invitiamo a contattarci in privato: saremo felici di scusarci personalmente e di fornirle tutte le informazioni dettagliate sui materiali utilizzati.
Il confronto, anche critico, è per noi un’occasione per migliorare.

I loved the Figus handbag I bought BUT…
I loved the Figus handbag I bought in Milan in July of 2024 as a birthday gift to myself. They told me they stand by their products and they will even refurbish them if needed. In October 2025, I noticed one side of the magnetic clasp which keeps the bag closed had fallen off. I reached out to them and was told, "sorry, the bag only has a 1 year warranty". They'd be willing to send me the clasp as a "gift" for postage of 9.90E. I agreed and gave over my information. Then I received another email saying the cost of shipping the small clasp would be $54 (it's the size of a coin!) and they're happy to offer me a discounted shipping cost of $35 paid via bank transfer! WHAT A HORRIBLE REPLY. NEVERAGAIN! BUYER BEWARE.
