Fathom Freediving Bali is based in the small fishing village of Amed in Bali, Indonesia, two minutes walk from beautiful Jemeluk Bay. We run freediving courses all year round. We also offer spearfishing courses and trips, Manta tours, guided tours of the Liberty shipwreck and underwater photoshoots. Our Bali freediving courses incorporate the most recent freediving science along with yoga, breath work, and meditation. Facilities include large air-conditioned classroom, open air classroom and hot/cold water showers. Anyone can freedive. Learn how to move efficiently and effortlessly through the water in a hydrodynamic way, similar to sea creatures. It is possible for beginners to reach depths of 20m on a two day course at Fathom Freedive.

Highly recommend for fun dives and courses 👏🏼

I had an awesome time taking my level one course. Fathom Freedive is a very welcoming place and the instructor was great, very clear instructions and advice when we needed it and the food provided for lunch was banging. If I had more time I would’ve loved to stay to take my level 2 course. Highly recommend 🙌🏼

You must try freediving

I am thrilled that I decided to try freediving. In just a two-day course, I gained all the information I was missing and had three valuable practice sessions in the ocean. I highly recommend taking a course with Fathom Freedive Bali.

We had a fun, easygoing dive. They were so skilled and patient as we tried out different styles. Got plenty of nice videos. Highly recommended. 🤙🏼

What an experience

I loved the entire experience at fathom freedive. The instructors were great, encouraging yet letting you go at your own pace. They kept providing feedback on how to improve and what we could do better on the next dive. The theory was very well explained and really helped in understanding our bodies and the limits we can push through. For someone who has a love hate relationship with water it really helped me push past limits and work through my fears. Would really recommend this course and fathom freedrive to anyone who wants to explore their body / mind and the ocean. Also bonus the lunch is super yummy

Had an excellent experience

Had an excellent experience with my instructors doing PADI leve 1.

If you are keen to pass the course in the 2 days I would recommend practicing a bit before ducking down and equalising so you can get to the 10m required to pass comfortably.

A special experience

Fathom Freedive is in a great location, with trees and birds all around as well as being near the beach. The teaching and personal attention made the experience special. I highly recommend it.
