First and foremost communication. An online system that works and staff in shops that are genuinely lovely.
Having just left a market competitor who's staff were completely ignorant to the presence of customers - not even a hello.
Fat face has always been a warm welcome and a pleasure to look around. The young lady who served me was open and welcoming. Thanks for a pleasant and easy visit.

Really friendly staff! I came in to exchange a dress that was brought as a present, I had my little one with me in the buggy which is never easy when you’re trying to try on clothes! But a helpful member of staff helped my husband to keep him entertained with crayons and colouring in! Then at the till, the lady who served me was equally as friendly and chatty, just an overall welcoming and nice experience, thank you!

Tunic top
Ordered a lovely tunic through click and collect. The staff were really helpful in the shop. I asked to try it on before leaving and they were really accommodating. I also asked if i needed to return the item how did i do it and again they were friendly and helpful with their advice. Thank you

Upsetting returns experience
I had an extremely unpleasant experience when returning an online item to my local store recently. The person handling the return seemed frustrated that he had to carry out the transaction.
Although I’d purchased the item on PayPal he insisted that my money had to be refunded to a linked credit/debit card. I was surprised as I always use PayPal and this had never happened to me before. Indeed one of the main advantages of using PayPal is for the immediacy it offers. When I said that I was told it was Company policy because some people use PayPal’s three month credit arrangement. When I explained that I didn’t I was totally ignored and the member of staff just ploughed steadfastly on with the transaction. I left the store feeling bullied, frustrated and a complete nuisance.
If FatFace accept PayPal for online orders then surely they should refund to PayPal?

As stated on our Returns page on the website and on your order invoice, any orders placed using Klarna or PayPal will need to be returned to us via the post. I do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Regarding your experience in store, I will of course ensure your feedback is passed on. I can see that you have since been in contact with my colleague via email and he will investigate this matter further.

Another great experience! Never have any problems with FatFace both in person and online orders! Staff were lovely and the lady who helped me while I collected an online order was so helpful and sweet.
