Daniel please can you remove your statement about me when you replied to “Pinkney” saying the fascinator was returned “in a used condition- and we’re not a free hire service”?
The fascinator WAS NOT used and of course you are not a free hire service.
I notice that your replies to one star reviews really do not demonstrate a company who respects their customers.
Surely we have a right to try on an item and if necessary return it if it is not suitable without being accused of returning it in a used condition?
After all you are an online company…

I 100% stand by what I have written as it is the truth.
The fascinator was returned to you within 11 days of receiving it, it DID NOT smell of perfume and I DID NOT wear it. As you know the labels were all attached and I suspect they can only be removed by cutting them off …
You may well have plenty of 4 or 5 star reviews and my 1 star review was not because there was an issue with the quality of the fascinator but because you have not refunded me and have accused me of wearing it and returning it used and outside of your return period - all of which is untrue.
Why should I have to accept these lies?
I am NOT paying £10 to have it returned to me.
I am now reporting your company to Trading Standards as I feel your refusal to refund me or return the item to me is against what I am entitled to expect from an online business under the Consumer Contracts Regulations Act 2013.

(For prospective customers reading this, please look at all our 5-star reviews and our overall 'Excellent' Trustpilot rating. The current review is by a customer that returned a used item and then gave us multiple 1-star reviews.)
This is now the third 1-star review you have submitted for my small family business.
To restate the facts, your order was returned in used condition (smelling of perfume) and as such isn't eligible under UK law or our returns policy for a refund.
We have outlined options for you to receive this order back - as it is your property.
But, please, submitting 3 1-star reviews for our small business for one order is incredibly unfair and damaging. Please remove at least 2 of them. It should be all three, because we've done nothing wrong.

I don't understand how someone can see a 1-star review on here and then give another 1-star review? The customer in question returned their order in used condition - we're not a free hire service.
We have far more 5-star reviews than 1-star - 30 times as many. What made you give us a 1-star review when you've never been our customer? This look fraudulent. Why didn't you give us a 5-star review based on the fact we have 30 times as many 5-star reviews? Bizarre.
