My glasses were sent out without the prescription lenses. I had uploaded my prescription.
I rang to check what had happened and was informed there was a glitch on the system.
I had to return them for which they sent a postage label and glasses reglazed and returned to me
I understand things go wrong occasionally but felt this was something that should have been checked prior to sending out.
I love my glasses and at a great price but very disappointed as a first time customer.

I am disappointed with my experience with Factory Glasses Direct.

I ordered Ray-Ban sunglasses on 8 July and received them on 14 July, which was a total of 6 days from placing the order to delivery. Although this may not seem like a long delay, my disappointment comes from the fact that there was no clear delivery timeframe provided on the website when I placed the order. I was not aware that it could take several days for the item to be processed and dispatched.

When I contacted customer service, I explained my concerns, but I did not feel the response was particularly helpful. I was told that the delay was reasonable and that I could have cancelled after receiving the dispatch email. However, by that point the order had already been processed and dispatched.

I am now returning the sunglasses and have been asked to cover the return postage cost myself. I already paid £6 for delivery and now have to pay £5 to return it. A loss of £11. I feel the process could have been handled better, especially with clearer information about expected processing and delivery times before purchase.

The sunglasses themselves were fine, but the overall customer service experience has left me disappointed. I hope the company improves its communication with customers regarding delivery expectations and returns.

Very impressive service. Replaced lenses in some existing frames to a new prescription. Very fast turnround (a few days from sending to receiving back). Excellent value compared to buying new frames and glasses.

The original courier lost the clip on sunglasses I had ordered. FGD immediately dispatched a replacement pair. Excellent service

I ordered a new pair of prescription sunglasses after my old ones broke right before a big trip. I spoke to Keith, and he promised he would do his absolute best to get them to me in time. True to his word, they arrived in just 8 days with the prescription lenses perfectly done. I am really pleased with the fantastic quality and so relieved they arrived before my holiday. Great customer service - I will definitely use them again!

Great price and exactly what I wanted. I needed to speak with customer service and they got back to me quickly especially over a bank holiday. If you want prescription designer sunglasses I fully recommend.

I had a somewhat unusual request. My existing frame from a high street retailer was already 3 years old when an arm broke. The said retailer no longer sourced the same frame. FGD had frame in stock, rang them up, paid for the frame, and posted my complete glasses.

They arrived Monday and were shipped back the same afternoon. Arrived completed and boxed with the original frame.

I didn't receive the driving glasses I paid for! Money lost!! Won't buy from you again!!!

No update on my order, no communication at all on any updates since I paid. All emails I send to them, all bounce back.

Got two pairs of glasses reglazed and the finished product was sent to me which I am very happy about the quality of my new glasses.

Varifocal glasses sent for reglazing and wasn't sure of ppd. Keith and Dave both really helpful and measurement taken from old lenses. Quick delivery, new lenses exactly as required. Very reasonable cost. The only issue I would change is notification of package received. Otherwise highly recommend.

I ordered Ray Bans something I thought was way out of my price range. Anyway I ordered them with Varifocal lenses and anti glare etc for £144. They arrived. Well they are gorgeous, in a blue frame, fit lovely, look lovely and nice and clear. Definitely recommend RB8901

They couldn’t have been more helpful , needed a clear lense put in glasses and it was done within a couple of hours. Price was very very good ,service amazing and all done with a relaxing ,friendly atmosphere.
Will certainly go back to have glasses made up in future. Choice of frames were plenty at again good prices, Well done
