Loving Fable!

Over the years, we’ve purchased a collection of Fable products: plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, mugs, etc. Our favourite of the bunch has been the glassware (especially, the wine glasses). Great quality, durable, so pretty & such a pleasant weight. We love them so much that we keep buying them as housewarming presents for our friends! Would recommend.

Great company and no complaints

Really unsure why other people have had a different experience. I’ve ordered several times from Fable (plates, glasses then a rug) and every time it’s been seamless. My most recent order was just delivered this week (March 7th 2026).

I made a mistake and entered the wrong shipping address once and the customer support team got back to me the same day to help and got it resolved right away.

I’ll definitely continue to buy from them and hope they keep releasing new products.

Order never delivered, refund only after chargeback

We ordered £100 of glassware on 29 November. The order never arrived, and despite repeated follow ups, no explanation was provided, only shifting delivery dates.

Our refund request was ignored, so we escalated via Amex and were refunded. Only then did Fable confirm they would process the refund.

Looking at other reviews saying a similar thing, I would avoid this company.

Diabolical service

Diabolical service. I actually think it’s a scam. I’m calling Amex today…

Bought some glasses that never arrived. Multiple requests for information finally provided a tracking number showing item had been delivered — but not to me!

Entered tracking number and postcode into Royal Mail tracking app and got error because that postcode and tracking number aren’t related!!

I had bought the shipping insurance protection too and so registered a loss, but that was just referred back to Fable and despite their auto-reply saying they will respond within 48 hours nobody does.

Avoid this seller.

Two months late, no delivery, no clear update

I placed my order on 30 November 2025. Since then, the dispatch date on Fable’s website has changed multiple times. The latest stated date was 30 January, which has now passed, yet the order has still not shipped and there is no confirmed dispatch date.

There has been no proactive communication about these delays. When I contacted them, I was told they could not provide a confirmed shipping timeline, and instead a small partial refund was issued, which does not resolve the situation.

After more than two months, changing timelines and vague updates are not acceptable. I would strongly encourage others to research carefully before ordering, particularly if you expect clear delivery commitments and transparent communication.

What's going on?!

We spent thousands of dollars with Fable to renew all of our dinnerware. On 2 November, 2.5 months ago, we decided to order a USD 500+ large rug from them, which was displayed as being available.

The shipment has been delayed twice and we were last informed the item would be available from mid-January. As of today, it hasn't shipped yet, and we are now being fully ghosted by their customer service when asking for an update on the situation.

Not sure what's happening with this company right now but it feels like it's falling appart... My advice to anyone else would be to stay away from it, I know we will as soon as we get our rug.

Very poor quality tall glasses.

Ordered the pro version and given the price point and positive reviews, the glasses were expected to have good quality. However, one of the glassess was scratched in less than a month without anything that caused it. It’s really disappointing and misleading because they claimed that the glasses were scratch-proof etc. The way the company dealt with it was quite questionable as well.

Won’t recommend, it’s better to source Japanese-made glasses elsewhere.

Scam company.

I bought a set of plates three weeks ago and they confirmed the wind shipped on the 28th, which never arrived. I chased them several times to understand where the order was they said it was delayed. They couldn’t give me a date. Customer support is dreadful and there’s no reliability on when they will send you the order. Quite upsetting considering I needed these plates for an event.
Stay away of this company.

Fragile glasses, no replacements

I bought Fable’s tall glasses in 2023, and two of the four have already broken under completely normal use (one even cracked while I was just adding ice). For glasses at this price point, especially ones advertised as durable, I expected them to last far longer than two years.

When I contacted customer support, I was told the glasses have since been redesigned into a more durable “Pro” version, but they still wouldn’t send replacements for the earlier, less durable version I received. The new design may be better, but my experience suggests that if you happen to get a flawed version of their product, the company won’t do much to make it right.

I also submitted this review through Fable’s own website, but it never appeared. Based on what I’m seeing here on Trustpilot, I suspect other customers’ less-than-positive reviews may not be making it through their internal moderation process either.

Because of all this, I can’t recommend the glasses or the company.

false advertising. no warranty

I bought Fable’s short and tall glasses in late 2024 believing they came with a lifetime breakage warranty, something that was highlighted when I made the purchase. After two broke in the dishwasher, I contacted support expecting a replacement, but was only offered 50% off. The quality and design feel great, but the shift in warranty and lack of clarity about the change are disappointing. I wish Fable would honor what customers believed they were promised.

Can’t return or exchange

I received my items, but cannot return them. There has been an error on the returns and exchanges form for nearly 3 weeks - and i cannot work out why it hasnt been fixed yet - i work in tech and something like this is usually fixed much quicker than this. I wanted to return my items to exchange for a new colour. Honestly can’t work out what is going on.

Order not shipped -

I placed an order on the 11th of January (over 6 weeks ago). It has still not been shipped. Customer service are unable to contact the warehouse so can't help. I have sent over 10 chasing emails, no actual answers have been provided.
