I love the idea. The science appears sound. However I have performed 31 tests that I thought were accurate tests, but it still says results are too inconsistent. AND THEY REALLY DO LOOK INCONSISTENT. And especially the last 10 or 12 tests I did I thought went real well. I am an engineer and understand how things work, and how to best perform them. Could the device be flawed somehow. I want so badly for this to work for me.

We didn't really know what to expect from this, but our experience was awesome. One of the technicians went over our results from the test in the app and had a couple of suggestions. After following their advice we got some test glasses and they were absolutely spot on. I couldn't recommend this enough.

My EyeQue experience was a new, let's-see-what-happens-next experience and I highly recommend EyeQue. I'd read about EyeQue a while ago, thought it was a great idea; And, the last pair of glasses I bought (a few years ago), I ordered online and that went well, so I had confidence in the online experience. I researched the product (Eyeque site, articles, videos, reviews). I ordered my EyeQue scope and PDCheck frames (Personal Vision Tracker Plus) via amazon. It is a simple process, but I had to practice (hand/eye coordination!) before I took the test. (With each practice test, my test-taking skills improved.) I tested more than required and compared my results with my last prescription: Consistent. I submitted my test results. I got a follow-up email from EyeQue because while my results were consistent, I forgot to set the resolution and brightness at the recommended level (EyeQue had the readings from my phone), and recommended resetting the phone and retaking the test to ensure more accurate results; that did make a difference. Shout out to Denzel Viray with EyeQue. (Reminder: make sure your brightness and resolution are set on your phone before you take the test.) I recommend ordering the sample glasses (note: currently distance only). I also recommend getting the more up-to-date version of the scope - the scope I had, I had to change the scope positions manually, and then had to reposition me again and again. I ordered new glasses online (still getting used to a progressive lens). I like having EyeQue within reach to check-in with my eyesight when I want. Overall, a very good experience.

I'm giving four stars at the this point because I have not come full circle in the process--I'm awaiting the arrival of my try-on glasees.
There was an issue transferring my numbers, but I am the sole reason for it. I contacted customer support and the issue was resolved in a timely and courteous manner. Thus far, in spite of my determination to thwart my own efforts at every possible juncture of a streamlined process, it has been a pleasure to use Eyeque and a huge benefit to me to do this from home.

I followed the instructions and used the tools to get my vision numbers. I used those numbers to buy their recommended $19 pair of test glasses. I was excited as they arrived, however that quickly changed as I saw that the lenses did not help my vision...the prescription numbers were wrong. I threw away my EyeQue tools that I'd purchased and do not plan on buying again.

Worked very well. They walk you through the whole process. No problems. They recomend doing 3 tests for more accuracy but I did 6 tests to be safe.
I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the glasses I received in the mail will slide right off my face if I look down(got them from Zenni). So I assume it was a problem with the plastic frames that measure your pupilary distance? Or was it Zenni? Don't know.
Otherwise the glasses I received work great.

I have difficulty reaching support/ finding live chat to enquire on Serial Number for VisionCheck which I received but the packaging was accidentally discarded by someone else.

Insight has defect in lense. Still awaiting replacement for that and the visioncheck will not recharge after one use. Waste of money and won't suggest to others. I've actually steered people away do to poor quality and customer service.
Update: After writing this review, a custom service representative reached out and got me a new kit.

I love the idea of the product, but couldn't use it right now as my eyes are a mess after cataract surgery. Can't focus properly. Returned and received prompt refund.

This actually works. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because it’s not an easy process to get your numbers correct. You need to do the test multiple times as it averages out the results to assure they’re correct. It’s quite a time consuming process. It however worked very well for me. My glasses were damaged and I couldn’t get an appointment for an exam for almost six months. I would still recommend an exam by a professional as there are many other eye issues besides your vision. But this device will give you a good “prescription “ to get you going
