Exploding Bakery Omdömen

The product is good, I had good feedback from my sister in law, but the delivery was rubbish.

I didn't actually taste them as they were a gift for a hospital team who cared for me recently.
I am assured they were delicious and much appreciated as a lovely surprise. Also worth noting that the delivery was prompt, with up to date information on its progress. Communication is so important!
As I live a little away from the hospital it was great that I could order them online.
Next time I'm in Exeter I will pop in and say hello.
Many thanks for your efficient help.

I was looking for a Christmas gift for my son in law who is said to enjoy baking!
The two cake books formed the basis of a 'baking box' with the recommended pans, and various items of usefulness (my daughter enjoys cooking and they have an extensive range of cookery impedimenta), so these are some things, just for him, which will be presented in a large box on Christmas Day...
The enthusiasm of these two business owners shines through, and I can't wait to sample some of their recipes. Shame we live so far away from the Café and Bakery!

Absolutely delicious brownies delivered on time

Totally delicious. The team were great at sorting it out when no one was in to take delivery, and the brownie was amazing. Great service

Simply delicious ! Moist and so tasty . Will order again for sure !

Terrific cakes as gifts. Really recommend the letterbox brownies.

Utterly delicious, and so well packaged! The recipient has the most excellent & tasty birthday surprise!

The packaging and service was first class, best of all the strawberry cake was delicious and moorish.

Great service and delivered promptly. Delicious brownies. They freeze well too.

I ordered the strawberry sponge cake And it tasted home made and just beautiful. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition. My nephew and his family were visiting with us the next day and we all agreed it was a lovely cake and we all enjoyed it. I would recommend the exploding bakery to anyone and I will be ordering for the 3rd time soon .

My family were thrilled when I took the gorgeous chocolate fudge cake, to a family gathering.
They all wanted to have the name of the company. I think the Exploding Bakery will be getting lots of orders from Kent and London 😉

Amazing cake. Great packaging. Fast, it only took a day! You are everything you promise and more!

My purchase was sent as a "thank you" gift for friends. I knew they liked fruit flavours, so I chose the lemon and polenta letterbox cake rather than brownies. I thought EB cake would be a nice alternative to flowers. The couple were absolutely delighted, said the cake was delicicious and had eaten it all within 4 days. With hindsight, flowers maybe flowers would have lastdd lasted longer!!!!

Delivery failed. Cakes weren’t received well and rated poorly by customers. Customer service was attentive and refunded items although blame shifted to postal carrier with a sense of hey not our fault. Which is understandable but we want our product and businesses need to vet delivery carriers extremely well in order to offset issues especially with perishables. I personally wasn’t impressed with cakes I tried, no wow factor perhaps degradation with late arrival hurt the quality. I’m trying them again this week through a distributor so we’ll see how my cafe guests feel this time.

Bought as a gift for a friend. Arrived on time & they said it looked and tasted delicious!

Always a great gift idea. Delicious & reliable

Communication and delivery excellent and very much appreciated by recipients.

I ordered two cakes, coffee and walnut and lemon polenta and pistachio.
They arrived promptly and safely, Ewing very well packaged.
Both cakes were absolutely delicious, moist and moreish. Without exception they were enjoyed by all.
Without a doubt, I will be ordering more cakes in the future as the family are all keen to sample your complete range.

I've bought a few Exploding Bakery brownies as birthday presents over the last couple of months, and all have gone down a storm. Feedback has been great across the board. Keep up the good work guys.
