The streaming box doesn’t work and communication is not good. I have no idea what is happening. The box has always been very hit and miss but it hasn’t worked at all since August 26.
Taking payments …
I cancelled my subscription in February and they are still taking money off me. I have tried cancelling through the bank but it has to be cancelled by them. Keep promising refunds and then do nothing. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

They are fobbing customers off with rubbish fixes that don`t work. The boxes are not fit for purpose and we were told last night that new ones will not be sent out for 6-8 weeks. They said you can buy an Amazon firestick and pick up the app and find it on your tv that way - but at you own expense for the stick.

It’s great when it works but they need…
It’s great when it works but they need to get serious about fixing the widespread technical issues everyone seems to have - constantly buffering, channel guide not working, having to log in all the time, etc. These issues have been around for years and they don’t seem to care at all about the customer experience.
The concept itself is great - live UK and Irish TV, every channel - but if anyone else starts offering it I will drop Expst TV like a hot rock.
Doesn't work in the USA
Website claims "Cable-free live TV, Stream live, anywhere" - but when the site opens it reports "Expatprime.tv service is not available in your region!"
That's for the US. It used to work but they killed it off and it's not worked in over a year. It used to be good but now it's become a farce.

I love Expat Prime. I never have buffering problems. Picture quality is great too. Have been watching for 2 years now.

Works very well in France been using for 3 or 4 years. Love the 7 day catch-up.... Means I can fast forward through adverts.
Expatprime tv my truthful experience
I have been using expatprime tv for around 3 years now and about to possibly sign up again for 4th year.
I have quite a few issues with the service over this time mainly buffering issues which is the bain of my tv watching life. And always happens on my favourite shows But mostly it’s okay Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find anything better out there. The price tag is expensive compared to others, but offers a 7 day catch up service. An on demand video library (not very good) and the ability to record programs. And No vpn is needed. I have had no problems reaching out to there online chat service
They have been helpful with any login issues I may have had.
Although I have just found out I can no longer access expatprime tv on my iPhone. And I have no explanation for this!
Could the service be better ? Hell yeah!
But find anything better, you will be hard beat..

Issued a clear written instruction to Expat Prime two days before trial ended that I did not wish to pay €120 for service.
Shocked to see Bank of Ireland itemising it on date in my statement after I had frozen payments???? Have sought explanation from Expat Prime as to when they actually presented for payment.
I had change of mind, principally driven by what I considered to be pricing a tad beyond my budget and at a cost much greater than I paid Mucho…and lots fewer options.
No app offered and clicking on links???? Caution always on that front.
Pic quality was very good on 95% of trial.
Will revisit in Spring.

I loved the Expat Prime service here in the United States, and the live customer service chat works very well whenever i have a question about the service. Recently, the website says the service is no longer being available to customers in the USA. I wanted to watch Christmas programming from the UK on this service as i have done for the last several years and had no issues at all. It's very disappointing that this service is no longer available to people in the USA.
Works well in France

Diabolical customer service
The customer service is absolutely terrible. I haven’t had BBC for 4 months now and I’ve reported it repeatedly. I will occasionally receive an unhelpful response saying there isn’t a problem, but mostly I’m being ignored. I’ve tried to escalate the issue but it doesn’t get escalated. Ricky from the customer service team mostly seems to answer queries but never follows up or fixes the issues.

Is anyone having problems with this Co, we have had buffering for 3 nights, contacted Expatprime and told Reported it to the concerned team and waiting for an update, once it's fixed we will let you know, sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I have had expat prime for at least 3 years now and I am really happy with it. I have the box, but I mostly use it on my Amazon Fire Stick. Its nice that I can catch my favourite shows on demand if I miss them live.
NO BBC ???
Trial ended today and still waiting to hear from Customer Service re NO BBC at all!! Save yourself TIME and money and don't even try a Trial!!
Plus I asked, since no BBC which seems known issue, would they extend Trial period so could have proper trial once sorted. I was NOT offered any extension at all. I have only heard from Customer NO Service if I contacted them asking for update. Other than auto reply when logged issue no response at all. Such a shame as if works great, have watched at my brothers, it is great and simple to use. BUT, after 2 weeks of "fighting with" to get channels definitely not for me. Money better spent on streaming services that CARE and work.
