Nous confirmons à fuir ! Nous avons testé 2 PC Windows et Mac par sécurité nous étions branchés directement sur la BOX en RJ45. Tous les pré-requis s'affichaient en vert. Nous avons fait les tests tous les jours avant l'examen et 10 mn avant. Le jour du test, vérification par une opératrice de la pièce, de l'ardoise et dés le lancement de la connexion à leur serveur Proctor U perte de connexion incessante le test n'a pas pu être réalisé, 5 techniciens ont pris le relais et ont approuvé les paramétrages. Aujourd'hui, refus de reprogrammer une session au motif que votre PC n'avaient pas les pré-requis en dépit des captures écran prouvant le contraire. Nous informons la DGCCRF et UFC que choisir car apparemment nous ne sommes pas les seuls dans cette situation. Nous allons devoir repayer. à fuir !!!!
Avoid at all cost
Very bad website organisation, no possible possibility of discussion, 0 customers service and also a big waste of your money (issue with scheduling the interview but no possibility of rescheduling or reimbursement, they keep your money without delivering the service).

I registered for at home Toefl test
I registered for at home Toefl test. I had to work that day, I tried to call and reschedule and was on hold up to the point where I had to hang up and go back to work. I was listed as a no show. I called today and there was ZERO assistance. I am told I have to pay again if I want to take it. I call that really low class and having no connection to education in general. No refund available, no rescheduling available, a phone line which is “busy” and a person whose very strong Indian accent does not recommend her for customer service. I guess that’s how they pay them, with money from people whose schedule changes last moment. Thank you for nothing. Now I have to spend time describing my experience on various social media website, because if they took my money, I might as well “promote them”.
Being accused of using unauthorised applications which is ridiculous!
I took the test at home on 07 Nov 2023. This morning 09 Nov I received an email from OTI processing (which based on my research is a fraud detecting department that has been bumped billions of dollars, yet not doing a good job) saying that my test scores MIGHT not be reported because they THINK that I had unauthorised applications running while taking the test. Ridiculous! The proctor did check my computer before the test. The ONLY applications I used were ETS Browser and a Proctor program which they required. Such a waste of time and money.
They need to upgrade their system, hire tech professionals, not a whole bunch of useless people that get paid for running an old system, or don't know how to operate the system.

NOT A RESPECTABLE COMPANY
I took a TOEFL test at home. After waiting for 8 days for my results, I got the message that my scores were cancelled because I "may have received assistance", which I did not! Obviously, this is impossible for me to prove since I took the test alone, without witnesses and ETS is not willing to prove their statement (which they couldn't do anyway since I didn't cheat). No transparency, no customer support! They only want the money but do not provide the contractual service. ETS is not a respectable company and anybody with a similar experience should report their case to the FTC and FBI, because this is fraud!
Unfairly accuses test takers of…
Unfairly accuses test takers of cheating without any explanation, providing any evidence (even upon request), will not answer emails (since they document how they scam people into having to repurchase an exam administration), nor do they offer an appeal process. If you are too persistent on the phone, the employees become belligerent and threaten to ban you for a specific amount of time. My advice: Don’t waste your time and lawyer up! They run their organization like a dictatorship. You can do everything right; however, if they say you’re wrong… that’s it!
The worst online test experience ever
The worst online test experience ever. Unprofessional customer support, faulty software and a million excuses not to refund the exam that never happened. Unless you wish to waste your money and time, don't take the Home Edition test
Support refuses to help
I tried to take the at home test twice, both times it didnt work due to different reasons. When I couldnt start my second test, I was told by proctor support to contact ETS support to reschedule my test. When I did so, I was told they couldnt help me at all, even though I had proof of the proctor support telling me what to do and that a reschedule would be possible. Unfortunately, you cant talk to anyone who actually works there, its all just people in a call-center. Going to try IELTS now, maybe thats better. Really disappointing service, would never use again.
Don’t recommend.
I rescheduled a Praxis test in order to obtain a teaching license. They confirmed a successful reschedule via email and took the rescheduling fee. Today, I found out that reschedule somehow didn’t go through. I managed to get to customer service after 1 hour battle with automated phone system. They promised to call me back and follow up on the issue, but they never called back. My exam result is marked as ‘failed’. Horrible experience. Why are they still in business… what a disaster of an organization.
AVOID CUSTOMER SERVICE if you can...
People who work here are essentially incompetent and the company is always looking for a quick cash grab.
I spoke with one employee by phone who essentially told me the wrong steps for sending test scores to an organization. Then tried to talk to another representative by phone, after receiving an e-mail from the company that they had cancelled my order due to it being incorrect. The second person I spoke with had horrible reception/service to the point where I could not understand him for most of the conversation. Why?

This product is truly awful, I sat for 3 hours trying to take my exam just for them to tell me I wouldn’t be able to take it due to my laptop. DO NOT TAKE these tests at home.
Only HALF refund allowed PERIOD???
Not sure how it's legal to give a "half refund" when you've cancelled a test within 24 hours of scheduling it. I haven't received any goods or services. I'm not taking an item off your shelf. And it's not like I'm preventing the sale of another person's test reservation because I've taken up the seat for so long. Test was over 3 weeks away and I cancelled within 24 hours after finding out my University no longer requires test scores for admittance. But I only get a HALF refund? I'm sorry... what?
When A Scam Becomes Institutionalized
Absolutely atrocious. The executives of this company should be tried at the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity. Like many of the reviewers here, I too fell victim to the alleged convenience of the TOEFL online test, only to have my test scores cancelled a week later as I "may have received assistance" without any further explanation.
Called in to clarify directly and was informed by an obtuse numbskull in a condescending tone that my understanding of "assistance" may have been too narrow and that the decision was final. No recommended course of action or shred of empathy was offered.
If you are reading this, DO NOT ever hand your money over to these rapacious charlatans unless you have to. There are other options out there, however imperfect, they will indubitably be the lesser of the two evils. Trust me when I say that this company will bleed you dry and leave you only with the solace of finding solidarity with fellow victims of fraud of whom there will be no short supply.
Morally Wrong
I was scheduled to take the Praxis for my teachers license. First off, I missed the test because it was scheduled for 12:10 am which I mixed up for 12:10 pm. My fault, I own that, but I was not given any sort of notice that I was late, or that my test was starting soon. I understand it was my mixup, but if a proctor is sitting there waiting for me for an extended time and has my contact info, I should've received some notification. Also, why was midnight even an option? I called ETS when I realized the mistake and they said I had to repay the full $170 for the test because I was a no-show... How unethical can a company be to charge people for a product that they didn't even use. I asked if I could just use it as a credit for me to reschedule the test. NOPE. Not only did they not let reschedule online, but I had to call several times to get ahold of a live agent to reschedule. They said they couldn't reschedule because they hadn't received my scores yet. The live agent then read me word for word the email they sent saying I missed the test and have to call in and reschedule. Comically, I laughed because that is exactly what I was doing. They told me to call back the next day to see if the scores came in. I called the next day, nope. Then the next day after that, nope. Finally after almost a week, they said I can reschedule, but the billing department has to do it and they don't open until 11 am, so they will call me back. Do you think they called me back? no. I had to recall them the next day and finally reschedule. Horrible user experience. Prospecting teachers should not have to deal with this, let alone pay astronomical fees for these tests that they try and uncharge you the whole time to buy one set of practice questions....

Je m'étais inscrite pour passer le test du TOEFL IBT en home edition, avec cet organisme. Quelle erreur !
La veille et le jour J, j'ai vérifié bien évidemment comme il était prévu mon matériel et tout était ok.
Or le jour J, impossible de commencer le test car impossible de me connecter à un assistant proctor, qui doit vous surveiller durant le test. Une technicienne aussi agréable qu'une porte de prison, m'a contactée, pour me dire, en anglais évidemment, d'éteindre et de redémarrer mon ordinateur, mais à la fin, c'était pareil, rien ne marchait, il m'était toujours impossible de me connecter à l'assistant. Au final, elle m'a dit de contacter le support de service, qui au final n'a apporté strictement aucune solution. Après plusieurs relances de mails de ma propre initiative pour demander un remboursement vu que je n'avais pas pu commencer le test, une personne de l'organisme ETS a enfin daigné me répondre pour refuser le remboursement et m'indiquait qu'ils n'étaient pas responsables de ce problème et que c'était entièrement de ma faute :))))
Depuis je tente désespérément de les relancer par mail mais aucune réponse. Ce qui ne m'étonne pas au vu des autres avis tous négatifs que j'ai pu voir aujourd'hui sur cet organisme.
En résumé, ce sont des escrocs. J'ai perdu un temps précieux et en plus de cela je n'ai même pas pu obtenir la certification. Il est inacceptable que leur service clientèle ne soit pas en mesure de résoudre rapidement ce genre de problèmes, laissant les candidats dans l'incertitude et l'inconfort. Evitez de passer vos certifications avec cet organisme.
Never do the ETS home edition tests
I did the TOEFL home edition test in may, after I finished everything I waited for one week until I saw my scores were canceled. After a few days and emails i was notified that I may have received assistance during the test(which is not the case). My scores underwent administrative review, which would take 2-4 weeks. After 5 weeks of no updates i was redirected to support, which send me an automated email that I would get a reply in 3-5business days. After 12days nothing happened.I am currently still wating.
ETS and PROCTORU 1 HOUR WAIT TIMES, NO RESPONSE WHEN CONTACTING!!
ETS outsources ProctorU to another country and not only did I wait over 40 mins to connect to proctor when I had a test scheduled for 5:50p and was still waiting to connect at 6:44p but all ProctorU says is contact ETS, and ETS is also located in the same foreign region that ProctorU is and They RARELY respond to calls or customer inquiries. THIS IS A HORRIBLE SERVICE !!! Ghetto, Ghetto, Ghetto CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! The state certification boards need to outsource SOME WHERE ELSE~!

Je ne peux qu ajouter ma propre expérience très similaire à tous les commentaires précédents.
A savoir une prise en compte scrupuleuse de tous les pré-requis techniques (que je maîtrise parfaitement) les tests préalables qui étaient concluants et le jour J, l impossibilité d avoir une prise en main sur mon PC qui a fait que ma fille n a pas pu passer son examen ( a presque 300€...). Elle a essayé d échanger via un chat avec un technicien qui au vu des réponses n était qu un robot.
Nous avons fait de multiples requêtes pour qu elle puisse repasser l examen, mais la encore un mur et toujours la même réponse ' vous n avez pas respecté les prerequis'.
Résultat elle a du repayerle même prix pour repasser l examen avec le Mac d une amie.
Je n ai jamais vu ça !! Du racket.
Sachant bien sûr qu il n y a pas le choix pour passer le toefl qui est exigé à l étranger.
