Always wanted a “proper” lightsaber, rather than a plastic replica and es sabres totally deliver on that front. I ordered a Darth Maul single sabre and was so impressed I had to get a second to create the staff and it’s awesome. Top quality products.

I bought my son a Lightsaber three years ago and the bill qualities is okay. He really likes the functions and has enjoyed using it. However, the customer service is dreadful. I contacted them recently to ask did they know why the battery was not holding its charge and cutting off after 10 seconds. What I received was a sloppy AI response and actually if a human had answered it they could’ve made some more money out of me by selling me a battery and Alan key

I have waited four weeks and 4 days the ting that i bought is still in production. With no answer about the order co2 crossguard lightsaber from es sabers

Don't buy from this company, they'll take 8 weeks to get your order shipped and when it arrives the quality is terrible. And while you are waiting for your order its handled by an auto response that keeps telling you the same thing over and over. Its not handcrafted custom lightsabers of high quality, it's 3d printed slop

Absolutely terrible customer service! I placed an order back on April 28th and just received it on June 12th. Never got any updates throughout the entire process. Noy only did I receive the lightsaber a month and a half later, but they sent me the wrong lightsaber entirely. I've been emailing them for the last three days about getting a refund and sending the lightsaber back, but they continued to argue with me and try to tell me that I received the correct item. I provided them with a screenshot of both my order receipt that shows what I ordered verses what I received. I've provided all of the information more than once now, and after received the pictures of that I sent them, they've began to ignore me. ES Sabers has the absolute worst customer service!

It is great fun. Really high quality. I’m having so much fun using it. Definitely shopping with ES sabers again!

I'm so pleased with my new Guardian - combat saber! It arrived much faster than I expected, well within two weeks. The quality is truly outstanding, and I'm thoroughly impressed. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It's definitely a fantastic start to my collection. 10/10

A quick preview if you don’t want to read the full review:
My experience with these guys was awful. Both light sabers I ordered went faulty within days. They hardly reply to emails, don’t appear to know their own products, didn’t resolve the issue, didn’t refund me after returning the products, and it took court action to get a refund.

The more detailed experience:
I purchased x2 cadet light sabers for the kids. Despite their 2 week lead time mine took around 4 weeks to arrive.

The first light saber stopped working properly within hours. Swinging it made it turn off, and it would make the clashing sound without hitting anything. The second developed the same fault within a couple of days.

I tried contacting the company and they sent troubleshooting information, however most of it wasn’t relevant to the sabers I had. During troubleshooting it would take them days to reply (4 or 5) and they often had to be chased. Eventually they just stopped replying.

I returned the sabers and told them they had 14 days to refund me. They acknowledged this, but after receiving the return I didn’t hear from them so again had to chase them. The 14 day deadline came and went with no refund or even a reply, so I gave them another 7 days to issue a refund, which was again met with no reply.

I issued them an official 14 day notice warning of court action if they didn’t refund me, surprise surprise I didn’t get the refund or even a reply.

I had to raise a claim against them in the county court. Somehow all of a sudden they managed minutes between emails, and I had my refund for the original purchase price within the hour, but I still had to chase them for the full settlement which included court fees.

Ordered a replacement blade over the Bank Holiday weekend and arrived in great time and was great quality.
Great communication over a period of closure with the Bank Holiday.
Very happy customer and would use again.

Ordered a few items from here at different times and all have turned up on time, great customer service and looking forward to buying my new lightsaber for my upcoming birthday.

My son lost the SD card from his saber and I have tried to contact them by phone, email and commented on all of there socials. Still no joy. I just want to buy a replacement. My son is ten and is heart broken his saber is broken. Its his fault but, it shouldn't be hard trying to buy a replacement SD card for the saber. Not one reply. Not a good company.

Fast shipping and awesome communication

I have mixed feelings about writing this review, as it contains both positive and negative.

However, let’s start with the positive.

As always the quality of the lightsaber is absolutely outstanding. I ordered the Vortex (or more accurately my parents ordered it as a gift for my 50th birthday which is at the end of March) and I’ve had my eye on it for quite sometime.
Honestly, it does not disappoint, it’s a stunning lightsaber, and I’m so happy to have it as part of my collection.
And the neopixel core/blade is incredible. The difference between this and my previous base lit sabers is a world apart. The blade is so bright with the neopixel, and the sounds are fantastic.
It’s heavier than the base lit models, and as I understand it from the included instructions it’s also Bluetooth controllable and adjustable for sounds and blade colours. Not that I’ve tried this yet, but even out of the box it has familiar controls on its own.
Either way, this is a beautiful addition to my collection, and definitely more of a display piece than a cosplay item.

Ok, now for the negative.
As I mentioned this was ordered for my 50th birthday, with 5 weeks until the big day.
I emailed ES Sabers to explain it was a gift for my 50th and asked that they make sure it arrived in time. This was precautionary as the website clearly states that orders are shipped within 2 weeks, or 2 to 4 weeks during busy periods.
The response I got said “ensure your order is shipped within the specified timeframe” so all well and good. Then I got a little worried, emailed again, and the response was “thrilled to help make your birthday special and will do our best to ensure your order arrives on time” which was quite reassuring, even though it had changed to do our best. By the end of the 4th week there was still no shipment, so being concerned I emailed and got the response “your order will ship next week” with the added “it takes 2-3 days from shipping” which was good enough. However, with a few days to go I still had no shipping information, so emailed again. This time the response was “will make sure to ship it as requested” but by this stage I wasn’t convinced.

I was right to doubt, after ordering 5 weeks in advance and contacting them to explain it was a gift to celebrate a milestone birthday, my birthday came and went.

So I emailed again first thing the day after my birthday with a strongly worded, but still polite, saying my parents and I weren’t happy. Strangely enough I got an immediate response apologising and assuring me it would be passed to the appropriate department. I then got another email pretty quickly, apologising for the situation and promising to chase up my order and get it to me as soon as they could. In way of an apology there was even an offer for a free gift being sent within the specified original order.

However, it still took another three and half days (emailed Monday morning, was shipped by overnight courier Wednesday and received Thursday) to receive my order, bringing the over all wait time to five and a half weeks, from the original 2-4 stated on the website.

And whilst I appreciated the gesture of the free gift included, it sadly does not make up for the fact that despite ordering 5 weeks in advance and emailing to let them know it was a gift, it did not arrive in time as promised and ruined the celebrations for my 50th as I had no main present to open on the day.

So I’m sorry ES Sabers, but as much as I appreciate the gesture of a free gift, you did fail to help me celebrate my 50th in the way I wanted to, with a special lightsaber.

Therefore, despite the quality of the lightsaber, I’m aware that I’m not the only one who’s had issues with timeframe and indeed previous orders have also pushed my patience.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend buying from ES Sabers, and despite my love of their sabers I’m afraid that this customer will not be returning.

If you want quality and don’t mind unreliable shipping times or missed deadlines for gifts, then get your sabers here. But if you want quality and reliability in shipping then this is definitely a company to avoid.

Therefore, although the product itself is worthy of 5 stars, because of my experience with shipping I give 2 stars. And 1 star is for the free gift, although given the circumstances (and I don’t want to appear ungrateful) wasn’t much a of a free gift for missing my birthday because I genuinely only cared as it was significant.
