Waste of money
I contacted Environ to help resolve a mouse infestation in my bedroom. It cost some £200 for two visits, two weeks apart.
During the first visit, the technician looked around the flat and identified some mouse poo in parts of the kitchen. He laid tracking powder and put out boxes with poison inside, the same looking poison that I had already placed around the flat and had ordered from Amazon. I explained that the reason for my call was the mouse issue in my bedroom but there was not a lot of effort made to make checks in the bedroom. He said proofing the flat would cost £450.
During the second visit, the technician checked the bait boxes and no poison had been eaten. He explained that they must be getting it from another food source, probably the flat below.
Since the second visit, the problem has dramatically worsened. I now have multiple mice in the floorboards of my room that come out every night and won't budge despite traps and poison etc, which I bought myself, not from Environ.
I contacted Environ to complain, it has now been 3.5 weeks and I have heard nothing back, and the mouse problem continues to get worse. The £200 resolved nothing.

During our initial visits, our technician identified mouse activity in your kitchen area, which is why measures were taken to address this issue by placing tracking powder and bait boxes. However, we understand your primary concern was the mouse infestation in your bedroom, and we addressed this more comprehensively.
Our technician recommended proofing as a long-term solution to prevent further mouse entry. We provided a quote for this service, but we understand it may not have been the most suitable option for you at the time as you stated that we are in a cost of living crisis.
Regarding the second visit and the lack of consumption of poison in the bait boxes, it is indeed possible that the mice were finding food elsewhere, potentially in the flat below, as suggested by our technician. Unfortunately, mouse behavior can be unpredictable, and they may adapt to avoid bait traps.
We deeply regret that the problem has escalated despite our efforts, and we understand your frustration but we have provided our recommendations which we really want to undertake. We have reviewed the reports from both visits, and they outlined the proposed measures and findings. We are also aware that our technician made efforts to communicate the possibility of the issue originating from the neighboring flat.
Regarding your complaint and lack of response, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience. This is not reflective of our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Infuriating
Infuriating. Environ originally came round over a year ago to fix a mouse problem. They identified a number of holes and filled them in. A few months back we got a new washer-dryer fitted which evidently reopened one of the holes and unsurprisingly mice returned. We therefore asked Environ to come back and do another survey - we have now had three visits and, for some reason, they continue to send out engineers that are only equipped or instructed to do a survey and cost a job, not to actually do the proofing. Continually told we will be called back and end up having the same conversation with their HQ. Have paid them £200 thus far and have to contend with mice on our kitchen surfaces - which is grim. Hopefully they'll read this and decide to actually do something.
In short, can see there are plenty of people with good experiences but don't be surprised if your case slips through the cracks and comms/service deteriorates once payment has been made (offers of free visits are pretty empty when you've already paid for a service that's done nothing).

Excellent contractor
We are using Environ Pest Control for more than 3 years now. We have close to zero issues with infestation or anything else. The property is checked on monthly basis and is free of any "uninvited guests and visitors". Once we called for some ants finding their way in to the property and this was immediately sorted our with professionalism and care. Special tanks to their engineer David!

Standards vary depending on engineer
I had 2 visits and then a proofing. The first visit was in line with my expectations: very helpful engineer, he inspected all the areas, the report was sent straight after his visit. The second visit, the other engineer did not do a deep investigation and i had to chase few days later to get my report.
I also did the proofing with Environ. The engineer was very professionnal. However:
1-there was some filling to be done on an external area. the wall was white and despote picture on the first report, he did not have silicone with the correct color. a second visit to correct was programmed 2 days later and when i called on that day, i was told it was not booked in their systems
2-after his visit, my washing machine stopped working. I am sure the engineer did his best but when I tried to reach out to Environ, apart from the T&Cs, I did not get any other answers.

mice at home
We have mice issues at home and have tried previous Pest Control companies in the past. Shaan from Environ was brilliant on his first visit. He inspected the house top to bottom and explained all his findings. Shaan was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. Now waiting on the results and further instructions
