Son unos impresentables. Procedo a denunciar ante el Centro Europeo del Consumidor de inmediato. No alquiléis aquí."

Called to reserve a car,was very specific about what was going on. One way rental and was told a debit card would pay for the car's rental. The day it was supposed to be picked up,was told a credit card was needed. Credit cards are poisonous and cash on the barrelhead no longer carries the day. It was a one way trip from Evansville Indiana to Sioux City Iowa. No funny business just a friend helping another to move closer to my hometown. If you can't deliver when the customer is very specific, well that's just pitiful service.

Rip of price for any car.....

Will use another company

This started life as a 2 star review. We were contacted the day before we were due to collect our car to be told there wasn't a car available, jeopardising the next stage of our holiday. After insisting that this was Enterprise's problem not ours they eventually booked a car from a different company. On our return home from Vancouver Island we wrote to complain. The response from Zach, the regional manager on Vancouver Island has been exemplary and has restored our faith in the company.

Very, very poor experience.

I am leaving a one star review as zero stars in not an option.

Six weeks before the required date, I reserved a car through Enterprise for a two week period, one way rental, starting in Bordeaux, France, and returning the vehicle to Nice, France.
All of the hire companies offered similar cars for similar cost for the rental period required but went with Enterprise because of locations for pick up and drop off.
Up to this point, I had received several emails confirming the reservation, how to find the Enterprise counter at the station, the usual documentation for these things.
We arrived later than the nominated time due to previous flights and connections being late.
On arrival at the Enterprise desk at Bordeaux Saint-Jean and presenting the reservation number, I was informed there was no car for me.
Inquiring why, I was told I was four hours late and the that the reservation is only held for a period of up to two hours beyond the nominated time.
It was bluntly pointed out that it was in the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
I asked for the staff member to point out the specific term to confirm this but other than repeat the same that I was more than two hours late, I got nothing.
I asked why I had not received anything to my email or phone number that the reservation had been cancelled, I got the same "you're late".
I then asked if there were any other rental options as time was now becoming an issue for onward travel commitments.
I was informed there was nothing available.
All the while the agent focused on the computer in front of her.
The final insult was the token and possibly sarcastic, "have a nice day" as I left the desk area.
Once outside, a quick search showed cars in most catagories and price points avaiable for rent from this location on Enterprise's website.
A month later and I still have not received anything indicating my reservation has been cancelled.

Ended up hiring from a rival company and the experience was very different. The staff member here went out of her way to make sure we could get on the road as soon as possible.

A quick look through other reviews indicates others have had similar experiences with this company where cars have been reserved but not delivered.

Non noleggiare mai un'auto da questa compagnia nei fine settimana o nei giorni festivi!

Avevo una prenotazione per un sabato dopo un venerdì festivo per la sede di Novara-IT. Google ha indicato che l'azienda sarebbe stata aperta sabato, il sito web dell'azienda ha indicato che sarebbe stata aperta. Sono riuscito a effettuare una prenotazione e quando sono arrivato il negozio era chiuso. Ho dovuto camminare fino all'una di notte per raggiungere la città più vicina a causa della scarsa ubicazione del negozio.
Enterprice e Locauto, dei vostri clienti non ve ne frega niente! Non c'è servizio per questo fine settimana e nei giorni festivi e nessuno si offre di aiutare!

Mi hai rovinato la vacanza!

Pendant plusieurs jours nous avons essayé de louer une voiture à la suite d’une panne de ma voiture survenue le 15 août au Pays Basque. Notre assurance avait organisé le prêt d’une voiture de location via "Enterprise rent-a-car" que l’on devait récupérer le samedi 17 à Biarritz en fin de matinée. Le samedi en début de matinée, l'agence de Biarritz nous appelait pour nous demander de ne plus venir car il n’y avait pas de voiture disponible (classique pour un week-end de 15 août...) : il fallait rappeler lundi matin l’agence de Pau (aéroport) où une voiture serait mise à notre disposition. Lundi matin on appelait donc cette agence qui nous informait qu'aucune voiture n'était disponible ce jour-là, mais confirmait "absolument" qu’une voiture serait prête pour nous le lendemain, mardi. Mardi, après une heure de route depuis notre lieu de résidence, j’arrivais à l’agence et l'employé prénommé Quentin, d'un abord peu aimable, me déclarait froidement qu’il n’y avait aucune voiture de disponible pour moi et que la réservation avait été annulée lundi ! Par qui ? Pourquoi ? Pour seule réponse, j’avais eu droit à une moue de sa part, façon de dire que ce n’était pas son problème. Quand j’avais demandé calmement et poliment à Quentin ce qu’il proposait comme solution de rechange, il ne m’avait rien répondu. Affalé sur sa chaise, il s’était contenté de regarder fixement son écran, comme si je n’existais plus. Je frappais alors mes documents posés sur le comptoir de la paume de la main pour essayer d’attirer son attention. Je précise que je suis toujours resté poli. Agacé (on le serait à moins !), mais poli. Quentin s'était alors redressé pour m'annoncer tout de go qu’il refusait de me parler, que je l’avais "publiquement humilié" (il n’y avait que lui et moi...) et qu’il refusait désormais de s’occuper de moi. Je vous rappelle que je cours en vain après une voiture de location qui m’avait été promise depuis plusieurs jours par l’entreprise qui l’emploie !
Que je sois coincé à l’aéroport avec ma femme par la faute d’une erreur de son entreprise ne l’avait pas fait changer d’attitude car "je lui avais manqué de respect"(je me demande encore comment...) Quant au respect professionnel qui m’était dû, il le piétinait allègrement. Je considère qu'il a été en-dessous de tout professionnellement et mérite d'être sanctionné. On ne traite pas ainsi un client ! Heureusement, nous avons trouvé une solution auprès d’une autre agence de location de voitures située à proximité immédiate, avec des employés très aimables et serviables. L'exact contraire de ce Quentin.

Plus jamais je ne louerai une voiture auprès de "Enterprise rent-a-car".
