These people are a nuisance. They have called numerous times even though I have asked them NOT to call me. Every time they call they use a different number. so unable to block. I have reported them. I am very concerned if they get hold of vulnerable person. Be wary of them. BE CAREFUL

Do not complete a job correctly. Now left with loads of issues. Provide a guarantee that is not worth the paper it’s written on

Just had a cold call from energy care group. The lad on the phone shall remain nameless but when I asked what it was about he heaved a big sigh and hung up.

Due to come look at the poor job they completed on insulation. Booked in 4 times no showed 3 times and cancelled the final time.

Companies like this should just hurry up and go bust

I purchased a Worcester Bosch Boiler from this company little over 7 years ago with a ten year guarantee on 0% finance deal. The install was great and the boiler has performed brilliantly until a few months ago where the heat exchanger was failing. Tried to claim on my 10yr Full P&L guarantee only to be told I only actually had a 7 year guarantee, despite having paperwork to the contrary. I attempted to contact them but was ignored so i contacted Worcester Bosh (who where brilliant) they supplied the expensive part FOC and only charged the £216 labour. As this should have been covered by the Guarantee I paid for needless to say I contacted the Finance Company who now have opened a Section 75 Consumer Credit Claim to hopefully recover some of the money I paid for a non existent guarantee.

I had an excellent experience with Energy Care at Bedford. I was slightly cautious on account of some historic bad feedback, particularly regarding boilers, but I was looking for EPS cavity wall insulation.

From my first enquiry to job completion, I was offered prompt answers to all my technical and procedural questions. As a result of my first enquiry, I proceeded to have a survey done, which confirmed my own findings, using my own endoscope, that my wall cavities were not insulated. I decided, and EC’s surveyor agreed, that EPS bead was the preferable material to use. Again, all my detailed questions were answered well during the survey.

I was offered a date for the installation which was initially too soon! However, I went for a date 3 weeks away which suited us all. The whole process was completed within the day assigned, and the inevitable dust produced from boreholes was blown away using a compressed air line. All holes in the bare brickwork were backfilled with fresh mortar so that you really cannot see where they were. (EPS bead only requires smaller and fewer holes than mineral fibre).

One extra word should be added about the technician who performed the installation. He was, as with the other staff, fully dedicated to the job, and went beyond my expectations and contractual agreement over certain aspects of the installation, most notably the care and attention given to finishing off all the holes and clearing away debris. A few pieces of the cosmetic brickwork needed removal to fit the nozzle, but these were reapplied such that no-one would notice they had ever been removed. The particular member of staff had been with the company 20 years and that experience showed in his workmanship and conversation.

Lastly, the certificate arrived a couple of weeks after the installation (Christmas came between!) together with the request for this feedback, which has given me full opportunity to assess the initial effectiveness of the process during the weather we had – wind, rain and sub-zero overnight temperatures – and I am delighted with the overall effect of the installation. Only significant time will tell if the overall saving/increased warmth will stack up to my calculated estimates, but initial results bode well!

Didnt think i would ever need to comment on these Cowboys ever again i cut my losses and accepted the catastrophe they caused just had it reinforced how diabolic they were after the storms as there are 10000s of the insulation balls reappeared almost seems impossible as the trash they left the day after thought that was as bad as it got obviously not so these have either come back out of the property or resurfaced from all around the property so more hours cleaning up again. If i thought it was worth while taking a photo and suing these Cowboys i would but the next best thing is to advise anyone else having this butcher job done and stopping them from getting more business and destroying anyone elses home i regret ever having this done to the point i will never have any other tradesmen here i should of pursued action then but seeing it again now just makes me livid Cowboys the mess will probably remain here for ever and i let them get away with that AS WITH ALL COWBOYS THEY NORMALLY FOLD AND RESURFACE UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME I BELIEVE THIS IS DNM PROPERTY MANAGEMNET LIMITED SO BEWARE

Energy Care Group responded quickly with an affordable quote and installed the bead insulation 3 days after the survey. The bungalow is 3 degrees warmer than before and condensation has vanished! I would recommend this professional and friendly team.

Well where do I start.

Treat they employees like crap. Don’t give them the money they are owed.
I would go somewhere else for loft installation cavities wall. They do half a job and not complete they work.

Absolutely shocking from start to finish. Enginners burst my water pipe. They installed the wrong type of boiler and had to pay £300 to recitfy with another company. They claim they also chemically clensed the system but four years on two enginners have said there is no way its been cleaned in ten years not to mind 4.
I had to call these engineers out to replace a burst heating exchanger and a dripping radiator ,both problems the enginners said were caused by poor installation and direty water in system. Something energycare should have done in the first place. Absolute disaster. Avoid at all costs.

Came on time friendly person done the job explained what he was doing and he left the property nice and clean when he left. Before he went he asked if we were happy how he had left the property.

It has made a big difference in how warm our house is now.

My neighbour highly recommended this company who did their cavity wall insulation and now they have done mine too. I'm very happy and pleased with the insulation. The exterior walls no longer feel ice cold. Sam from the office took great care of my order and within days the survey and insulation were done. I highly recommend this company for your cavity wall insulation.

The price was reasonable, they turned up on time and were courteous , tidy and explained the process. The work was subsequently backed up by a guarantee from their excellent administration.

From getting in touch through to installation, I could not have asked for better service. Everyone involved was polite, knew their stuff and executed the whole project with ease. A clean job throughout. No mess left for me to clear up.
