Textured basecoat
I bought the textured basecoat to blend in some failed render. It was well packaged and arrived next day as promised. Once painted over, the repaired section has blended in perfectly. I'd definitely recommend Emperor Paints and will certainly use them again.

Best masonry paint I’ve ever used.
I ordered 2 10l tubs of Emperor masonry paint and 3 5l tubs of cleaner which were delivered the next day at no extra cost. The paint was fantastic to use, went on really easily and covered really well. House now looks fantastic. The price of the paint might seem expensive at £125 for 10l but it is supposed to last a lifetime. As I spent £50 for 10l of Dulux Weather Shield 6 years ago and am having to repaint now I think it’s well worth the extra. I’ve used a few type of masonry paint in the past and Emperor is in a league of its own. Would definitely recommend with 5 stars.

Sample paint purchased is out of stock for the foreseeable.
I did quite a bit of research into exterior paints that were breathable, and Emperor paints ticked this and many boxes.
Looking through the colour chart, I opted for Rose pink (to convince my husband it'll be a great colour, and would complement the colours of our neighbours (we also ordered magnolia - the shade we have already).
Hubby loved the pink, which is huge and amazing and the tester looks fantastic on the front of our home.
When I went to put in my order, it was very disappointing to learn that this colour is out of stock (and may have been at the time of ordering the tester - I didn't check, as you can still purchase the tester) and Emperor don't know when it'll be in stock. I have asked them to let me know if it will come back in stock.
My disappointment reflects the 3 stars I have given. The paint itself applies well and I am pleased with the colour, its ashame that I can't complete this project in the colour I want. Customer service was OK on WhatsApp, though I had to ask to be notified if the paint will come back in and send an email. Though the communication was friendly and professional.
We are in limbo as we have had works completed on the front of our home and patches of render on textured walls that need painting and priming. So the dilemma is - sticking with emperor and going with Magnolia, holding out for Rose Pink or researching other brands in a similar colour........
I am very grateful for Emperors reply and refund on the tester. I wasn't expecting this and it males a difference. Thank you, Emperor 🙏

Unfortunately, whilst Rose Pink was available when your sample was ordered, it went out of stock the following week. We appreciate how disappointing this is, particularly given the time you've invested researching breathable masonry paints and selecting the right colour for your home.
As a gesture of goodwill, we have refunded the cost of your sample. Whilst we don't currently have a confirmed update for any future availability of Rose Pink, we will of course keep you updated should there be any further news regarding the colour.

Part of my shipment was damaged in transit (not that the courier told anyone). The customer service team very rapidly arranged for replacement of the missing stock.
The painters commented on how good the product was and Neighbours have already commented on how good the house looks with a new coat of paint. Recommendations have been given.

It’s the best paint for the job we have used it before and we highly recommend it this paint I wouldn’t bother with cheaper ones as you would have to keep reapplying every so often. Emperor paint is the only paint I would use
