Website is not corrct re delivery…
Despite website still saying fast and free delivery, this is not the case! After waiting 8 days I eventually got a response to say it would be at least another week ! Claim this is due to weather issues but they still choose to not mention this when taking payment. Very unhappy as I needed this urgently.
Updated information. Mattress arrived on the 10th day after ordering. By luck I was in as I had no notice of delivery and was not expecting it for another 6 days as per information from customer services.
We are now trying it out and so far it seems fine but takes a bit of getting used to as much firmer than I had expected. Slightly unsettled two nights but no aches or pains so happy with it so far

I wouldn’t recommend this company at…
I wouldn’t recommend this company at all. They advertise that in Auckland metro your mattress will be delivered within 3 days. It has now been 12 days and they can’t even get a response from their ‘carrier’ to give me an update. I would understand if there was good transparency/communication e.g we’re having to ship more into the country, this is the ETA.

Poor customer service, average mattress
My experience with Emma has not been great.
It started with me receiving the mattress and unpacking it with the provided cutter and we ended up damaging the mattress.
Additionally the mattress had a horrible smell. I could smell it in the whole house for weeks eve after washing the cover of the mattress.
Mattress itself is relatively soft. I prefer my ecosa mattress as it is firmer.
When I complaint customer service promised me a replacement mattress if I destroy the one I have. After doing so the customer service then tells me they can't give me a new mattress but they would refund me the money. It has now been over 3 months the money is still not in my account. After countless emails (since there's no number to call) I have give up hope for a new mattress or a refund.

We do apologize for the inconvenience this issue may have caused you. The mattress is dispatched directly from the factory, so it may be that it initially smells 'new' when it arrives. You do not have to worry about this though! The mattress has been certified by OEKO-TEX® and the ISO to meet the most stringent safety standards. The smell should evaporate after being kept in a ventilated room within a few days, but you can speed up the process by washing the cover of the mattress at 40°. Should the smell persist we can either do an exchange or organize the return of the mattress granted you are within your trial period. If there is anything more we can do for you please do let us know. Have a great day!

Like sleeping on a cooking element
I've never experienced such an uncomfortable mattress.
The consistency in the memory foam is everywhere on the spectrum, giving it a horrible lumpy feeling. The bed holds heat like nothing else, but not I'm a good way; it becomes exponentially hotter until it's unbearable.
I go to bed around 10 and wake up after 6, but I feel as though I'm getting around 4-5 hours sleep at the most.
My back aches, my neck is constantly stiff, I aggravated a rotator cuff injury from a single night of sleeping on my side. It took almost a month and a half of regular physio to fix. Me and my partner's relationship has deteriorated because we're so irritable from lack of sleep.
We were told the mattress would get better after time, but it's getting progressively worse

Absolutely appalling experience trying…
Absolutely appalling experience trying to purchase an Emma mattress. I ordered on the 6th January anticipating the mattress would arrive well in time for when I would need it by late January. After the initial follow up I was given a tracking number which showed the mattress had not even been dispatched until the 12 January despite an estimated 3-7 day delivery timeframe. Lots of chasing up over the next couple of weeks showed that the mattress was stuck somewhere in transit and the tracking had not updated since the 12th. As I was getting desperate Emma customer support (who were only contactable via chat with long wait times) was able to offer no solution for me. I ended up cancelling and ordering a winkl mattress (which arrived quickly and is great). Despite cancelling now almost a week ago Emma have not refunded me and are waiting for confirmation from their non responsive delivery partner before they refund.

I have found this mattress way too firm…
I have found this mattress way too firm and still wake up aching.
I have had to put a topper pad on for ome comfort which I shouldn't need to with the price of it.
It is supposed to be a medium but it's very hard.
I am 3 weeks in and am trying really hard to give it a full 6 weeks
