No appointments for weeks and months, turned off online chat, can’t connect by phone to their support team, cancelled appointments, you name it.
It was taken over and it has nosedived since.
Calls don't connect via now known as eMed app. I keep receiving messages saying my phone didn't have signal or I wasn't there to take the call. My phone has good signal and I have no issues receiving calls and video calls from other apps. I'm glad my company is finishing our contract with them by the end of this year.
Since EMed took over the service is virtually impossible to use. Hardly any GP appointments, impossible to talk to someone at customer service. It's clear that they have invested all their money into the private healthcare side, gutting the NHS services.
Do not join!
when the company was Babylon, the service was amazing. Once Emed took over, the service sharply declined with no GP appointments being available.
Does anyone know, is there any other online GP provider like this? I no longer want to deal with this company.

Its impossible to get an appointment or communicate with anyone regarding appointments. The app is mega glitchy. No appointments available full stop. No chat service. The phone line is overloaded so you can't get through.
This service is impossible to use. There is no GP available in the next 6 months. I tried contacting the number recommended on the trust pilot page in case of emergency, and I have been in the queue for 4 hours without anyone answering the call. This service is completely inaccessible – there are no GPs available to book appointments, and even if you try to contact them, no one will answer. Do not use this service; it is completely useless, and you will have no access to GP appointments.
Appalling. Could not book a simple GP appointment less than 3 weeks in advance. On the day the appointment is cancelled 25 minutes late with no notice or notification. As a result I am left without medication and in danger. No support service available whatsoever.
Went to the Canary Clinic to drop some samples off. On google and their website it says they are open until 6pm but found the clinic closed at 2.50 pm!
When I manage to talk with someone I have a good experience... but talking to someone is hard.
1. My pharmacy told me that eMed is not allowing anymore ordering prescriptions digitally and I have to call a phone number
2. In online chat in the app, when I try to get to an operator, just closes with a canned message "We are open from X to Y Monday to Friday" and that's it, no ability to contact anyone.
3. The number I was provided doesn't actually provide any option to contact regarding the issues, it keeps saying "use the app" and provides few options to reach operators.
4. I managed twice to reach someone to talk to, she's been good, but at the same time she felt largerly powerless. I've a medication running out, and I can't book an appointment to prescribe it before it runs out, and she was powerless to help. But also: I reached twice the same person, giving the impression there's only one person on the other side dealing with everyone.
In short, it seems the GP side has been completely gutted.
This service was good when it was running with the previous company, now is like I don't have a GP anymore. You can't book an appointment from app anymore, the NHS doesn't work if you are their patient and it's impossible to contact them.
What they don’t tell you is that the price of Wegovy goes up and up and up!
£299- for 1.7 mg and £359 - for 2.4 mg
The price I started on was about £130 then it went up to £229. It’s a bit of a shock when u find out as u don’t find out until u have started the treatment.

Awful. I waited a month for a GP appointment, which was supposed to be this evening. The GP had problems with her tech and couldn't hear me. Instead of taking ownership and setting me up with an urgent reschedule (or at the very least putting instructions in my appointment notes so I can take action and not wait another month), she just gave up. Now I am stuck without any help, for a time-sensitive matter. Honestly unbelievable.
eMed is a US-based company receiving NHS funding (taxpayer money) to provide the GP at Hand service (or fail to provide it, in reality). Complete scam on the British taxpayer and a disgrace to NHS patients who need help.
Worst of the worst! Ever since you took over Babylon you have I can’t get any assistance for my medical urgent needs, I will be reporting this ‘GP’ service at a higher level. Shame on you!

Multiple appointment cancelled on pretence I was not available even though I checked in online that I AM available. I have evidence of of calls being answered but no one pickup or just breathing on the out side. Reaching out to eMed is mission impossible - today spent calling three times each call over 40 mins. Tried chat and even though countdown showed 1 minute waiting time, this automatically increased to 5-10 minutes and like that for over an hour. This completely unacceptable, unprofessional especially as I expected to discuss very urgent blood tests that were bad. Emed since they took over is becoming really bad and is no where match to Babylon. No wonder so many people take private health insurance. And before you ask me - yes, my review is about EMed not Babylon or any other subsidiary. It’s EMed as a system.

Astonishingly diabolical service. Three week wait for a phone call with a gp, now followed by a 4 week wait for an in person appointment.
This is developing world stuff.
Have a word with yourselves. And stop dishing out a phone number that does not facilitate a conversation with a human.
