El Monte RV - Orlando Omdömen 

Booked a 5 day rental, paid for all of the extra insurance etc. picked it up Thursday, the RV fridge wasn’t cold, and was told it would take overnight to cool. It didn’t cool and after calling service they directed me to come back. Lost a whole day, so my 5 day trip became 4. They put me in another one after realizing they couldn’t fix it which was nice. I brought it back 20 min after 11 am and they said they would waive the late fee. Which was ok, not really a fair trade off for being charged 100 percent of the rental and insurance, only able to use it for 80% of the time losing a whole day. They didn’t offer any further adjustments so the rating reflects that. The RV was nice, class A, which was a good size and comfortable for 4 people.

I like how you say this time as for the trip I get there for a pickup and you locked up while I was at the gate then when I called the calf number they sent someone back out for the rental and by the time I got home it was too late to go that day and I still had to pay for that day also I had my own toll pass and did not want there's but was still charged for two tolls and a fee for using it and half way through the trip the fridge died and was told to get coolers that just ruined and soaked everything it seems like every time there is problems when I rent but this time was the worse I tried to contact about it and was mostley ignored and still had to pay the price Witch I feel is very bad customer service I would have think long and hard to rent again I am sorry to say

Zusätzlich bestellte Artikel wie Kaffeemaschine, Toster waren nicht im Camper, wurden aber auf Anfrage sofort ausgeliefert.
Am Camper hat alles funktioniert und war einfach von der Bedienung her.
Haben eine elektrische Herdplatte zusätzlich gekauft um im Aussenbereich zu kochen. War super, so entstand im Innenraum kein Dreck und Geruch. Daher haben wir nie im Camper gekocht. Mirkowelle hat funktioniert.

RV was great, no issues with it directly and the staff were pleasant and helpful when I interacted with them.

1 star knocked because I waited in the office for 45+ minutes after I first arrived to pick up the van, I think they had one staff member on site the whole day, corporate leadership clearly care about profits more than customer experience at their sites.

Another star knocked off during pick up, not as long a wait but still 20+ minutes after I arrived to drop off before a staff member came in to help with handover, and got some crazy excuse about the propane not being refunded because they have two companies under the same umbrella but different rules that are advertised to customers but aren’t honored. I really don’t care whether it was booked as road bear or el monte, but I care what I’m advised when I’m making a booking.

Again the RV itself was great but would it have made much difference if I had booked with cruiseamerica?

We rented a Mighty C at the end of Nov for 8 nights from the Orlando office. Despite the nice guy booking us in, the RV we were supposed to have got changed and despite our efforts to get something else, we were told that was all they had, take it or leave it. We had flown from the UK, so we took it and it was a 2023 model and not a 2025 as advertised. Apparently they have a get out in the small print of the contract for that and a whole load of other things. The bed was sideways not as pictured in all their photos as a central setup, it was uncomfortable and cramped. The toilet leaked water (fresh) I managed to fix that, the table support was broken, the kitchen shelf was broken, the water inlet leaked so the pump kept coming on, the van was dirty in the shower, sinks and floor, but as I never raised this at pick-up it was my fault. You have to buy in advance your mileage, I was ill for most of the week so we stayed in less places and did not do the miles, but no refund is possible. Overall very disappointing, you don't get the RV they advertise, it's not well maintained and if you complain they just say it's your fault. Find yourself another rental company, the negative reviews are real and the only ones to trust.

Customer service was extremely helpful and made the rental easy and no stress. Black Friday deal made this run very affordable and we will definitely do this again!
