Shame, Shame! PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED. Awful company, poor product. I was willing to send their terrible product back to China and pay the shipping myself. But they would not give me the return info. Finally, they promised they would refund 50% of what I originally paid, but that was also a lie. They have not processed that return and it has been more than a month ago. Then they just stop responding to my request for the return. This is just a front for cheap Chinese products and the company definitely does not stand behind their promises. Please do not do business with them. I'll bet their cute little opening photos of the mom and her daughter seemingly in an American clothing store is also fake. This company should be ashamed! I hope this helps so you don't have the same terrible experience.

In pictures , took weeks for delivery! I’m so upset lost $80 complete scam !!!

I bought a beautiful green knitted sweater off of this website with Woodland creatures on it. I paid $59.95 with free shipping. Tracking immediately came and showed that it was being shipped from China, but I was trying to remain hopeful ha ha. I got the item and it isn’t a knit sweater at all – it is a polyester, stiff, shiny, cheap, horrifically awful sweatshirt that the neck hole is so tiny on that I don’t think a newborn infant baby could get their head through it. I literally pulled as hard as I could and could not get it over my head. Their website claims to have a 30 day moneyback guarantee, but if you read the fine print, you will see that you have to pay for the return shipping back to China, which likely will cost more than the POS you received in the mail. I went back-and-forth with the company via email four or five times (because no phone number is available, of course — cough cough SCAM cough) — basically the company said that they would give me a partial refund and let me keep the item or I could ship the item back to China on my dime. I again showed them pictures of what they were advertising and what I got and they offered me a 70% refund and said I get to keep the item. I accused them of being a scam and threatened to blast them on the BBB and here and every social media site I ever saw them on and then filed a dispute with my credit card company. I will get my money back. So angry! Their IG says: “Chicago based since 2007” (eye roll) THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM.

I wish I read reviews before ordering from them garment was described as a sweater. It wasn’t it’s a polyester sweatshirt that looks like a plus size I did not order a plus size they refuse to refund it saying they must have the garment back. I haven’t received instructions yet on how to return it.

Do not use this company!!!Wish I had read reviews before I ordered!!! Only way to return is very expensive shipping to China, and you will want to return; very flimsy.

I bought a 'sweater' on Instagram. It is all polyester and the turtleneck won't even go over my head. It is definitely a SCAM as when you go to return - option 1 send to China with VERY high postage OR option 2 get 30% off your next purchase. I tried to explain, there will never be a next purchase. Just credit my account for 30%. Then crickets. So disappointed.

I bought the most wonderful sweater from Ellington Chicago. It arrived in great shape, but it was kind of a long wait. I was watching my tracking info and it sat with the shipping department for days before it left there. So, good stuff, but more efficient shipping might be nice.

It is the same as what everybody else is complaining about. They are not in Chicago. They are in China. You don’t know that until you get the shipping information. The item is not described correctly. It is not a sweater, but it is cheap material. The neck of the garment does not fit over my head so how am I supposed to wear this if I wanted to? I’m calling my bank first thing in the morning. Lesson learned.

Two tops advertised as “sweaters”were actually horrible printed polyester tops. I ordered size large, but the tops were enormous! I am currently awaiting return instructions by email. The tops were very expensive, but actually very cheap material and totally misrepresented in the online photo. They are NOT sweaters! Im definitely ripped off! Fingers crossed I can return. If not, they go to the homeless center where many women could fit them!

Copy all the complaints above. The "sweater" they sent was not remotely like the one pictured on the website, and when I objected to having to pay for overseas shipping to return, they said sorry charlie...er sucker. So wish I had checked this site before ordering!

The item I ordered was delivered in 2-3 weeks, and I immediately contacted Ellington to return as the fabric of the blazer was shiney and cheap. I've reached out via email (the only option available) three times with no response. This website, with all its lovely photos, is fraudulent.

Their website depicted the item I ordered as a sweater. It took a month to arrive. Any tracking button they sent in emails did not work. I did not receive a reply when I contacted them through their website. When the item finally came, it was not a sweater at all. It was not knitted. It was not the same item as depicted. It was a cheap, polyester pull over, devoid of the knitted funnel neck and cuffs and waist band featured on their website. I paid a lot of money for this item. Horrifc!

DO NOT USE! Company from China and product is cheap and doesn’t look like what’s advertised. You can not return unless you pay to have it shipped back to China.

Ellington China SCAM. Stay away from this site. The product I received is not what I ordered and the quality was extremely poor. It took forever to receive and to return you must mail back to china and hope the scam will refund. AUGGH! Hate this. Look at the photo at the top. You THINK you are ordering from Chicago. BEWARE. This sucks.

This seller is not in Chicago but based in China. Their service takes a month to deliver and will not allow customer to cancel even before package is accepted by Asian transport courier. The misrepresent and lie about account status. Do not order

Not much to say except that I was completely fooled. Their advertising is completely fraudulent. What I received is not what I ordered and I have received no response. It wasn’t a sweater… it is a turtleneck made of cheap drapery fabric, unevenly cut and is going to the goodwill store this morning. Do not buy from this company.

I ordered two sweaters from this company after seeing an ad on Facebook. Then I read the reviews and thought, "oh dear, there is money right down the can." But I was pleasantly surprised. I received numerous emails confirming my order and shipment date as well as tracking information. It took about 10 days to get to me. The quality of the sweaters was very good for the price. I am a huge shopper, mostly at high end retailers, and these sweaters were very nice!
