So happy with my purchase, went together well, instructions weren’t too complicated. It’s very good value for the money when you compare to other sellers.
Excellent communication on delivery and arrived extremely well packaged!

Rabbit hutch is great, bunny loves it, cover strong and zips to enable different openings. Information on Delivery excellent and delivered on expected day, very pleased

Have used Eggshell previously and was very pleased with the coop which lasted many years. Unfortunately I bought a replacement in April and had a few issues with it. I explained this to Eggshell and they were very helpful and have not only replaced the coop but have also sent me a run. Very impressed with the customer service. Thank you.

The chicken coop I had bought which was the XL buckingham chicken coop is absolutely amazing for my 2 bunnies! Good quality, nice and sturdy. I also bought the rainproof cover which works amazing and does a great job on keeping everything dry. My bunnies are nice and cosy inside the coop and the cover helps to keep them warm in winter. Absolutely love this product!

Inferior quality, this coop is made from soft wood with cheap fixings - if you so much as sneeze near this thing it’s falling apart.

If I’d have known how bad it would be I would have saved a couple of hundred quid and had a go at building my own

You know what... I was a little dubious about this company, reading the reviews (and having been caught out online before) but was actually really pleasantly surprised when I received my chicken coop! We bought the Fox Resistant Windsor and it arrived next day. The pictures make it look a bit bigger than the real thing, but that's the same with all of these coops and that's marketing for you, so I can't moan at that! At least they give you the actual measurements. On putting it up, the quality is a lot better than expected (and they even give you a few spare screws too!).

I spoke to CS as my email confirmation wasn't opening correctly and they got back to me straight away to confirm.

Now don't get me wrong, the hinges and screws etc aren't the best quality but for the money, you cannot complain. Considering the price of other coops that look very similar, Im very happy with what was delivered.

My only gripe is that the instructions are super hard to read but for anyone who is able to pick up a screwdriver, it's pretty self explanatory.

I wanted to post something as seeing all the other reviews, people tend to shout when there is a problem and not review something when they're happy.

So in all, I would 100% recommend!

p.s Babs, Carol, Denise and Shelly (the chickens) can't grumble either!

Bought an Eggshell Gertrude coop four weeks ago with hard earned savings. The quality is appalling! The bolts, screws and hinges are very poor quality and the wood it’s made from is very thin. A complete waste of money and such a terrible disappointment. Followed instructions to letter and we are practical people who are used to lots of DIY. I just wanted a ready made coop but wish to goodness I had saved the heartache and made our own. Please do not buy this product if you are expecting good quality.

My son purchased a Gertrude Air Potable hen house/coop from Eggshell and to say we are disappointed with the purchase would be an understatement. The quality is absolutely abysmal. I have had to use one of the roosts provided as strengthening between the 2 apexes. 2 of the supplied roasts are absolutely useless unless you want to use them for sparrows to roost on as there is no hen on this planet that could roost on them as they are about 3 inches from the wall of the coop. If only my son had checked Trustpilot before purchasing it would have saved him a lot of grief. He spent almost £300 on this useless inferior product and Eggshell should be ashamed of themselves. Be warned everybody. THIS COMPANY ARE NOTHING BUT ROBBERS.

Bought an XL Granary chicken coop and run and wish we hadn't bothered. The xl version iz basically the Granary with an extra small run screwed onto one side. The design doesnt work at all. Spoke to customer services who admitted they knew nothing about the coop and had never built one. Sent various emails and photos showing how the additional run prevented access to the egg box. Was told to swap panels over. This meant access to clean was difficult as the lid wouldnt open. Was told he would speak to the supplier but i never heard from him again. Apart from the design faults and the functionality of the coop, the quality of the coop was pretty poor too. All the brackets and catches had to be replaced with stronger ones and the wood panels are very thin. All in all, it was an abismal experience with Eggshell and i would never purchase from them again. My husband has had to alter everything to make it workable but we will probably just scrap it and he will build his own.

“Ordered the xxl rabbit hutch and rain cover. Not impressed from the start with the quality, or the service. First off, we ordered at the start of June, 2.5 weeks later, still no hutch. I called only to find out that it had been delivered and signed for at a different address. They asked if I could go and collect myself, which I attempted but locked farm drive gates prevented me from doing so. I called again and was told that another hutch will be delivered to the correct address the following day. So the next day, still no delivery, i called again, i was told it had been delivered to the correct address and signed for. It hadn't. A few days later, it was actually delivered to the correct address. Finally got the hutch after about 3.5 weeks, but no rain cover in sight. I called again, to be told that there was a problem with the deliveries and that it will be delivered the following day. The following day, still no rain cover. I called again today to be told that it will be delivered tomorrow. Shocking service for the price paid.

* Edit * the next day came and still no rain cover. Will be calling AGAIN on Monday.

Also the quality of the cage is rubbish. It has been used for a week and a half and it has been chewed to shreds. It won't be long before the cage mesh falls out and it has to be replaced altogether.

I have said I'm not happy and haven't been from the start which was quickly brushed off and no explanation given.
