great value, fast delivery, good size
Fast shipping and clear communication when it arrives. Easy to put together and spare parts provided and well labeled. As other reviewers suggested, I put a coat of creosote on each part before assembling and a second coat after and makes it look and likely last a lot longer. The ramp is very short, so made a new one. Good size for 6 big chickens and the roof bits had some extra foam type insulation which I didn't expect but helpful! I was careful to build it on a flat level surface and the pan is easily sliding in and out without a problem (I was worried about that). Also the pan can be removed from front and back which is very helpful. Great coop for the price, but expecting it will last about 3-4yrs max which is fine. Overall very happy.

Very well made, and went together easily, everything lined up and plenty of screws.
However, if you purchase the weatherproof cover there needs to be a zipped flap over the lift up coop lid,so that you can access the inside easily for cleaning.Otherwise a very good product, would recommend it.

Please measure in your garden before purchase as it’s not as big as it looks - I did do this but the run could really be taller.
Ordered on Friday delivered on Wednesday, so not necessarily next day- I did expect it on the Monday. Delivery company difficult to get hold of.
Simple to put together, pre drilled holes made it very easy. One damaged plastic cap for the coop leg but usable. Chicken wire used not really pest proof so have double proofed it myself.
Would be great if there was a roosting / wooden bar inside the run to either roost or hang things like feeders from.
Other than this happy with our purchase.

Bit disappointed with this coop
Bit disappointed with this coop. It’s not water tight and leaks where the egg box’s are. Big let down for the price of this not to be dry inside. We have to try and make it waterproof ourself so not ideal.
I would say Unless using this under cover I wouldn’t buy this coop.

Hi Sarah,
We’re really sorry to hear you’ve had this experience and that the coop hasn’t met your expectations. We completely understand how frustrating it must be to find water getting in around the egg box area.
Please could you reach out to us on 01273 978 487 so we can deal with this issue as soon as possible? It would also be helpful if you could send over a few photos or a short video showing where the water is coming in, so we can look into it properly.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we’d like to get this resolved for you as quickly as we can.
Kind regards,
Giles Holbrook

Easy to build and does a job for us…
Easy to build and does a job for us after we have moved house. One thing to bear in mind is that it’s smaller than it looks in the photos so check dimensions. It also says suitable for up to 5 chickens but I wouldn’t put more than 3 in it.
In terms delivery, that was great and building was fairly straightforward.
Overall not a bad hen house if you only want to keep 2 or 3 hens.

Thank you for your honest and balanced review—we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We’re glad to hear the delivery went smoothly and that you found the build straightforward. That’s exactly what we aim for, especially for customers setting things up after a move.
You make a very fair point regarding the size. While the house is designed to accommodate up to 5 chickens, we always recommend considering factors such as breed size and giving your hens as much space as possible for their comfort—so your suggestion of 2–3 hens is a sensible guideline for many keepers.
We’ll also take your feedback on board regarding how the size is presented in the photos, as it’s important customers can make the most informed decision before purchasing.
Thanks again for your feedback, it’s genuinely helpful both for us and for other customers considering the product.

DO NOT BUY!!
DO NOT BUY!!! Brought a chicken coop from this company and paid extra money to have the wood treated so it was weather proof. I brought this in April and it lasted 7 months until the weather started getting wet and inside the lid to the main coop is covered in mould. The wood itself is extremely cheap and thin, there is no way it has been treated as areas of it is starting to rot from the rain. Extremely expensive for a coop that has not even lasted a year - now having to fork out more money to buy another coop for the hens to keep them safe from any respiratory illnesses from mould.

Hi Charlie,
We’re very sorry to hear about your experience, but we believe there’s been a mix-up, this purchase was not made from our company. We don’t have any record of your order and the product you described doesn’t match our range or materials. It’s possible you may have purchased from another seller with a similar name.
We’d be happy to help clarify this, please feel free to reach out to us directly with your order details so we can confirm.
