In January I ordered à woollen scarf costing £35 plus £3 postage. The parcel which arrived contained two jumpers worth twice as much ch as the scarf, but no scarf. I contacted customer services and was emailed a return label, so I posted the parcel back to Edinburgh and emailed a photo of the proof of postage to Edinburgh
Cashmere on 2 February. I was told my £38 would be refunded. Two weeks later I contacted customer services again and was told the parcel was not in the warehouse and that the matter would be pursued. Since thén I have heard nothing despite my frequent calls and emails. I have traced the parcel and it is in an Edinburgh sorting office.

I am furious as I have returned articles sent to me mistakenly by Edinburgh Cashmere, spent hours trying to contact them without success and am owed money.Treating a customer in this way is an outrage.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. I was weary to order from them in the first place, should of folllqoed my gut. Ordered £200 worth of goods, not received my parcel didn't use the right amount of insurance coverage on the parcel. Now its my fault that I never received my parcel. £200 down the drain, challenging it with Mastercard now. What a hassle, id never order with this company again. If you got any sense you wouldn't do the same either. Avoid at all costs if you dont want flush money down the drain

At first they was replying and telling me to use the tracking number and my local post office to locate the parcel, royal mail advised they did not have the parcel and the tracking method used by the company was insufficient as it should only be used for goods under £20. When I asked the company for a refund and told them about the tracking issue they have not replied, several emails requests sent for a refund, phonecalls made and no answer. Terrible customer service as well as no actual goods.

Still not received delivery of an item ordered on 7 December 2025

I ordered separately two scarves on 7 December 2025. One of them has still not arrived. They initially claimed they were delivered but photos and delivery record show that both separate deliveries have the same delivery tracking number and used same photo proofs of delivery. They then accepted that one of the deliveries was misplaced by Royal Mail. I have since called them twice every week since 19 December 2025. I wrote them many emails and left them many messages which have been persistently ignored. It still has not been resolved. I still have not received the delivery of the 2nd item or a refund for it. I found out last week when I tried my routine call that the telephone number displayed as the contact number “is no longer in use”.

It sounds like the business has gone bust which is no surprise with that kind of service. However their website and online order facility appears to still function as usual.

Not withstanding the terrible after sale service I have received and am still waiting for delivery of an item I ordered on 7 December, with their contact number no longer in use but online order facility still functioning, I would urge you to double check before you depart your cash.

It is the worst service I have ever experienced.

Be Very Wary

Ordered a handbag from them in December 2025. They sent the wrong one, so I returned it to the address on the website in Young Street, the parcel was refused as the company have now changed their return address on the website. I have never received the parcel back nor have I received a refund. So I'm out of pocket for the cost of the bag plus two lots of postage and packing both for buying and returning. I emailed company who said they would review things but heard nothing else back 😡😡

“I had an excellent experience with Edinburgh Cashmere! Although one of my scarfs was initially canceled, their customer service team promptly resolved the issue by replacing it at no extra cost. The scarfs are beautiful, and I truly appreciated their dedication to customer satisfaction. Highly recommend them!

Ordered a scarf and gift box

Ordered a scarf and gift box, scarf turned up but no gift box. Email sent and since then no reply from there customer service, this was £20 gift box. Avoid using this company they are robbing crooks.

Edinburgh cashmere are thieves and they cheat people! Their honesty and responsibility towards customers are 0. Don't buy there because they take your money and don't deliver the product! I wrote an email and have not received any response, I have been waiting for my order since August 4th but it seems it will never arrive. Shame on this company that makes fun of people's money. They deserve a huge bad review so they don't cheat people anymore.

Terrible customer service.

There was a problem with the delivery. 6 weeks later my order has still not been delivered. Worse still they do not even respond to emails. If you telephone it is a different company who are very nice but can't deal with the issue. They "pass it on" to Edinburgh Cashmere customer team which either doesn't care or doesn't exist

Product is good but terrible customer service

I ordered a scarf, which required international delivery. I realised I ordered a child's size by accident so immediately emailed and called them to try and stop the order. Despite multiple emails to them, the next day I received a dispatch notification that the order had been posted. Very disappointing.

Now I need to spend additional money to re-order the item.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE. Not made in Scotland. Although the website writes about honouring Scottish "tradition", and owning an "historical" mill, nowhere do they make the explicit claim that the scarves are made in Scotland or the UK for that matter. It would be otherwise illegal. The scarves are made in Asia, probably in China. The rest of the website description is well written marketing jargon meant to deceive. The scaves do not have a "MADE IN THE UK" tag. It's a "BRAND" using the Scottish heritage to sell made in China scarves.

Been waiting on a refund

This lot are a joke, got a scarf mid December which turned up after Christmas so didn’t need it anymore, sent it back, first class, recorded delivery and requested a signature upon arrival - firstly they refused to take the package and it’s not been returned to me, trying to get these idiots to refund me is by far the most difficult thing I’ve ever tried doing. 100% avoid this lot

Buyer Beware

I ordered a scarf which arrived within a few days and decided to return for an exchange as the colours weren't quite what I wanted.
The company have an address in Young Street for returns. The Royal Mail tracking informed me that this serviced office wouldn't accept it and my parcel is now somewhere in a depot for undelivered mail
Edinburgh Cashmere don't answer calls or their contact form After a few emails they responded eventually, but didn't understand the issue, telling me to return my parcel!
Their address is now 6 Warriston Terrace Edinburgh, a residential street. However, this has not gone on their glossy website.
I have now contacted Trading Standards who are investigating.

Non existent customer service

Non existent customer service! AVOID
A scarf was ordered as a present but had to be returned due to the poor quality itchy fabric. Item returned, still no refund. Tried to contact them by phone and email but not once has anyone replied.
Feeling like this is a scam and will be contacting my bank to pursue this.
