Excellent customer service. Love what there all about

I am really disappointed because I do love the face and body cleanser but golden illuminator it's absolutely awful.
It's like a yellow blob on my face. You can see the strikes. It's very drying for the face so l have to really deeply moisturise my face and then the pigment moving around and it's very yellow. Honestly it's look only good in the bottle. I also purchase The clear product for keep your skin clear from acne and this product didn't bring me the results just irritate the skin even I follow the instruction mixing with something else it's just horrible to use so far. I use 3 products only one is good and I'm annoyed with myself because I spend the money it’s not cheap and I’m only disappointed. I meant to try more products but I think I pass I back to Mac products Eco by Sonia they have very good marketing make you wanna buy but when the products arrive it's just disappointment shame they don't have a return policy because honestly the golden iluminaser I can't even use it it will be totally waste of money I will be back to Mac highlighter beautiful champagne, colour glycerin squalane all hydro moisturising properties not like this one make my skin look so old and dry very sorry, but it’s just so disappointment

I came across Eco By Sonya when I was looking for clean skin/body care products. Thought I'd give it a go. I've ordered the Coconut Body Milk & Fruit Hydrator. I must say both products and my whole experience with the brand -including the team's kindness, and thoughtfulness - exceeded my expectations.

I'm loving the softness that these both products leave on my skin, even the next day!

I've also received my parcel with beautiful notes, that made my day. It felt very heart-warming and a personal experience.

The delivery was fast too.

I ordered from Eco 11 days ago but my order hasn't left the warehouse. They said they'd email me a tracking number once it's been shipped but so far nothing. I've emailed them but got no answer. Won't be ordering from them again.

I always buy a tanning mousse. Im very fair skinned so when I saw this no toxic cacao tan,I thought,at last! I applied with a mitt but only left it on for four hours to see what it was like- nothing,I looked exactly the same! Applied again the next day,left on overnight,almost nothing again.I bought medium/dark. Im now on day 3 of applying again but I’m not hopeful. Im not a person who wears my tan dark but this is nowhere near medium/dark. I’m very disappointed with it so back to my old one I will go!

I placed an order for 4 quantities of Super Citrus Cleanser (£21.95 each) and 2 quantities of Coconut Mint Body Wash (£13.95 each) with Eco Tan & Eco by Sonya Driver on 2 February 2025. I received my order on 8 February 2025.

Both the ‘Super Citrus Cleanser’ and especially the ‘Coconut Mint Body Wash’ were, in my experience, not fit for purpose.

The ‘Coconut Mint Body Wash’ did not get my skin clean at all. I applied the body wash to a 'LoofCo Back Scrubber' and scrubbed my entire body three times over, generously applying more product each time, yet I still did not feel properly clean afterwards. Instead, I felt as though residue and dead skin remained on my body. The product created a tingly “squeaky clean” sensation on my skin similar to how teeth feel after brushing, but without actually leaving my skin feeling genuinely clean.

To test this further, I used 'Herba-Pads Refresh Deodorant' pads on my thighs and arms immediately after showering. The pads became beige in colour, indicating that dirt and dead skin cells were still present despite repeated washing with the loofah and body wash.

Moreover, I’ve encountered that after using both the ‘Super Citrus Cleanser’ and the ‘Coconut Mint Body Wash’, my loofah repeatedly became grey, smelly, and mouldy unusually quickly, regardless of whether I stored it in the bedroom, bathroom, or near the boiler. I made sure the loofah was thoroughly rinsed and left to dry, yet it continued to degrade this way after every use. I have never experienced this with any other body wash before, including other organic body washes.

Using the ‘Coconut Mint Body Wash’ became genuinely disappointing and saddening. This is the least effective body wash I have ever used in my life. I spent £27.90 on two bottles of a product that failed to properly cleanse my skin. Based on the wording used on the company’s website at the time of purchase, I believed I was buying an “organic body wash to gently clean and soothe the skin”. My experience did not reflect those claims.

The ‘Super Citrus Cleanser’ is only ever so slightly better than the ‘Coconut Mint Body Wash’. It performed like an average cleanser at best, although I may now be desensitised to it because I had to use it as a substitute body wash for most of my showers instead of the 'Coconut Mint Body Wash'. Even then, the ‘Super Citrus Cleanser’ most likely is of poor quality as well, as I still did not feel that it properly cleansed either my face or body. The only reason I did not pursue a full refund of the entire £115.70 order was because the cleanser was at least slightly more usable than the body wash.

What disappointed me further was the customer service. I supported the business by spending £115.70 and only requested a partial refund of £27.90, meaning the company would still have retained £87.80 from my order. Despite this, I received no apology, goodwill gesture, or meaningful empathy regarding my experience. In my opinion, there was no demonstration of excellent customer service, a thoughtful approach to handling this situation, or a geniune commitment to customer satisfaction. PayPal ultimately refunded the £27.90 instead.

I also believe it is important to note that Eco Tan & Eco by Sonya Driver have since removed statements from the Coconut Mint Body Wash product listing that were visible at the time I made my purchase and that I also quoted in my email correspondence with the company.

These statements included:

"...of organic coconut, aloe vera, and peppermint to cleanse your skin while providing deep nourishment."

"Coconut Mint Body Wash is an award winning organic body wash to gently clean and soothe the skin."

"Also, since it is oil free and soap free, we recommend using it with our organic Tanning Products as it will gently clean your skin without stripping your tan."

These statements were publicly visible at the time and can be verified through the Internet Archive.

I highly recommend 100% Pure, which not only has gorgeous packaging but also delivers spectacular quality. Their skincare products perform exceptionally well, providing real results while smelling wonderful.

I ordered direct from what resembled a UK website, not realising that the order was then shipped all the way from Australia. The products weren’t the best quality but I now have to return them to Australia, which I hadn’t anticipated given I purchased from a UK website (or should I say, what was represented as a UK website!). They also don’t provide refunds, only ‘credits’, although I’m sure there are laws around this when purchasing online! I have contacted them regarding returning my items but have yet to receive a response. Overall I wouldn’t purchase from them again.
