Our journey as a ECC customer started

Our journey as a ECC customer started
Oct 2023,our timeshare had a 79 year lease and was on a escritua .
ECC followed a highly professional path of notice to remove points.
And removal off names on escritua by Spanish lawyers
Steven johns was helpful in the process keeping us up to date and guiding along correct path.
He was short on flowery sentences and just kept to facts .
Best Christmas present ever

A poor customer experience

Imagine going to a restaurant and ordering 2 main courses. One comes in a timely fashion and the other takes an hour to arrive. During that hour, the waiter that you have to deal with turns out to be someone who doesn't seem to understand that as a waiter, he is there to serve you, (not the other way around) and struggles desperately to get words like 'please' or 'thank you' in to his communication. In fact the waiter turns out to be so bad that you insist on someone else serving you. On the plus side, both dishes are OK and are what you ordered. Would you give the restaurant a 5 star review? You couldn't could you? Doing so would be disingenuous.
My experience of ECC has been much like that restaurant scenario. We had 2 timeshare contracts that we paid ECC to help extricate us from. To be clear, as timeshare relinquishments go, my request wasn't a tough one, not least because I wasn't asking for any refund or compensation of any kind, just a termination of the contracts. One termination took just 3 or 4 months to complete. (Tick.) The other took approx a year but then the fact that NOTHING was done to get us out of the 2nd timeshare for about 5 months didn't help. (To be clear - that's 5 months after we'd paid for ECC's help.) I never did come to learn why it took our waiter so long to attend to the 2nd timeshare. (In my experience, he doesn't waste his time answering questions from customers if he doesn't like the questions.) Such was his manner that I refused to deal with him and so ECC put a lady in between us to facilitate communication. She did a great job. She deserves a medal.
So other than that lady, the good news is that our timeshare contracts were terminated and our dealings with ECC ended on December 5th.
But I guess the real measure of any business is best understood when you ask yourself the question "Would I buy from them again?" In the same way that I would not go back to a restaurant with lousy service from a rude waiter (even though the food may be good), I wouldn't use ECC again because of the 'waiter'. (If they took him out of the picture, then yes I would use ECC again not least because it would demonstrate that ECC understand that their 'waiter' needs to not only be effective communicating with timeshare companies but with the customers that they are being paid to serve.)
Whether it's help with your timeshare or going out for a meal, you can get lousy service from rude people in lots of places. What's important to remember is that you have a choice; you don't have to pay for it.

Very sorry to hear this Austen. As you say. The job was done. It was accomplished exactly as promised, and for the sum agreed. Our abilities and professionalism are not in question here. Just the way you were treated by our two staff members. The unnamed man and woman in your review. They will both be disciplined accordingly. Clearly some internal retraining is required for these staff members. A three star review will have a serious impact on both of their professional records. Getting rid of timeshare

Having tried for several years to get rid of my timeshare I decided to try European Consumer Claims. I was a little sceptical at first but they delivered everything they promised. Steven kept me updated throughout the process and was always available to offer advice. I have completed all the required paperwork and now just waiting to hear I am no longer an owner of my USA timeshare.

Absolute Nuisance Company avoid!o and…

We went to this company years ago but we never went ahead with the claim. Ever since, they hound me with phone calls and texts every day. In the past 7 days I have received about 20+ phone calls and this is directly after speaking with the caller, explaining the situation and requesting to be removed from the database. I have done this several times but have now given up and just block all the different numbers they use. They came back with vengeance. Do not get involved with this company, they are nothing but pests imo. Btw your email response came into my junk box 130 times lol so definitely problems with your systems I'd say ! There are too many phone numbers to post here I'm afraid 😔
Thanks for your response, I will call your head office in order to try and get my details taken off your database, unless you have passed my details on I do not see how they can be calls froelsewhere and you haven't provided me with any email address to get this sorted so I will take it from here, thank you 😀

To be clear to anyone reading this. Pam is not, and never has been a client of ECC.

Pam claims to be being harassed by someone, but if so, it is not us here at ECC.

Hi Pam. It seems clear that you have not been contacted by us at ECC. Are you able to tell us what numbers are calling you, and/or give us any caller names? Occasionally someone does slip through the net as you describe BUT they usually give us more than just "Pam" to go on if they want us to make the calls (that they did actually request) stop, otherwise how would we be able to remove your details from the database if we don't know who you are? ,

If you can adjust your review to include details about who is calling, and I can show it's us, I'll personally stop it first thing in the morning by manually removing you from the database.

BTW the emails you are getting are from TrustPilot I'm afraid. Not us - we don't have your email address. (Perhaps a problem with with TrustPilot systems - lol). We have no idea who you are, as previously explained. If the TrustPilot update emails are going into your junk, then you won't get ANY TrustPilot emails. You should adjust that if you still want to see emails from TrustPilot.

The fact that you are posting NO phone numbers or names (despite your claim that there are "too many") is a red flag that you might be a competitor trying to damage our reputation.

UPDATE: "Pam" has declined to let us know who she is, and has not shown any evidence that we are calling her, stating that there are 'too many' numbers for her to write even one down. We will have to close this case in the absence of evidence. We'd love to help if you are a real person being called by us. But it seems that may not be the case.

UPDATE: "Pam" is going to call our head office... which means she will be speaking with me. You will need to provide details then, Pam. If you are real, then finally we will see.

And I will take it from there!

UPDATE: Pam has not called our head office, as we fully expected. I don't have any missed calls or voicemails either. I think it is pretty clear Pam is not being called by us.

Timeshare

Thank you to Steven and Michael for all their help getting me out of my timeshare contract. They kept me uptodate through out the entire process. Id recommend this company if anyone finds themselves in a similar situation.

Efficient, effective and affordable

I was first in touch in April and spoke on a zoom call to Mark Allen who explained the process and the Supreme Court ruling relating to Timeshare agreements. I was then put in touch with the onboarding team who included Georgia Hope. I was introduced to Steven John as this stage. The team gathered all the information and documentation needed in one go. The next I heard was from Steven John nearly eight months later, when he gave me the text to send to Muthu Hotels, and within a few hours I received confirmation from them that my timeshare ownership was finally at an end.
The process was friendly and efficient. I feel I have received an excellent service and would recommend ECC to anyone wishing to terminate their timeshare ownership.
