I had a very bad experience with rental company EasyRent.cz. Customer service during pickup was friendly and helpful, so the rental started off well. Unfortunately, the return process was the complete opposite — there was no one available when I brought the car back, which immediately felt unprofessional and concerning.

The biggest issue was the deposit. They kept most of my 1000 deposit and later made what I believe were false claims about damages or charges, refunding only about $100. After looking online, I found many reviews from other customers describing very similar experiences. I really wish I had checked those reviews before renting.

I would strongly recommend being cautious before booking with EasyRent.cz. Make sure you read recent customer feedback first, or you may risk losing money.

Upper class services. Online support, brand new cars and really nice people.

This company is cheating people with perfect contract. They are mafia from postcomunist time in Czech Republic. When you sign their contract, they can steal almost all your credit card day limit. The bluff works like this:
you buy the car rent on their web site like a " sale price ". In contact is written: even if you pay full insurance it doesnt works on the tires and tires covers and if it is something wrong with the tire or covers will be " applied" standart day tax ( no sale price ). And standart price is twice higher + all cost for the repair service.
I try to contact one cheated person and he told me: you are maybe one of thousands of cheated.. SO NO TAKE EASY RENT, IT IS MAFIA! I LOST 4000 EUR And even I took the layer, we do not nothing.!!

Terrible. Just terrible. They are gauners, not company. They will push you to fill BLANCO document for which they can charge whatever after. And they willl charge you for whatever. Thats for sure.

Avoid at almost all cost. The company makes money out of you violating the contract, not by renting cars. You are not going to see your deposit back.

We have put our lawyers on this company they are crooks. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
The are operating on different names

I'd avoid doing any business with this company. The 8 pages contract is shaped in a way that it's extremely easy for them to charge you with fees for lots of stuff which goes directly from your deposit.

Upon returning the car, we were presented with 3 pages of alleged speed violations based on GPS location of an internal tracking tool they're using which cost us 5 000 Kč.
Another thing you can't avoid getting out of your deposit is cleaning fee. We returned the car cleaned from the inside out and yet we had to pay another 750 Kč for the professional cleaning of the interior we haven't seen the receipt for.

I believe that renting cars isn't their primary business as most of the people suggest in their reviews as well.

At car pick up, you are presented with 8 pages of fines and dodgy rules which is only shown to you at the branch when picking up the car. Some of which state how fast you can go (independently of the laws of the country you are driving in), or where you can go only with written approval. And when returning the car you are greeted with a spreadsheet listing all the violations (like speeding for 2 seconds or going 62km/h at alleged 50km/h). These violations are coming directly from your deposit and are quite costly.

Another cons:
* car at a different location when signing the contract at the branch
* chaotic communication between multiple people
* not present at an agreed time to return the car
* low mileage limit
* not all defects listed in the initial rental agreement

Autopůjčovna EASY as there websites states

first of all they are stating they can have a car with you within 1,5 hour from you're contact.

Well if you make a Future request you might get a call from someone there, and given some numbers and promises via the phone, including a promise to get this quoted in an email, then you wait nothing happens, you call back and get told we have been busy and will have the email with you next week

and that is not happening ?

you call back to the person who made the promises. and are told i'm on holidays and left the task with my colleague maybe they forgot about it?

yet almost another week have passed. see no other option than contacting the original contact back again by sms.

suddently you get some random prices by sms that are no where near the promise that same person made via the phone..

and yes easyrent.cz does rent out cars...
