Poor communication, poor (no) delivery, no customer service
I'm finding it difficult to overcome my anger and frustration to write anything about my experiences.
I've been advised on 3 separate days that my delivery had been scheduled. I've wasted 3 days following their 'tracker' to see their delivery apparently going past my door and failing to stop!! On 2 occasions I have phoned AND used live chat to try to communicate with them. The phone calls were not answered for 56mins (1st attempt) and 63mins (2nd attempt), on both occasions the phone was cut off!! The live chat was the same I was held 'waiting to be connected to an adviser' until I was cut off at 5pm because they don't offer customer service after 5pm. I've got news for the CEO - you don't provide customer service before 5pm either.

Very disappointing service from DX Express.
I had been waiting for my delivery since 18th December, but after multiple updates and delays, I only finally received my parcel on 23rd December.
I was asked to stay in for delivery on more than one occasion, which meant I had to sacrifice my sleep after working a night shift, only for the delivery not to arrive as scheduled. This was extremely frustrating and inconsiderate of customers’ time and wellbeing.
Communication was poor, delivery windows were missed, and the overall experience showed a lack of reliability and professionalism. A delivery service should understand that people plan their lives around these promises.
Sadly, this experience has left me very dissatisfied, and I would think twice before relying on DX Express again.

Parcels arrive severely damaged, delivery attempts are falsely marked as “attempted” when no one attended, and to make matters worse DX delivered a parcel that does not belong to me.
As a disabled person, I should not be expected to walk around searching for the correct address to fix DX’s mistakes.
This has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
I would strongly advise retailers to reconsider using DX as a courier.

Awful delivery company that lies constantly!! They have failed to deliver my parcel 9 days in a row. They say they leave a calling card but not 1 card had been delivered. My delivery is for flowers so when they do finally deliver I'm expecting them to be dead and worthless... Complete waste of time and if any company is thinking of using them then I strongly avoid as your customers will suffer

This was an extremely poor and stressful experience. My passport, which is a critical legal document, was scheduled for delivery on Saturday but was not delivered, with no proper explanation or timely tracking updates.
Because of this failure, I spent days in uncertainty and severe stress, especially as I had an international flight scheduled. The lack of communication and unreliable tracking made it impossible to plan or feel reassured. For a document as important as a passport, this level of service is unacceptable.
Although the item was eventually marked “out for delivery,” the delay and poor handling caused unnecessary anxiety and could easily have resulted in missed travel and financial loss. DX must treat passport deliveries with far greater seriousness, provide accurate tracking, and ensure urgent items are prioritised.
This experience showed a complete lack of reliability and accountability, and I would not recommend DX for handling time-sensitive or important documents.

Parcel due to be delivered on 17 December. No delivery, system not updated, cannot get through on the phone or on the online enquiry. They are simply cutting people off.
NIGHTMARE - avoid like the plague!
Not even worth 1 star. My parcel should have been delivered 6 days ago. Every day I have had a text message asking me to rebook the delivery - it still didn’t show up. The only way this company could improve, is to close permanently
Delivery was cancelled three times over…
Delivery was cancelled three times over several days, each time via text message. Each time I had to re-arrange the delivery and each time it was cancelled. As we ordered a Christmas Tree, having it delivered with such a massive delay became pointless, I gave up and contacted DX about cancelling. They told me that I had to follow up with the seller which I did and now waiting for a full refund.
Non delivery of parcel
Supposed to have delivered parcel Thursday 18th Dec but no communication and it never arrived So wasted day staying in. Phoned and told it would be Friday 19th Dec so another day wasted and no parcel or contact.
Vendor said it should be Saturday 20th but not arrived.
DX site now says now Tuesday 22nd AND Wednesday 23rd!
Totally hopeless, worst of all couriers we've had.

Im being generous by giving 1 star. If dx express are reading this, respond please. The service is terrible. Unreliable and they are liars. Attempted delivery, they say, but I was in, 5 times. Asked to return and didn't. Lazy driver. Waste of time. I still have a parcel not delivered.

Shocking service. They claim to have attempted delivery. Which certainly was not the case. You phone customer services. Promise to call you back. They don’t call.

I was concerned when I read the reviews on here as I was waiting for a parcel that was being delivered by DX express. I needn't have worried initially delivery was estimated for 17th December, it didn't arrive but the following day I got a text with a timeslot and sure enough it turned up bang on time.
Dishonest company who pretend to attempt to deliver in the age of smart door bells and security cameras.
Parcel due to be delivered a day ago, tracking showed it had been "put into storage 7:30" on the supposed scheduled delivery date. No further updates. Next day tracking shows its on the move due to be delivered some time between 3:30 and 5:30 pm. We have a smart door bell and sensors that alert us on every smart speaker or phone in the house when someone approaches the door. Several people in the house all day and the tracking notifies me that delivery was attempted at 5:10pm. Total rubbish as I was watching the front gate at the time. No card was posted through the door as they claim in their email. I appreciate that its a busy time of year and I'm more than willing to accept the occasional delay when people have the integrity not to lie. Based on the reviews I've seen here and elsewhere, this company won't be around much longer so the problem will take care of itself, sooner rather than later with a bit of luck. Companies such as Approved Food are using DX for logistics so maybe vote with your wallet there. This company clearly can't deliver in every sense of the word and lie to cover it up. If they had been honest I wouldn't have wasted two days waiting when I have more important things to do.
3rd attempt?? DX Express not living up to the message you convey on your website
Delivery expected to be received on the 16th Dec now the 18th Dec and delivery not made I will make 1 more attempt to allow DX Express to deliver my package or as previously stated by another reviewer I will be requesting a refund from the supplier and advising them to take there business elsewhere with regards to courier.
Astonishingly useless
After DX delivered me a table instead of stamps I was referred to the DX Help center , this is the reply I received!
“Thank you for your email.
I apologise for the service you have received, I would advise you to contact Viking, and they can start an investigation on your behalf .”
Viking dispatched the correct item and have it recorded as being delivered.
DX are the company that made the mistake.
D X Your company made the mistake you need to investigate it , I don’t have the stamps I needed and I have a table someone else is expecting.
The table is not dispatched by Viking so what are they supposed to do about it.
Take some responsibility for your mistakes.
Absolute Joke
First, we were informed that this parcel had arrived at the depo and would be out for delivery on Wednesday 3rd December.
They were not delivered on this day, and we were informed that it had been lost.
After chasing numerous times and getting nowhere, we contacted the seller/sender. They contacted you and they had miraculously been found almost immediately. This was on Friday 12th December and they were out for delivery that very day.
You allegedly attempted to deliver the parcel but was unable to deliver as required a signature. which we were not aware of. No attempt to deliver to a neighbour.
My partner booked today off work so that they could be delivered today, only to find out that these have yet again been lost. With the advice of speak to the sender. This is simply not good enough, and this service is seriously reflected in the negative feedback that you get online.
Not only does this mean, that my partner has waited in for this delivery, despite having things to do. It means that we cannot possibly give out our wedding invitations over the Christmas period when seeing our friends and family.
The seller is now closed for Christmas, which is why they were ordered three weeks ago.
This service just simply is not good enough, and I want to know what you are going to do about it.
If negative stars could be given, they would.

“SECURE FLEX – MANDATORY SIGNATURE” delivery, yet DX marked it signed for and left it unattended on a reception/concierge counter at 08:23. There was no concierge present at that time (staff arrive at 10:00), so no authorised person could have signed. The “signature” is just a meaningless scribble.
To make it even worse, I received two contradictory notifications at the same time: one saying delivered and one saying “Sorry we missed you / book redelivery.” No calling card was left. Tracking said “delivered” while the parcel was effectively unsecured.
This created an obvious theft risk and caused a ridiculous amount of stress because it looked like the parcel had vanished. I only got it back because a bystander noticed it could be stolen, moved it to a safer spot, and later told reception.
If you’re sending anything valuable, don’t assume DX will follow their own “mandatory signature” process. Completely unacceptable.
Track system is terrible
Terrible delivery experience, tracking said "standard delivery" and it had been scanned out and was out for delivery, i waited in all day.....
At 16.50, i contacted their "chat" facility, told it wasn't out for delivery and that it hadn't been scanned out, couldn't tell me when i might expect it.....
I understand its xmas and there will be delays but why the lies? just tell me in the morning it wont be happening.
Tracking still not updated, so who is right? the back office or the depot.....
However, parcel arrived 3 days late but the driver was excellent, really went above and beyond.

The only way this company could improve service for their customers is to close down. They don’t deliver when they say they are going to, lie about leaving a calling card & leave customers waiting in for days for a parcel that never arrives. God only knows why companies use this so-called ‘courier’ company. I presume it’s because they’re cheap. Pay peanuts, get monkeys.

Appaling company - they sent an email saying they'd deliver a parcel from Approved food when I knew I would not be at home. I rebooked the delivery AND THEY CONFIRMED THE NEW DATE but still delivered my package on the original date and left a big box right outside my front door in full view of all passers-by. Unsurprisingly it was stolen. They laughable insist it was leftbin a SAFE place!!!! Approved Food don't seem interested in the fact that their courier is unreliable. DO NOT USE IF YOU WANT YOUR PACKAGE DELIVERED SAFELY
