DSA Solar Omdömen

I have just had solar panels installed on my house by DSA (David Ambrose and team). They came highly recommended from one of my relatives and I can now clearly appreciate why. The installation was on schedule and on budget, wonderfully hassle-free and so neatly done without any disruption. I now have a fully functioning solar panel/battery system and I couldn’t be more delighted. David inspired confidence throughout and I would happily recommend him to other prospective customers. For completeness, I have placed the same review on Google.

Just had a solar installation completed by the company this week and we would highly recommend. We had a home visit and several phone conversations about the whole process. David was very thorough. Took the time to explain what was involved and the pros and cons of each system. His advice wasn't sales talk....it gave us much needed advice and guidance. We received a quotation promptly and were given a date when the work would be done and that's exactly what happened. The whole team (roofers and David) arrived early and everyone swung into action. Scaffolding was erected and checked , the frame was built, panels were put in place (17) and the roofers had their work completed by lunchtime. They also discovered and replaced 2 cracked tiles for us. Meanwhile David continued with the electrical work and came back on day 2 to complete the installation. David helped install the app which controls operations and he also fitted extra sockets for us.
We were more than happy with the information we were given and with the efficiency of the installation.

I recently had a 19 panel solar system installed by DSA. I spent a long time considering the install due to the initial capital outlay and I sought various quotes and opinions. To be honest I’m very disappointed that I waited so long to take the plunge. From the install on 4th Sept I’ve been using circa 1 unit of daytime energy per day thanks to the solar and 10kw battery install. This has been a fantastic result and i’m looking forward to the spring and summer when the generation should be enough to charge the cars also.

A great system with top class equipment and a very proactive installer in DSA.

I’d certainly recommend them.

Fantastic service, extremely knowledgeable! would recommend 100 times over!

DSA completed my Solar installation in one day although It had been booked for two days. The whole process was efficient and professional. The quality of the workmanship was superb resulting in a very neat and tidy installation. David inspires confidence in his work through his professional attitude and customer relations.
Overall I am very satisfied with the whole experience. We chose DSA based on the experience of friends who used them and I have since recommended DSA to friends veithout hesitation.

David and his team did a fabulous job. They were friendly, professional and very knowledgeable.
David is very open in his pricing & uses excellent equipment. He talked us through how the system worked and what was best suited to us.
We never felt under any pressure to give him the job.
David came back after the install to set up our export account with Power NI (we're with SSE and not very tech savvy)
David has assured us he's on the end of the phone if we've any further questions or need advice in the future. We believe him.
We wish David continued successes and good luck in the future.
Our daughter used DSA and we have recommended him to friends.
If you're thinking of getting solar power installed you'd be a fool not to use DSA.
Give him a call and see for yourselves.

We recently had solar panels with a battery storage system and EV charger installed by David and his team, the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. David was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly before the installation.

On the day of installation the team arrived early, worked hard and completed the job to a very high standard. They left everything clean and tidy, and the system looks great. Since the installation, everything has been working perfectly, and it’s reassuring to know we’re already seeing the benefits of generating and storing our own energy.

I would highly recommend David and his company DSA solar to anyone considering solar panels and battery storage. Excellent workmanship, great customer service, competitive price and a smooth, hassle-free experience throughout.

When you get a solar system from David, you get dedicated, conscientious and tidy work from start to finish. Our system was installed very quickly after first consultation, all my questions were answered clearly and helpfully. The work on the house - sixteen panels, battery etc - was all complete in one day - great, trustworthy and friendly workmanship. In a world where it's harder and harder to trust workmen - David and his team are friendly, efficient, good workers and trustworthy - a proper genuine family business serving the local community!
I wholeheartedly recommend DSA Solar!

If you're considering getting solar panels installed, I would 100% recommend choosing DSA.

I shopped around and got multiple other quotes, and while some of the other companies were providing marginally cheaper quotes, I decided to go with DSA due to David.

He was extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the process. He provided impartial advice, and was happy to discuss the pros and cons of other quotes without trying to sell me on the kit he was installing. David will be completly honest and tell you if he thinks you don't need certain kit for what you're trying to achieve.

David has a great attention to detail in his installs and that was really clear to me from the conversations beforehand. He was extremely responsive and happy to jump on a call to discuss details well into the evening.

David and team installed 14 panels and a 10kw sigenergy system and I couldn't be happier. We won't be paying for electric for quite a while now!
10/10

Best in the business. Great company value for money and excellent communication throughout installation, highly recommend

David and his roofing team were a pleasure to deal with, fitting 18 Aiko panels alongside the Ecoflow PowerOcean inverter with two 5kWh batteries and an iBoost water heater. Very tidy installation of both panels and all electrical components. David has a great knowledge of all aspects of solar power generation and happily talked us through every query we had. We have no hesitation in recommending DSA Solar for your installation!

Couldn’t be happier with DSA Solar. From the initial quote through to installation, the whole process was smooth and hassle-free. The team were professional, efficient, and got everything done with minimal disruption. The system has been performing exactly as promised. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering solar.

We recently had a solar panel array, batteries inverter and hot water heater installed by DSA. Great service from a professional team of installers. He also went out of his way to fix some historical electrical issues. Much appreciated! Highly recommend.

We recently had our solar system, battery storage, and EV charger installed by DSA, and I couldn't be happier with the service.

David was excellent throughout the entire process – friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the system clearly, including the pros and cons of different options, and helped us understand the value of investing in quality equipment such as EcoFlow products and high-quality solar panels.

Our installation included 18 solar panels, an EcoFlow inverter, a 10 kWh battery, an EV charger, and an immersion heater diverter, all of which were installed to a very high standard with very tidy wiring.

There were a few teething issues after installation, none of which were DSA's fault, but David was incredibly responsive and resolved them quickly. He never made it feel like a hassle and was always happy to help.

We're delighted with the finished system. I would highly recommend DSA to anyone considering solar.

We were incredibly impressed by David and his team. They did a fantastic job with putting up the solar panels, batteries etc in inclement weather. They were neat and tidy and left everything as they found it. David was exceptionally helpful and explained everything we needed to know and got back to us straight away with any further questions we had. The whole process was seamless and was done at a good price. Would highly recommend the company.

Davey was great. The most responsive company wr had contacted.

He was very accessible, answering questions for us right into the evening and less than 4 weeks after accepting his very competitive price we were up and running with panels, a battery and a car charger.

The team were lovely and amazingly efficient, they were very thorough - even fixing some loose tiles they saw on the roof.

Davey even came back the day we returned from holiday (the install finished the day we left) to make sure our car charger was registered and showed us how to use everything.

He came highly reccomended from a friend and will be highly reccomended by us.

David and his team were very prompt and professional. They had the solar panels mounted in no time and the rest of the installation was stress free. David took the time to explain exactly how everything worked and we’ve been very impressed with how the panels are performing even on a cloudy day

It was so straight forward and uncomplicated. Nothing was a bother to David

From the outset David was super impressive, from his knowledge, to the communication , to the install, even the after sales has been absolutely superb, I got quotes from the “larger” companies, some gave me quotes and didn’t even visit my house, David talked me through what we should require and offered us the best equipment on the market in my opinion, from start to finish I cannot recommend this man enough, anyone that wants solar panels this is your man, local in my area, you will not regret it, i cannot tell you more that this business is absolutely superb, I would give him 10 stars if I could, thank you David

We have just had 16 solar panels, 10kW batteries and a car charger installed by David and his team. Very professionally done, with great attention to detail. The install was carried out quickly and efficiently with no cutting of corners and everything was left clean and tidy. By the end of the day we were generating our own electricity and filling our batteries!
We would definitely recommend DSA Solar to anyone looking for a reliable installer.
