I had my rhinoplasty with Dr Serhan & it was one the best decisions of my life. The service from Dr Serhan & John the translator was unmatched. My experience truly couldn’t have been better. I was really nervous about my rhinoplasty as this was my first surgery ever, but John talked me through the process thoroughly & reassured me everything was ok. I was relatively calm because John & Dr Serhan are very educated. The hospital room was the nicest room I have ever seen. It had a big bathroom, a big tv & even a sofa bed for my husband. The food provided from the hospital was also great. John had some nurses come up to the hotel room to show me how to clean my nose at first which really helped my anxiety post op.

My rhinoplasty surgery was better than I had ever expected thanks to Dr Serhan & John! I totally recommend to get a rhinoplasty done here. They take care of you! & I am already INLOVE with my results & I am only 9 days post op!

I recently travelled to Istanbul to have my Rhinoplasty with Dr. Serhan Derin and had the most amazing experience! I booked the surgery way back last year and the team at Arpanu medical kept in touch the whole time. The price I was quoted at the very beginning is the price I paid when I got there, no hidden extras! I literally did not have to do anything other than get myself to Istanbul as Arpanu medical had everything else covered. All transfers (from the airport, to hotel, to hospital, to all appointments) were all sorted for me and every single one arrived on time with friendly drivers. I went straight to the hospital from the airport for the pre-op assessments and met with the interpreter John who was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole journey and really made me feel at ease and comfortable. Everything was fully explained to me on the first day so I knew what would be happening throughout the week. The anaesthetist was also really lovely, spoke good English and checked I was ok before and after the surgery. I met with Dr Serhan before the surgery where we discussed the process and he really took the time to ensure he understood exactly what I was wanting from my Rhinoplasty, I did not feel rushed at all. Dr Serhan speaks English very well but there is always a translator present to ensure absolutely nothing is missed or miscommunicated. I felt so at ease the whole time, I was waiting for the nerves to kick in at any time before the surgery but even by the time I was in the theatre waiting to be put to sleep I still felt so calm and comfortable. After the surgery I was checked on regularly by the nurses, as well as Dr Serhan and John. I was shown pictures of the results which I immediately loved. I had a really peaceful stay in the hospital (which is genuinely nicer than a hotel!!!) and there are nurses there all through the night who check you're ok. I had absolutely no pain whatsoever and really minimal bruising. Later in the week I returned to get my cast off and it was so lovely how genuinely excited Dr Serhan was for me to see my new nose. He seemed so happy for us both and seemed really proud of his work - I really can't put in to words what a lovely person he is. Booking surgery abroad can be so scary so I really hope this review helps anyone who is thinking of booking in with Dr Serhan Derin, my advice would be 1000% go for it!!! He is absolutely worth every 5 star review he has.
I am a registered nurse in the UK and I know what to look out for when it comes to good/bad practice in healthcare as well as hospital hygiene etc... so please believe me when I say the standard of care I received really exceeded all expectations and definitely exceeds the level of care we would receive at a private hospital in the UK.

I could not be more grateful for the experience I had w/ Dr Serhan and all the facilities at Doku Medical in Istanbul ❤️❤️
Honestly, because the medical consultant was extremely clear about what work and changes would be done on my nose, and I saw so much of Dr Serhan’s work beforehand, I did not feel like I needed to express my desires. I was happy to just trust that he would provide a natural result.
But nevertheless when I first met Dr Serhan before the surgery he asked my expectations which I really appreciate. He gave recommendations and also explained the changes he would make which encouraged me even more :)
I was in pain for first 6-8 hours and nurses were very attentive and accommodated my request for painkillers which I am grateful for ❤️ After the first day I was completely fine and enjoyed exploring Turkey.
In terms of getting back to everyday life, NO ONE has noticed that my nose is different. The result is extremely natural and does not look like a fake nose whatsoever. It was a complex surgery, as the following changes were made:

“ Your nasal bone will be trimmed nose bridge will be narrowed tip will be reduced nostrils will be narrowed and shaped suitable for your face”

The precision of the work done has given me a lot of new confidence and even only 6 weeks post-op I’m really really happy. Even if swelling doesn’t go down anymore I would still be satisfied with the outcome.
(Should mention that I had no bruising and minimal swelling so perhaps this is why the nose swelling has improved so quickly)

For anyone looking for natural ethnic rhinoplasty that is tailored to your face, I 1000% recommend!! ☺️

Well I am now 5 months post OP and I am absolutely over the moon with my results. Dr Serhan Derin is a really nice man and a master of his craft. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering rhinoplasty.
Himself, John his interpreter, Zivile his assistant, the nurses and the rest of the team are all brilliant and play a vital role in making the whole process so easy.

The hospital and the facilities where the surgery takes place are exceptional, modern and very clean.

The hotel is lovely and the staff at the hotel were brilliant with me, my wife and 1 year old son.

We made the most of our stay in Istanbul and made some lovely memories during our time.

I got my Revision Rhinoplasty job done with Dr Serhan 3 months ago and I can tell you everything is going great I hand zero pain after the surgery was done I can breathe better my nose looks better and straight, I would also like to thank Dr Serhan’s consultant Zivile who’s always kind caring and answers all the questions you want to know and always makes you feel comfortable with everything you need to know, I would also like to thank John the interpreter who is kind caring and answers all your questions and understands what results you’re after also the nurses and the doctors at the clinic are amazing they take care of you and always checking up on you and if you’re feeling well or need anything, the clinic is so clean and tidy, I really recommend Dr Serhan for anyone who is willing to get a Rhinoplasty done!!

Ich habe eine super Erfahrung gemacht, alles war perfekt organisiert - Hotel, Transfer, Klinik, Dolmetscher - ich musste mich um nichts kümmern!

Der Arzt ist sehr kompetent und geht vollkommen auf die Wünsche ein, die man hat. Durch seine sympathische und herzliche Art, habe ich mich direkt bei ihm wohlgefühlt und hatte überhaupt keine Bedenken mehr über meine Entscheidung.
Durch seine modernen und schonenden Techniken hatte ich so gut wie keine Schmerzen und bin jetzt schon überglücklich mit dem Ergebnis!
Die Klinik ist wirklich sehr schön, modern und sauber. Die Krankenschwestern dort waren alle sehr fürsorglich und immer sofort da, wenn man etwas gebraucht hat.
Ein großes Dankeschön an Dr. Serhan und sein ganzes Team, vorallem an Alexey der alles für mich organisiert hat und an Nisa und Bahar, die immer da waren um zu übersetzten und um alles zu erklären.
Ich kann das wirklich nur jedem empfehlen, das war die beste Entscheidung und ich würde es immer wieder machen! 🫶

Sono andata in Turchia dall’Italia per una rinoplastica, ho trovato la clinica dove lavora il dottor Serhan Derin per caso su internet. Volevo sottopormi da tanto tempo alla rinoplastica ma non ho mai avuto la spinta giusta per farlo, fino a quando non mi sono trovata a guardare il profilo del dottore e ad avere una conversazione con l’assistente medico che ti segue sin da subito in modo speciale.
Ci tengo a ringraziare il dottore perchè ha capito e realizzato in pieno quello che volevo per il mio naso. Non posso non ringraziare il mio assistente Ugur, disponibile, gentilissimo e molto paziente dall’inizio alla fine, ringrazio l’interprete Romena e tutto lo staff che c’è dietro.

They have a great team who is always ready to help you. Dr Serhan is one of the best rhinoplasty surgeons in Turkey, who understands patient’s needs very well. Dr Serhan did my operation. Though due to swelling, I am unable to see the clear results, I am quite confident that I will get good results once my swelling goes. Please always keep doing the good work!

All the staff was amazing, really amazing treatment and care from beginning to end. My translator Romena was really great. Professional, knowledgeable, attentive and kind throughout. The post-op consultant Bahar was very responsive, knowledgeable and kind. The nurses all very caring and attentive Doctor Serhan has such a calming, confident and kind demeanor. Makes you feel at ease and understands exactly what you want. Highly recommend.

Mijn ervaring met Dr. Serhan Derin en de team is zeer goed af gelopen.
Dr. Serhan Derin heeft heel goed werk geleverd en ik ben blij met de resultaten. Ook gaf hij eerlijk zijn mening over alles. Hij beantwoordde elke vraag die ik had.
Alles werd super goed geregeld vanaf het
begin tot het einde hotel chauffeur etc. Assistent Ferit, legde alles super duidelijk uit over het gehele proces van de operatie. Tijdens het hele verblijf werd er super goed gezorgd voor me door de verpleegkundige.
Het was een warme binnenkomst, ik had gelijk het vertrouwen dat er werd geluisterd naar mij. Het ziekenhuis was super comfortabel, hygiënisch, netjes en gastvrij.
Ik had regelmatig contact met een van zijn assistentes, Bahar, die heel aardig was en al mijn vragen beantwoordde en me geruststelde als ik problemen of zorgen had.
Als ik overige vragen had, kon ik altijd de vraag leggen bij assistente Burak.
Ze hebben me beide heel goed geholpen.
Ik bedank, Dr Serhan Derin en het team voor alle hulp!

j’ai fait ma rhinoplastie le 19 septembre 2023 avec Dr Serhan, tous est bien passé, le personnel est magnifique, gentils et a écoute, j’ai été trop stressé mais on parlons au médecin ma donné confiance.
aucune douleur, je m’attendais pas a sa.
un médecin qui fait un bon travail, j’attends encore pour voir mon resultat final
j’ai hâte.
j’ai mit 4 étoiles a cause j’aurais aimé avoir mieux que sa, possible c’est moi qui a mal exprimé aussi, tellement je lui demandais un résultat naturel 😊
et aussi j’aurais aimé de savoir qu’on doit payer les médicaments, sont pas incluses, donc j’ai du payer 600$ pour les médicaments, je trouve sa cher pour des cremes et un nettoyant, faut le dire avant pour les gens prennent un budget pour sa 😊

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Serhan Derin. His excellent professional skills made me breathe perfectly and the shape of my nose - outstanding! During the whole stay I was taken care of all the time, and even in the late hours there was someone to answer my needs or requests! Each part of my stay was perfectly organized, so I didn't need to think about anything but my recovery. I want to thank to Dr. Derin for making my nose look perfect and also want to thank to the amazing Daria, John, Mohamed, Miyou and all the nurses for their kind care of me! I recommend Dr. Derin, for me he is the best surgeon for a nose job, so to anyone who is considering having a rhinoplasty or septorhinoplasty just contact Dr. Derin!

Very happy with my experience with Dr Serhan and his team. I was looked after from start to finish and was treated very well during my stay. The hotel (nova plaza) was very accommodating during my stay. Drivers that were designated for drop off and pick up were punctual and on time. Despite having payment issues because of my bank they were helpful and supportive throughout reducing the amount of stress that was caused. The hospital was extremely clean and very welcoming.

My translaters "John" and "Mithat" were very helpful and would go above and beyond to answer any questions or queries I had about the procedure or recovery.

Dr Serhan Derin is amazing at what he does! He did my rhinoplasty, at first I wasn't sure what I wanted to do to my nose but all I knew was that I didn't like my nose at all, Dr Serhan Derin gave me great advice on what would suit my face and I am so happy with the results so far! I'm only 6 weeks post op but I am loving my nose, Dr Serhan Derin is very talented and a great doctor, he also came to visit me after my operation to make sure everything was fine which I really appreciated, would highly recommend him if you are thinking of getting a rhinoplasty! :)
