GO car subscription originally was a fantastic solution to an immediate problem: I was buying a house, needed a car, and couldn't finance the traditional way without affecting my credit score and thus mortgage. GO was at first very easy: I applied online, there was no hard credit pull, and they delivered the car to me directly. However, issues started to come up. At first, it was smaller things, like how they originally included insurance as part of my monthly payment, but then called me and gave me less than 2 weeks notice to procure my own car insurance instead. They also wouldn't let me lower the number of monthly miles I wanted to pay for -- it's a sliding scale that only goes up, apparently.
Now, about 1 year into my time with the company, they have given me just 10 days to either turn in the car, buy it outright, or trade up for a more expensive option. This is my only vehicle and it's incredibly inconvenient. Read the fine print -- this is a startup, not a traditional car lease, and you will definitely feel the volatility if you get a car from them. It was a good "quick fix" but since the restocking fee is $1,000 if you turn in the car before 3 years, I thought I would at least stick with them for that long. Guess that's not the case, since they are demanding the car be returned or bought.
From the contract:
"In addition to the termination provisions set forth in the next paragraph, we may terminate this Agreement at any time and for any reason upon no less than ten (10) days' notice to you."

After a year of a bumpy experience, Drive go demanded return of the car within 10 days with an SMS. We were very surprised because they looked like a legitimate company, but after doing a quick search online, found that many people are experiencing this situation.
They have no customer service. Everything is handled by email or SMS.
Be smart, and stay away from DriveGo or you may receive a similar message.
"This is GO with an import subscription Update:
Given unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to continue providing your subscription at this time.
As a result, we must request the return of your vehicle within the next 10 days.
Any unused subscription days will be refunded. You will also receive a check equal to one month’s payment. You can choose to purchase your vehicle at the prevailing wholesale price or receive a $100 monthly discount for up to 12 months if you would like to swap into one of our new vehicles.

Inconvenienced beyond belief. Easy pickup and restocking fee was waived. But had no issues with payments or mileage or service. Out of the blue today they blew up my phone and email with a message they need my car back and within 10 days! And they won't come get it they incovenienced me to do this and I was wanting a 3 year contract and it's only been like 16 months maybe. I had a sentra and they don't have these or Altimas anymore. Camry is way more than anything I want and Rav4 is too much also but my best option is I would resign with them. But I have no idea if it will be available. And I travel ALL THE TIME for work and I am in Nevada right now and they asked me to return my car within 10 days! I am not supposed to fly back to the east coast for 3 weeks! This communication was a total shock and I can't imagine why anyone would resign with them knowing full and well DriveGo will likely do this again! I'm filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Bureau ASAP as I cannot believe what I read today!

This company does not seem trustworthy
As many other have mentioned above, this company makes you sign a 3 year contract but then decides it is not worth it for them and want the car back.
I already had an unpleasant experience with them a few month ago when they decided to stop providing insurance themselves. This was an inconvenience for me, but they presented it as this great new change!
I was just informed I had to return the car within 10 days. First of, I feel they should not be able to revoke an agreement they made with customers. Second, the 10 days period is ridiculously short and does not work for me to find a solution. I will be looking to extend that period at the very least and I am looking into the class action lawsuit as well.

BUYER BEWARE!! Stay away from Go!!!
ETA: Please stay away from this company, they have 0 integrity!! After giving me a 10 day notice and forcing me into buying another car with little time to shop, I returned the car. There was a plastic piece missing above the headlight that had literally fallen off (there were no scratches, dents, dings, nothing). Go is trying to extort me for $2500 for a plastic piece that costs $80-$140 online. Yes, TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED dollars!
Edited to add again: the entire headlight does not have to be replaced. A simple google search will show that the replacement piece only costs $80-$140. The company is straight up lying AND posting fake positive reviews to fool you guys. Don’t fall for it!
Also one of the customers who have never once had a late payment or any type of claim that just had Go send a text that they are canceling my subscription and they’re only giving me 10 days to return the car. Ridiculous that they couldn’t at the very least give us a month to figure out what to do. Some of us have jobs, kids, and NEED our cars. I currently have a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder and they gave me the option to A) “swap into one of their new vehicles at $100 off” which is BS because there is only 1 car available to me in my area anytime soon and is not something I can use, or B) buy the car at the “prevailing wholesale price.”
THE WHOLESALE PRICE THEY SENT ME WAS ALMOST $40k on a vehicle that is now used for a year and 3 months and I’ve already made 15 payments on! They’re leaving me with no options for a car through them at all and the purchase price is extortion.
DriveGo’s response in the comments is that they’re giving us options and let them know how to make it right, but these 2 options aren’t even something I can consider right now. When reaching out to them and telling them my frustration, all they said was this course of action was necessary and weren’t apologetic at all.
Don’t do business with these people! To go back on a 3 year agreement after 15 months of on time payments is just crazy. I wasn’t even given the option of a higher monthly payment.
ETA: just got an email stating I can choose from 1 of 7 locations in the entire US to drop it off, or pay $395 PLUS TAX to have them pick it up! Oh, and they’re only open during the week until 4pm, so would have to lose money and take time from work to drop it off. I have a phone call scheduled for tomorrow with the director of customer operations. Will update then.
UPDATE: Officially got another car and have been fighting with Go on not charging me almost $1500 or forcing me to sign a release that won’t allow me to even speak negatively about them on all platforms. I was told in the beginning that I would NOT be charged those fees, now they’re claiming that they’re “incentives” to keep our mouths shut. They also removed their google page because of all of the bad reviews. This company has 0 integrity.

Beyond horrible. I highly recommend not wasting your time and money. Like the reviews below, I have also just been notified they are randomly cancelling my subscription “due to unseen circumstances”. They are unable to uphold their end of the agreement, it was supposed to be 3 years. I truly hope they tried *everything* they could exhaust before doing this to people. People rely on their cars for work. And they want the car back in TEN days. Imagine having 10 days to suddenly figure out a new mode of transportation to get to your employment. The options they are offering are you can buy the car our (why would I be using this in the first place if I wanted to buy a car?), or trade for a $300+ MORE / month expensive vehicle. This is so unethical to do to people.

Horrendous!! Demanded the Car back in 12 months when i had 3 years subscription!!!
They literally demanded the car BACK with a 10 day notice even when my subscription was agreed upon for 3 years!! I have no idea what business model they run.
These people don't have any idea what they are doing - amended my insurance in the middle out of nowhere, removed the included maintainance, and finally just outright sent an email saying they want the car back because of unforeseen circumstances??? Absolutely horrendous experience this.
I will never recommend anyone using this service - these people don't have any clue how to run business; YOU CANNOT SCREW YOUR EXISTING CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS!!!
I really hope people will read this review and stay away from this company.

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT USE
Canceled my 3-year subscription less than 12 months in out of nowhere due to "unforeseen economic circumstances." I had no issues with payments and car was being operated in perfect condition. They are clearly a start-up with no idea how to make a budget or run a trustworthy business. Recalled every subscription given out during 2022 across the country, no exceptions, because they're not making enough $$ on them. I should have known better.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Apparently their model didn't work. I, along with others, just got this text:
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to continue providing your subscription at this time. As a result, we must request the return of your vehicle within the next 10 days"
Had the Altima for a year and a half, payments always were made on time.

June 5th got an email saying they want the care back immediately within 10 days and no explanation. Unbelievable horrid experience, so much for the agreement we have in place.
Stay away! Cant pay their debts and is a failing business model.

Today June 5th
Today June 5th, 2023 this company sent an EMAIL canceling everyone's car subscription due to a failing business and is demanding the cars back with 10 days. What started as a great idea has taken a turn for the worse for this company. Now they need all the cars back to pay their debts to stay in business. At this time, please stay away from this company, who knows if they will be in business much longer.
6/9 - THEIR RESPONSE IS A LIE THE COMPANY HEALTH IS NOT FINE, IT IS FAILING. THEY PUT MY FAMILY IN A HUGH JAM.

This company has a good idea but I wish they knew how to run a business. They really need to improve on communication and managing supply. I recently got into a car accident due to another person and the process was terrible. They do not pick up their phone during business hours. They are very quick to charge your car the $1000 dollar deductible but slow and rude at attempting to get answers on if I could have a replacement. It took over a month to learn that they misrepresented themselves and have no cars available until three months after my car accident. You cannot do business by just avoiding client issues until finally the resolution is just to not hold up your part of the contract. I spent hours trying to get help and was told different answers at every turn including “they cannot speak on the phone about billing issues”. They make mistakes after mistakes only to be told it was just an error on their part and errors happen. This company is not worth the hassle

From 5 stars to 1 in 14 months
Originally, I would have given them 5 stars. Now, I don't expect them to be in business for long. Here's my experience:
1) the Rogue I ordered in March 2022 is still not available. I have had an Altima for over a year (they blame Nissan)
2) My original terms and conditions included insurance in my payment, they just decided to change that in the middle of my contract and now it is NOT included (monthly payment was adjusted, but I now pay more per month)
3) My original terms and conditions included scheduled maintenance in my payment, they just decided to change that in the middle of my contract and now it is NOT included - they did NOT adjust my payment to reflect the decrease in service.
They're figuring it out as they go, and they aren't doing it well.

I was so pleasantly surprised with just how simple of a process getting my GO car was. From when I first started the process, I had the vehicle delivered exactly 1 week later. Terri was helpful throughout the process with promptly answering any questions I had via text. The delivery was quick and so straightforward. Wonderful experience so far!
Amazing Customer Service
I have an an incredible experience with DriveGO! My representative Terri was very responsive via text and was able to answer every question I had about the program. After sign up, she was there every step of the way with scheduling, delivery, and the vehicle inspection. I have no doubt I'll continue receiving the same level of customer service during my time with the company. I also really liked that the company is fully transparent with fees and what your subscription price includes - competitor programs aren't as forthcoming upfront.
Legit and reasonable
I have been a subscriber since December and so far my experience has been great. The on-line registration and car-selection process was relatively simple and straightforward. The Customer Service and Billing teams have been very responsive to my questions via phone and email. The subscription service is a great option if you don't know how long you'll be needing a specific car, as you're not locked into a specific lease term. Also, the monthly subscription fee for my Nissan Sentra is very reasonable.

CHARGE RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF FEES
I have been a customer with GO since April. I was very excited about this new business model and way of getting a car that is more affordable, essentially no money down and great options for cars.
I live in a Metropolitan area (NYC/NJ for context) where there are tolls every where (fine I have a EZ-Pass) and parking can be a hassle, understood comes with living in a congested city. But, let me point out 3 things that GO does when your car (their car) is in "violation":
1. If your Ezpass is not read properly when going through tolls you can expect GO to pay the violations that are sent to them via mail and then GO issues an invoice to you for the amount they paid to the toll company, on top of fees GO charges for being in "violation". I've literally been charged $40 for a $3 toll. When they pay it right off the back without consulting with you first, you are not able to fight it or asking for some fees to be waived.
2. Parking Tickets- Most people know how parking authority is in NYC/NJ hell. They give you tickets even if you're not in the wrong. I was given a ticket for something I have PROOF of me not being in the wrong yet GO paid the ticket violation out right ($66), but also issued a $93 invoice because they added a $25 fee for "violating" their terms of service.
3. If you have your automated subscription not go through on the first try due to let's say for insufficient funds, but you update your billing (not on the platform but via email) the SAME DAY and you're NOT LATE. You can expect to be still charged $25 for the "manual processing of having staff assist your payment verses the automatic way it should have been processed". As of right now, you are not able to update payment on the platform. The only way you'll get it refunded is if you speak with a manager due to the lack of customer experience and explaining to them that they are profiting off of every thing they deem as violation.
I would absolutely NOT recommend.
Yes, I am a real customer and it took a lot for me not to write this, but at this point it's simply unethical the amount of fees they charge and how much they profit off of you getting toll and ticket violations.

The purchasing process and the delivery process was so easy! The fact that this subscription includes insurance, maintenance, low mileage and is practically a brand new car is what drew me in. Cars depreciate over time and the amount spent on a brand new car + insurance + maintenance adds up to being way more than it would be for this car subscription and you’re not stuck with a vehicle afterwards. If you’re looking for a brand new vehicle with low monthly payments, this is the car for you.
