We also provide ADHD pre-screen consultations, clinically-led diagnostic assessments where appropriate, and structured follow-on support and therapy. All clinicians are fully vetted, supervised and professionally registered. We are CQC registered and operate to NHS-grade standards for clinical governance and data protection. People can access Dr Julian through private self-referral, employer or insurer-funded care, or NHS pathways. There are no subscriptions or ongoing commitments. Karolina was amazing. Highly recommended! I've never used a service like this before but she was caring and considerate. A great listener and adapted each session to my needs. I never felt worried or scared to open up and she remembered life events, family situations and experiences each week. I have taken away some practical activities and she has made some great suggestions for further reading. Thank you
My therapist was brilliant, with a deep quality of attentive listening and remembering, and very empathic in how she wove her curriculum into my ongoing experience. It was helpful that she had knowledge of my physical disabilities and how this impacts my mental health. Because I have multiple issues, I found the CBT lacked something for me, but nevertheless it was a productive process, and very helpful to have a dedicated space in which to be heard.
Karen was exactly the personality I needed for a therapist and person, being proactive and helpful at breaking me out of very dangerous rumination and trying to find ways of moving forwards. She was really supportive and good in challenging me at times. I genuinely think she a good therapist and person, that I hope I can take away her help and try to recover.
My therapist was amazing. She was patient and tailored the sessions towards my specific needs. I didn't feel judged and was able to open up.
My only criticism is that I didn't like the online screening tests, that I had to do before each session. For example, the depression, anxiety and phobia scales. I felt like they didn't reflect me. I can still manage well enough at work when I am at my lowest. The scales made my feelings seem less valid. I was also concerned that my score on the scales would impact the amount of sessions I was allowed.
I was incredibly grateful, that I was granted the amount of sessions that I needed. They were extended. I feel that this was because I had a good therapist, who could push for what I needed.
I am happy with the service I have received. If the amount of sessions I was given, was not extended I would have come away feeling like I hadn't achieved what I wanted. Thankfully, it was and I am pleased that my therapist was patient and let me open up in my own time.
I've had a great experience with this service and a big thank you to Peter Walkling-Roberts who was my therapist during treatment. This service was very friendly and accommodating, I highly recommend. I learnt so much from Peter Walkling-Roberts, which has helped me understand and process the life events/challenges I had experienced. I would definitely use this service again. Thank you
I found the flexibility and out of hours times for CBT so helpful. Without this flexibility I wouldn't have been able to start this work and feel I would be in a very different place now. My therapist Lisanne was calm, kind and probing into the areas that were relevant and needed attention. The balance of testing my thoughts and challenging me was really helpful and made me view things from a different perspective which is what I needed and was very helpful. I've been using the tools regularly since I finished and have a lot to read now as a follow up to the work we did together. Thank you so much, it's helped so much.
OUTSTANDING. I received therapy and support through Dr. Julian, which has been phenomenal. Anne was absolutely exceptional in her knowledge, compassion and effectiveness as a CBT and EMDR therapist. The treatment I received has been transformative, and I highly encourage anyone who is in a place to access support openly (and is ready to commit to the work and dedicated changes required for therapy to be a success) to work with Dr Julian.
I wanted to say thank you to Lisanne Davie, one of the therapists at Dr Julian. She was very warm spoken and worked with me to understand issue that I am currently dealing with. Gave me great tips that I am not slowly but surly using. It's a step by step thing..in fact I almost overwhelmed myself last night with something I had to do, the remembered her advice and it's absolutely calmed me down, I was able to do what I had to do and more! The service is very flexible which is what I appreciated. Great online app also. Thanks again 😄
I was able to ask for EMDR and be matched with a senior therapist and get the treatment I needed. My referral time was fast. The platform very easy to use. My therapist was really flexible with session times and days and holidays and applied for an extension for me as we both felt it was needed. The sessions were powerful and i was provided with tools and my treatment and prevention plans. My therapist was easy to contact if i needed too outside of sessions via email and my fears that online wouldnt work were not true. I gained rapport with my therapist and i felt we did some powerful work. I am very greatful to the service. Thank you

It did take a bit of time to get a recommendation but after I did it was a really good experience the service is a god send , very professional and easy to use. The CBT therapist I had Gillian McDonald was excellent , very competent , extremely nice and very good at her job she was also very funny , anyone who needs this help I highly recommend her and the service .

I was very impressed with every aspect of my CBT process. It was a relatively short wait time for my first appointment, regular appointments which could take place on a day and time to suit me and the information and support provided was second to none. I chose Gareth Muir as my CBT therapist and am so so glad I did. He was thoughtful, insightful, made me feel at ease with the process and certainly helped to make my CBT journey a successful one! Highly recommend.

This service made accessing remote therapy pretty streamlined and was fairly easy to use. The CBT/ACT specialist I worked with Sven Law was excellent. He was thoughtful and compassionate throughout and focused on constructive, action-based ways to move forward, making the most of the limited time we had to work together.
I went into this worried I would be treated like another patient or checklist, but Gareth made me feel like an actual person, never making me feel bad or wrong for how I feel but instead talking to me on a personal, kind, and fun level that had me looking forward to the sessions rather then nervous
I will be forever thankful that I chose Zainab, she has helped me immensely with my anxiety treatment and taught me so much I didn't know beforehand, our weekly sessions have ended but I am so much more confident going forward and much more positive about what I'm going to continue doing, so thank you Zainab 😊.
