It was quite hard to get back onto DrJulian but so worth it as I chose to work with Laura Kirk again. I knew that was what was needed and I wanted. Laura is a fantastic therapist and sees the client as whole person and so easy to get on with. I would throughly recommend DrJulian and Laura . If I could have carried on I would have. But I’ve got the tools that are working for me now. Laura always made sure I was okay and safe and I always felt safe with her.
Dr Diana Gaga was calm, supportive and understanding. She always ensured I was ok before proceeding with a triggering topic - walking me through grounding techniques and understanding CBT. Diana took the time to understand me better and was able to offer suggestions to live a healthier lifestyle too which I felt was very empathetic of her. Thank you for showing me who I can be, who I was all along!
This was my first experience of CBT. Following a self referral, I was recommended to Dr Julian. My therapist, James Sage, was professional, kind and empathetic towards me and has provided me with the skills that I need to change my mindset and move forward with both my home and work life. Historically, I have suffered with low self-esteem and lacked confidence. However, following the one to one sessions that I had with James, I am feeling much more confident about myself, my achievements and abilities as a family man and also my employment. I would highly recommend for anyone who is considering CBT, to do so. I would like to thank Dr Julian and in particular, James Sage, for the help and support that I have been given.

really helpful therapy, really listened to my problems and concerns. never hesitated to do whats best for my recovery. always had a very friendly yet professional manner. pinpointed areas i was struggling with and made sure we worked on those problems, but also making sure we worked on any other issues at hand. would highly recommend anyone who is having issues to consider using Dr Julian.
I’ve never had therapy before and I am so lucky I did and have had Gillian. Gillian was so patient and so kind. I felt comfortable straight away. Gillian has changed my life and has taught me different coping mechanisms.

I completed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Krishan Mistry who was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, supportive & helped me deal with experiences that had been overwhelming my life. It’s nearly two years after finishing therapy with Krishan & I can honestly say that he left me with coping skills that will stay with me forever. Thank you so much! When i was still going through a rough stage gillian still rung me, calmed me & helped me work through it even though the session was supposed to be for therapy.
Without Gillian's knowledge and patience i wouldn't be where I am now.
I have completed CBT before, this was a booklet but to be seen as a person and the sessions tailored to me was needed so that I could understand myself.

This experience was amazing and that was down to the great work that Jen put in, I was nervous at the start but Jen was so professional and easy to talk to that it put me and ease.

My experience with this mental health service has been excellent. The professional and compassionate support I received provided valuable guidance, making a tangible difference. The platform was easy to navigate, and the process of scheduling appointments was consistently straightforward. I am very satisfied with the service and would recommend it to others seeking professional support.
I was somewhat skeptical of counselling via video link, however, this was dispelled quickly by the empathy and professionalism that my personal counsellor showed. A common ground was soon established, which helped to strengthen the connection quickly, enabling me to express my situation clearly.
Claire Scott was my therapist and she was amazing. We worked on my emetophobia and as much as it was really hard, I never felt like I was doing it alone. It felt like we were working together as a team. I got excited when I challenged myself because I knew she would be excited as well. She was also very good at understanding my autism.
I initially started working with a therapist that wasn't the right fit for me and it almost deterred me from continuing. That was until Anne O'Shea offered her therapeutic assistance instead and I have to say I was incredibly impressed. She was attuned, genuine and kind. It was so easy to build a connection with her during the sessions. I felt completely heard and validated; it has been very healing. I found her to be very skillful and went from dreading seeing a therapist to thoroughly looking forward to our appointments.
PETER ROBERTS I’m truly thankful for all the help I have received with dr Julian ,especially I could pick the days and times what suited me , I highly recommend Peter Robert’s ,Peter was very friendly and accommodating and funny showed me how to get my life back on track with no judgment , taught me through my challenges of how to cope with everyday , gained understanding of my anxiety and depression without Peter wouldn’t be at this stage where I am at so Thankyou Peter all you’ve done going to miss the chats as I move forward , on my new path Joanne wright .
I’ve waited a little while to post this review on my CBT experience, to really give myself the chance to implement the tools gave me during our sessions.
A month on, I am incredibly thankful to my therapist Karolina for her help. In the event I am anxious now I am able to remind myself of the advice I received and use it to regulate my emotion. I am able to push myself out of my comfort zone and sit with the anxiety that would’ve previously stopped me from doing things. I am by no means “cured”but I am certainly equipped with the means to live with my anxiety now.

The Dr Julian practice responded quickly, matching me with senior therapist, Karolina Evershed. I am extremely grateful for the support Karolina gave, including tools to ease unhelpful patterns in my thoughts and behaviours, how to recognise when I start focusing on the 'worst case scenario', and to cope in extreme situations. Highly recommended.
Peter was amazing throughout my treatment and was both friendly and professional in every regard. Always looked forward to our calls and the insight he would provide. Would highly recommend.
Anne O’Shea is the therapist I wish I had always had. I think if I had found her before bow, I could have learned to see things for what they are and in turn, avoided a lot of suffering.
