Customer service with understanding of immediate attention
NIA was extremely helpful, courteous, and polite and gave hope that power would be turned on at the property in question due to her expediting. The request was exactly what I needed to hear today since I’ve been trying to get the power turned on since March 26, thank you NIA again for your help and moving the request and work order to expedite position because there hasn’t been power there for nine months and finally the residence is available to receive power. NIA said most likely tomorrow, which was the best thing I have heard from Dominion at this point. Thank you, Melinda Griffith.

Dominion energy Virginia has the worst website. Actually it’s a retarded website. You can sign up 100 times but next time when you want to to sign in it doesn’t recognize your information. So that is that. Out of desperation you call their customer service nobody answer the phone. There is an option to call you back when it’s your turn but even that won’t happen . What do they do, I’ll tell you, they do nothing.
They have a rating of one and half rating but I am sure they don’t give a damn.
Dangerous, unprofessional behavior
I love the education I got from this job, educating the customer, engaging what is going on with customer's home for an example asking questions to figure out whats really going on at the house to determine if it is a dominion energy error or something in customers home that is malfunctioned, reporting if there has been an outage however, what I disagree with this company, They expect you to follow-up with about 20 people, customer always demanding for follow-ups and if you don't they will threaten to stay on the line and I have gotten no assistance from the manager thue basically say to figure it out. her name was Patricia I still have their FC numbers, I have dealt with Patricia discriminating against me about my hair which is VERY unprofessional, my hair was in an afrow, some other lady had an afrow but she was lighter skinned than me and she had no problem with her which I have noticed and this was when the mgr did not have the camera recorded afterwards they transferred to to a new mgr. Shana, who expected you to take each calls and resolve the issue within under 7 mins. It is impossible to do that if the customer will not allow you to finish the call and you explain everything to the customer, this manager continues to tell the employees to not to transfer the call to the managers. what is the point for managers if they don't want to do there job, especially when the customer is asking for a manager, even if the manager is going to explain the same thing I am saying just to reassure the cusomter what I am saying is correct, I have a lot of confidence when I explain however some customers STILL wants a reassurance from a mgr just because of your name of position, I will tell them I am a customer account management and how long I have been working for dominion energy and customers still want to hear to from a mgr. why do you want to avoid the customers request?. Customers already "complain" about there high bill. The least managers can do is take the request the customer is requesting for. At this point in my opinion, companies are no longer trying to make the customer happy nor understand the customers request. Why are these managers in a manager position?. I know I can do better than these managers and I was a CAM for 5 years dealing with these managers. However, I guess that's what the company likes to do, keep people in a position that the employee is really good at and keep them there until they want to quit and never promote you. The managers and whoever is telling the mgrs to do these " good changes " made me hate this job and I believe most employers can agree with me that the requests these managers was asking for, for quotas was impossible & ifnitnwas possible then I KNOW those reps are just trying to get the customer off the line. I pray that there is better managers in the future however I am sure they are still there telling CAM's to get a 100% on each call, for an example: Greet on each call, let the customer talk ( customers take about 5 mins to talk), don't interrupt the customer, ask 99 questions to see whats going on at the home ( 7 minutes already has past for the call handle time ), make sure there is a resolution, if the customer still doesn't understand, your call is considered not resolved, close the call. " well if there isn't anything else I think you for calling dominion energy " ... even the closing the call is way to long to even meet the standard of 7 mins of call handle time. Just admit you just want people to quit so people cannot file unemployment when you are done using the employers. Its not like I need the unemployment however thenpoint is Incan see what this business is doing.I refuse to place this job on my application. I dont care if another job asks me why there is a blank space from 2019- 2024. Just beware people who are looking for a job here, this job will brake you down until you give up. They also like to talk " positive " at this job and ignore your issues. I also have conversations of my manager acting like I never texted her about my dental and I didnt know I was going to be in pain that my dentist told me I needed to be on oxycodone then shana says she never got the dentist notes I sent her. I have screenshot it to her that I have with proof and then they want to call it " absent " or a " no call no show" when I clearly was on oxycodone. I guess she wanted me to go to work while I was on oxycodone due to an unexpected pain, going to work on oxycodone was a no for me and I told her I am not going to work. I still have the text messages on how she was behaving, This is an dangerous, abusive behavior. After that situation I gave my 2 weeks notice I realized the management is dangerous & unprofessional I will never work as a call center ever again, because of this experience
Horrible customer service
If you don’t have power and have to go thru all the prompts to get a reply saying no outages in your area THEY ARE LYING!! Called back and kept hitting promo until I got a LIVE PERSON who said yes no power at your home. Called next door neighbor who also has no power. Garage wouldn’t open and THANK GOD I found a key to open a door!! Says 6-9 pm before service repair.

Can’t believe I’m leaving a review on an energy company. For where I live the power constantly goes out from the smallest storms. Dominion energy on Twitter is full of crap always saying stuff like “we’re prepared for the storm” then why does the power go out all the time? Apparently lots of people are unhappy because of this. Additionally they like to increase your bill because the new data centers are expensive!!! What a complete joke!!!

Dominion Energy's reliability, managed by Northern Trust, is terrible. They have given me the runaround for three days, and every time I make a large transfer of $50k out of the account, they lock it in. Their stock is sinking and they are trying to hold people's money.

It is between 2:00 - 3:09 am ,the power is out at 1050 Belle Orchard Ln. Suffolk VA. I've been on phone now going on 20 min. Can't reach customer service ,no one will answer. always misapplied and missing payments
I have 5 business accounts. Every month I mail an envelope with 2 checks and 5 coupons with instruction on how to apply the funds. Very often my payments get misapplied to the wrong accounts. I started writing the account numbers on the checks(the numbers are VERY long). I still have an issue with misapplied funds. When I brought it up to your CSR, I was told I should pay online. She also said that a machine processes my checks. And she wasn't too sure how it works either. I asked if I can mail 5 envelopes inside one larger one but she didn't know how the machine would handle that either. I don't trust my bank account information being entered on your 3rd party hosted website so I am not paying online. I prefer to pay by check. I'd like to have my accounts combined but no one will do that either. I refuse to mail 5 envelopes. I am going to paper clip and staple(several times) so that an actual person has to look at my payment to process it. Please get it together and get this process streamlined!
Poor service, outrageously expensive monopoly

Technician called once left message “not sure if you called or if there is a problem but call me back if so”. Called left messages, no response 3 months later. Truly horrendous monopoly experience. Wish we had the previous provider back!
Dominion is awful
Dominion is awful, they hate you as the customer. They buried our lines because it was suppose to be more reliable than the line running from the pole. They had workers open my fences and just trespass on my property, They even tried to get hundreds of feet of easement of my property. We never signed, they still buried the line, now we have outages every week. It takes forever to get our service back, it’s summer time and we have a toddler in the house. Dominion wants the most money and offer the least of services. They are a monopoly and should be taken over. Absolutely awful company!

We lose power every time it sprinkles
We lose power every time it sprinkles. It takes HOURS to restore. In 2 months we’ve lost power no less than 4 times. One time for 48 hours resulting in the loss of hundreds of dollars in food. It’s unacceptable we can’t have a little rain without the reliability of electricity especially as temps reach 100 degrees. I’m so fed up with dominion.

Turned my power off for no good reason!
Lived here for 4 years, always paid my bill on time. For no good reason they just turned my power off. When I called, they told me they had some kind of information that said I had moved out! That should NEVER happen.
To make matters even worse, the problem was that someone called and said they were moving into my address. Obviously giving them the wrong address. They did not check to see the accuracy of their information, and just shut off my power. And they are not going to do anything to correct the problem going forward! So I could call them up and say I was moving into any address I wanted to and they will shut off that person's power. What kind of customer service is that?
To their credit, they turned the power back on right away, but offered nothing but 100% lame excuses about why they turned it off in the first place.

Today, I learned something disheartening: no matter how many Energy Saving Tips for Your Home Dominion Energy suggests, you won't actually save any money. The reason? When you receive an estimated bill, you are obligated to pay that estimated amount. Even if your actual usage turns out to be significantly lower, you won't see any credits applied to your previous bills. I experienced this firsthand with four estimated bills, all calculated by algorithms that set the estimates higher than the highest average temperature. In contrast, my two actual bills revealed that my usage was well below the average low temperature. When I raised my concerns and inquired about adjustments to my bills, I received the disappointing response mentioned above. This feels like theft, plain and simple. The representative asked how she could assist me, and my answer is clear: I want all my estimated bills revised to accurately reflect my actual usage, and I expect my payment amount to be adjusted accordingly.

no surprise after reading the other reviews.....October 30 2024 in Conway....high pressure gas leak....loud and potential dangerous....took hours even after multiple calls for gas co to show....next day you would think the gas co would let us know about if we were safe.....NOPE.

This is a heartless electric provider whose linemen cater to the powerful,well known people in Batesburg, South Carolina. Recently they provided power to the owners home of Economy Furniture. Yet,everyone else on the street, including the elderly, were left without power for a week after the hurricane.
