This company can’t improve
This company can’t improve on zero customer service and quality. I have been with them 9 years so trust me. They need to shut it down. I was on the phone off and on over 8 hours. I spoke to 11 reps and spoke with someone on chat. They are straight lost. They all repeatedly kept saying what was on the computer screen. Even the chat sounded robotic. I paid my bill and they claim they have no record. My bank and the company I paid it through both have records. This has happened more than once. It was resolved one time. The second time wasn’t resolve and this one wasn’t resolved yet. Instead of a zero balance I owe two payments that have already been paid. All of the customer service reps speak English but have no understanding of it since Dish sources customer service in other countries to save money. They all read the generic computer. If you ever have a problem with paying and you want to stay on the line with them telling you to pay over again and again then I do recommend them. As I told the last rep, stop talking. I am done and will seek services elsewhere.

A EXAMPLE SURVIVOR NEW SEASON STARTS AND ON MTV CHANNEL THEY SPLASH A FLAG ON ALMOST EVERY EPISODE OF EVERY TV SERIES IN THAT DAILY LINE-UP. NOT TO MENTION THEY HAVE FULL SIZE ADS RUNNING BETWEEN THE EPISODES OF THE REGULAR BROADCAST FOR THE NEW SURVIVOR. EVERY OTHER COMMERCIAL IS EITHER ABOUT RUPAUL, LOVE AND HIP HOP, OR SURVIVOR. ON TV LAND THEY HAVE A BIG FLAG THAT LASTS THE ENTIRE EPISODE THAT COVERS 15% OF THE SCREEN. I HOPE NO ONE WATCHES THESE SHOWS. I PAID FOR ENTERTAINMENT NOT COMMERCIAL AFTER COMMERCIAL ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. IF THIS CONTINUES I WILL GO BACK TO JUST OVER THE AIR PROGRAMMING. A 100.00 ANTENNA WOULD BE CHEAPER, AT LEAST THEY ONLY ADVERTISE DURING THE NORMAL BREAKS.
Bad business practice
Received a voicemail “ Hello, this is Dish calling with an update on your account. We are reaching out to let you know that your current dish equipment will no longer support Netflix in the near future. In order to ensure the best quality experience and prevent the loss of your entertainment, dish needs to service your equipment at no cost to you. To schedule an appointment to update your equipment, to remove your number from this dish account. If this call has reached you in error, or if you no longer wish to receive this message, please call 180-0333 Dishay. Thank you.” Called and was told would need new contract. I told them I would not sign new contract. They finally agreed to no contract and set date for technician to come to my home. I recorded this call. No show on appt day. Now they say, never appt. And I will need new contract. Will be changing provider.

I have been a dish customer for 25 years and now they want to raise me to a ridiculous price. All they do is push products and now for the first time I am pissed and may leave dish at the end of my billing cycle. I even lowered my package years ago which I shouldn’t have to do. New customers pay far less for a two year locked price and zero for joeys. This isn’t right at all. One star dish and I will be reviewing everywhere. It takes a lot for me to do this type of work.

Dish Network advertises local channels. Guess what thats not entirely the facts. Look closely at the channel lineup. In Marco Island Fl you WILL NOT receive local CBS network affiliate stations. I canceled when I found out and tried to get my refund. They need my money so badly that they will not refund the cancellation fee because I should have read the listing closely. Well I hope this helps others avoid losing money to these people. I tried the BBB and they were NO HELP in my case. The experience date listed is after months of trying to get them to refund what was not theirs since they did not meet the customers requirements and which the customer in the end.

Technician to come between 8 & 12. Then changed to 1:15. I have appt so leaving at 12:15. No texts from customer service...luckily I tried tracking the tech. Called customer service. That takes awhile to connect!! Plus, whenever there is bad weather, it goes out. Very expensive too. I'll be dropping this service to try another. There are no perks offered for long time customers. They only offer you something if you go to cancel. Bad way to do business...imho.

I am struggling financially right now due to serious illness. I asked for an extension and then a second one waiting for social security check. The girl I talked to helped me lower the bill by reducing programs. She also said an extension was approved. When I turned tv on the next morning they had turned my service off. When I called and told them I had an extension, I got a very rude person. He said I could not have the extension meaning I would have to go without service for five days. I told him if this is the way senior (and ill) customers are treated to cancel. He proceeded to tell me in addition to my current charges, I would have a cancellation fee of over $400.
No wonder people are leaving Dish and their ratings are so bad.

I've been a long time customers the 35 years with dish Network every other month they try raising my bill charging more than they should I've called them every other month and it's not a good way to take care of a customer of 35 years paying for television service they're horrible they send all their calls overseas to people that's non-speaking English you cannot understand very frustrating call them yesterday told me they would correct the problem and issue me credits and this that and the other and as usual it's not done have to waste a long amounts of time on this so I would choose a better TV provider than dish Network because their customer service used to be great now it's all shipped overseas with foreign people that cannot speak English and it's very discouraging disgusting to even be based in the USA and be very disgusting as an American to have to deal with this nonsense find someone else to spend your money with I'm going to leave after 35 years they don't care about loyalty

The new program schedule display is awful. It's hard to read, displays inaccurate info, selects "Cancel Scheduled Recordings" as default, instead of "Restore Selected" program.

Went for the upgrade to Starlink with DISH and then a second tech came to upgrade our complete system. Things working great at bedtime. Woke up in the morning with only 2 out of 3 tvs working. Tried customer service...got continual requests for stupid stuff like checking to see if this cable or that cable was plugged in, etc. After about 30 minutes of this I requested a tech come out and got more of wait a minute, lets just check for this cable or that cable, this button or that. Finally when I lost it and insisted that I get a tech out here I was told it would be close to a week before they would come. After trying to insist that I get service sooner, she went back to that standard request that I just recheck this or that. I hung up. What a waste of our money and time. Once I figure out how I can get by without DISH in my life at al, I will just live with PRIME and NETFLIX. DISH will be history in our life!! This on Super Bowl Weekend...with company coming for the big game??? I have many unprintable words for this experience!

Yesterday when I tried to get on my Netflix that I've had for the last ten years dish had a sign on my TV that I was losing asses to my Netflix soon because they want me to upgrade. I called and I got some lady she was very pushy wanting me to get internet with them would not listen to me so, I finally just said forget it as soon as my contract is up I am going back to cox for cable
Dish was great in the past and is TERRIBLE now.
About 20 years ago I was with Dish and I loved it. It worked well and the layout was great. I moved to where I couldn't get a strong satellite signal, and eventually moved back. I couldn't wait to get back with Dish. What a huge mistake that was. The way it's set up makes it difficult and confusing to maneuver to set up like I want it and it seems to think it knows what I want more than I do. Calling customer service is frustrating. They either haven't been well trained or what they are allowed to do to fix the problem is limited. The people haven't been too bad but like I said, they're limited. Dish will change when the payment is due without saying anything then charge a late fee. I was on auto pay and they shut that off and charged me a late fee. Today, I turned my TV on ad it was different. They did an update over night and it sucks. The guide screen is smaller and I now have problems reading it. Trying to fix it myself was a joke. Lots of changes that may or may not work. I'm now looking for a new provider. Enough is enough.

I am very disappointed with DISH and Starlink offered through DISH. I decided to sign up for Starlink and was charged an equipment fee of $325 and an “on demand” surcharge of $500. My kit was installed on Jan. 15. Jan. 16 I learn that Starlink no longer requires the $500 on demand surcharge, but trying at get a price adjustment has become a nightmare as they require all equipment be returned before they will refund. This is making it as difficult as possible. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and feel that I am being taken advantage of as I will have to hire someone to remove the equipment for return when a simple price adjustment could be made. Think twice before signing up through DISH.
They're friendly until you cancel
They're friendly until you cancel. Then I learn about the $320.00 cancellation fee for equipment that wasn't working. They didn't want an explanation, just the money. Being a "loyal customer" for 7 plus years and they charge me for equipment that wasn't working. Unbelieveable.

Dish now says the account number I tried to use was invalid. It was good the last time I used it! I tried to watch Paramount plus can’t watch Paramount plus because I have Paramount plus Showtime.
I have done a lot of stupid things in my life! But none will ever come close to joining Dish! The remote control has a mind of its own! Does what it pleases!
I am stuck in a 2 year contract, Dish couldn’t care less about my service! They are happy with my money they care about nothing else
