Super helpful from the very first phone call. We needed to replace a really old item, that had been discontinued... The advisor sourced us a newer version and got it posted all on the same day!
Super fast delivery too!

Problem with delivery to wrong address but DHS resolved well

I have edited my previous 3‑star review to increase it to 4 stars after the positive way DHS handled an issue with the part being delivered to the wrong address and Yodel’s tracker giving misleading updates for several days.
It’s worth noting that DHS dispatched the part the same day and it did reach my area the next business day — it was simply delivered to the wrong address, several miles away, which wasn’t DHS’s fault.

Throughout the process I was able to speak to DHS by phone with only a very short wait, and the issue was eventually resolved.

Since then I’ve spoken directly with the delivery driver (while he was delivering something from Amazon), who apologised and came across as a genuine, decent person. That conversation made a big difference, and now that everything is sorted I’m happy to use both DHS and Yodel again (now the driver actually knows where to deliver to next time!)

DHS were very fair in how they handled things — they refunded me for the part even though I eventually received it, and I’ve since contacted them to pay for it after all as I think that is only fair. Errors happen; what matters is how a company deals with them, and DHS did well.

One small suggestion for DHS: when searching for a circulation pump on the website, I kept finding numerous discontinued items mixed in with current stock, which is a frustrating waste of time. If there isn’t already a filter for this, it would be helpful to add one, or simply remove discontinued products to make browsing easier.

Overall, despite the delivery error, DHS themselves were good to deal with and I’ll happily order from them again. I should add that their prices also seem very competitive so I'm glad this has been resolved.
